    If your wi fi box is blinking orange for over 5-10 minutes, it means you are not getting connection from the co axe cable. If you have a good connection, it should take like 5 minutes to go from ORANGE, to BLUE, then WHITE (CONNECTED). All you have to do is plug the router into an outlet and it connect the co axe cable to the back and it should do its thing. If you've tried all the lines in your house and they all appear orange, then blame the person who lived there before you for not getting the co axe lines set up right. The co axe cable should be connected outside somewhere to your nearest telephone wire/pole. It's 100 dollars for the tech fee if he has to install a new co axe line and connection through the telephone pole and takes 30 min to an hour for the install.

    mine is just blinking orange for a bit and then switches to green, i’ve tried resetting, switching power outlets and almost everything i’ve found on the internet, what should i do?

    I just upgraded from 500Mbps to Gigabit and have the black version of this modem. Im still only getting about 500 Mbps. Do i need to change from the black panoramic to the white in order to get the speed im paying for?

    Upgraded from Preferred 250 to Gigablast plan for same price with the new promotion from Cox, 65 usd per month inc all fees, for 24 months, with 130 usd discount, they said it's 185 usd normal price, yeah right. Also it's unlimited data, no cap I guess.
    The Panoramic router took 3 min to set up and 5 min to for the light stay steady and run fine on my devices. I guess I'm happy now with 350Mbps (Google Internet speed test) even it said up to 1Gbps, it's 4 times faster than I had before with Preferred 250 plan, that plan used to be around 100Mbps or way less, even at 1:00 am in the morning.

      @@khoiquach I just upgraded from that plan to Ultimate 500 plan. Previous modem was 12+ years old and was barely getting 60 mbps download speed. For me, the huge discount i got on this wasnt an option on the website. I had to chat with customer service to get this discounted plan. Loving the speed and the setup was pretty quick.

      @@henry3484 awesome, I got the Gigablast which is their best plan with unlimited data. My area got 400 Mbps at the most, not even close to 1Gbps like advertised, but I'm happy since last plan was slow, and the modem was 7 years old. Glad we can upgraded it for same price.

    Cox was charging me monthly for a rental modem that wasn’t working. It would take 20 minutes to connect to the internet. And they installed the mocha filter upside down which caused my WiFi to continuously get disconnected. I called and they transferred me to the wrong department. I called back a second time and when they put me on hold they hung up. I called back a third time and was then transferred again. I finally talked to a supervisor and gave him detailed information as to the problems I was having and he submitted a form that just said I had Internet issues. I spent two hours on the phone with them (One hour being on hold, transferred and hung up on and the second hour explaining my Internet problems) and the issue is not resolved. They said to call back in two days. I called them last month about this same problem demanding credit. They said they would call me back within a week and they didn’t. I called them a month later explained everything again and this is where I’m at. This company is a joke and a rip off.

    I'm having a issue that it connects and shows the network but when I add the password it will say connected without internet I've tried restarting and nothing works

      Hi Kold, I suggest disconnecting and reconnecting the coax cable on the back of the gateway. Once the coax cable has been reconnected and is finger-tight, unplug the power from the gateway for 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Give the gateway several minutes to go through the reboot process. If the LED never goes to a solid white color and you aren't able to get online, please email my team at Cox.Help@cox.com. We'll get to the bottom of this for you! -Becky

      Hi Rys, the blinking white light can mean one of two things. If you have MoCA enabled on a wireless cable box, also known as the Wireless 4K Contour Stream Player, but no other types of Contour TV boxes, the blinking white light will continuously flash and does not indicate an issue. The blinking white light may also indicate the Gateway is seeking MoCA network connection. Please email us at cox.help@cox.com if we can further assist you. -Becky

    Our wifi box is blinking white already, but still didn't het internet..this box is really hard to install..if we tried to connect it in our phone it says we need to sign in first..😏

      I am so sorry that the LED is not showing. It may be something wrong with the light and not with the functionality of the modem. Can you confirm that the network that you are connected to matches the network name printed on the label on the modem?     Any idea of how to enter WPS mode, I have tried holding the button down for 2,10, and 20 seconds and have not had any luck with the light turning blue. It flashes red twice before going back to white. Thanks

      Hello Dominic. You are currently attempting to use the WPS mode correctly. However, not all devices can be attached that way. Since you are not able to attach your device by using WPS, I too recommend using the wifi app. -Allan

      It's both. The modem is what connects you to the ISP, and the router is what connects you to the Wi-Fi. It serves both functions.

      Hi Jason, moving the Wi-Fi modem to another location is not recommended. If you try to move it to another location. The signal to that cable outlet may not be active or may be too weak to supply reliable service. -Greg

      Hi Jason you can try to move it to another outlet and if it works that's great but if it does not it will need to be moved back to th ornignal location. We can schedule a tech out to move the modem but there will be a $60 charge to move the modem. -Greg

This panoramic Wi-Fi modem comes with 4 Ethernet Ports - Ethernet ports 1, 2, 3, and 4 are available to connect to the 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports on computers or other devices.       Master Reset on PW6 (brown) has a safety pinhole. Hole down a full 60 seconds. PW7 (white) hold down WPS button at rear for 60 seconds.

      Hello Ivan, WPS Button - It is Located on the back of the gateway above the telephone ports, this button can be used instead of entering the WiFi password to connect wireless devices that support WPS to the gateway. WPS works only for wireless networks that use a password that is encrypted with the WPA Personal or WPA2 Personal security protocols.
