Absolutely timeless. Designed nearly 60 years ago and still looks fresh. Unlike many Ferraris and other race cars, that have feminine curves, the Ford looks decidedly masculine. Ford had their esthetics in place in the 60s. The AC Cobra was similar. Stunning car from every angle.
It’s hard to resist one of the greatest cars ever invented. GM has some spectacular Corvettes, Chrysler has the Viper…but this is a different level than both of those
Hands down, this is in my opinion the most gorgeous GT 40 I have ever laid eyes on. Inside and out. Absolute perfection , sir. May I ask the cubic inch displacement and horsepower rating of the Roush engine ?
That's why anyone with some spare $$ should be buying the last of the muscle cars being built right now. They may not stop producing ICE Chargers or Challengers, but a 6.2L Supercharged motor with a manual in 5 years....unlikely. I can almost guarantee you a fully optioned 2022 Challenger Hellcat with 10K miles in 2032 will have increased in value more than your 401K.
Peak torque at rest and 0 to 60 times in under 2 seconds are pretty good grin generators. Classics will always be cool, but don't downplay the new stuff.

Nice! Yeah it's not an original GT40 with that Roush engine in it. Originals had FE 427's as I remember. But yeah, probably is a Superformance continuation, and that's ok too. I'd luv to have one! An original is worth millions.
If it wasn't for Shelby American Ford faithful would still be driving Pinto's and Mavericks. Magna gets the nod for designing building the GT of today.
Is that Roush 427 ordered with a certain cam? I mean I just watched a clip of the same Roush 427 in a Cobra and it didn’t rumble as aggressively as yours. It’s sounds great. Let me know please. Much appreciated.
I'm no expert, but I'd guess it has to do with the engine/exhaust piping design. Going from a front engine layout in the cobra to mid engine in the gt40 can change the sound drastically.
@@trevorbarrett5507 engine placement has nothing to do with the sound. Even if the intake system is the same, it probably has a different cam and obviously the GT40 has 180 degree headers. That would make the difference.
