Definitely enjoy your videos on very well done on the narration of the folks climbing the mountain. I have a couple of ideas that l would love to share with you of items that could help people in trouble.
Probably not. I'm very grateful for what I've accomplished growing up in Memphis, TN, with an elevation of 351 feet! Summiting K2, Everest, and others was never my wildest dream as a kid, so, no, I'm done and satisfied that I don't need to do anything more.
Thank you so much! Your podcast is really very reflective and profound! I've been following it in English so far, but especially with so much text and emotional background, it would be really wonderful to be able to follow it in my "mother tongue"! I'm really looking forward to the next episode!
Hi, First of all, thank you very much for the quick and friendly answers! The English subtitles thing worked very quickly - thank you again! If it works with the German (and/or other languages) subtitles (automatic translation is best, although of course there are always some errors), it would be good, since the last podcasts contain a lot of (emotional) vocabulary (which Yes, it's also wonderful, as noted shortly before), which is always best understood in the respective "mother tongue" (automatic translations). You also conducted wonderful interviews. Perhaps it would be an idea to conduct an interview with the Austrian meteorologist Karl "Charly" Gabl, who has advised, among others, Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, David Lama, Hansjörg Auer, Reinhold Messner, the Huberbuam (Alexander and Thomas Huber) etc. He is now retired, but had absolute cult status in Europe...but I don't know if he would like to do an interview.. The Swiss Oswald Oelz, who has also been retired for a long time, is a very experienced altitude doctor and alpinist, would definitely be a great conversation partner if he would like to do an interview or you would like to do one with him.... Please keep it up! All love Werner
Werner, you may already know to click on the CC under the video and then the star * and select German for your captions. I just tried it and it works. Not sure of the accuracy :) given my accent!!
Enjoying the series, I find myself drifting into nostalgia, reminiscing about my own journey.
Glad it brings back good memories. Thanks for your comment.
Tuning in from Eagle River, Alaska. Great job!!

I had no idea you were there when the earthquake hit. I can’t even imagine. 😢
Thanks Lisa. Yes 2015 was a difficult year on Everest and those who died at EBC but all that paled to the devastation across Nepal.
I Rarely take the time to comment on youtube. But you are becoming the reference in terms of following the action on Everest. Well done sir!

Would it be possible to add English subtitles please?
Unfortunately there is no possibility to add some subtitles for these podcasts….
Should be working.
Closed Captioning should be working
It works perfectly! 🎉
