But now I am on Mint and would very much prefer to use the free Wi-Fi from my cox account as opposed to the mint data stream that is a bit pricey for an old man on social security.

We just got a new replacement modem from Cox about two weeks ago. Before, the problem was that we would lose connection when trying to remote in to work. We got the new modem and remoting on is no problem now. However, we now have a problem of completely losing all internet randomly several times throughout the week. To fix the problem, we have been unplugging power to modem and router to have them reset and sync them back up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My iPhone says that the WiFi is connected, but when try to get on too a page it comes up that the page cannot be found or the connection failed, It seems to only be with my iPhone 6. My android and my TV and the laptop I am using all seem to working okay.

Not helpful. The network does not show up on my smartphone. It will show up on my tablet or my laptop. But not my smartphone.
