Burton, Is the ref stance on the 155 3D DD 560mm? Seems wider than normal for a 155? It’s the same as the 159 on website. Just making sure before I purchase as I’m short :) lol thx 👍🏻
I’m in the UK, I’d give anything just to do a couple of turns in a snowdome right now! I still have my 1999 feelgood, although I don’t ride it anymore (or in fact anything else at the moment!)
I just picked up a Burton Family Tree Hometown Hero 2022 to ride in Japan... when lockdowns are lifted. How far back should I set my bindings on this board? Or is this not necessary given the longer nose and shorter tail on this board?
Stoked for you! We would suggest setting it up at reference to start. The board is built to have more nose than tail from the reference point. Give it a rip at reference and adjust accordingly. Have fun!
Any of the family tree boards considered a “one board quiver”? I honestly ride mostly resort but I am off groomers 99% of the time. Winter Park has great “backcountry” feel in the Vasquez ridge area.
@@enginenerding5437 if I’m not mistaken, the factory in Austria was where Forum had their boards made as well. The Destroyer’s made towards the end of Forum are pretty much Burton Customs.....but let’s not go there 😂 What Burton did to Forum / Special Blend sucked big time. I’ve got several Forum boards & still to this day they are awesome.
at least it was a company add that was mostly interesting. i respect the company, but never messed with the boards. def wanna try the strapless bindings tho my fav board ever was a Tribe. Never Summer is always a wise investment in a quiver
@@enginenerding5437 i would absolutely love to but already invested into Unions with 3 pairs before the StepOns came out and i wouldn't be able to afford them atm anyway...couldn't even afford a pass this season :\ send a 540 or take a whole run switch for me homie happy shred
Having a blast this season with my new Hometown Hero in the Vermont backcountry.
Stoked to hear it Patrick
Been loving my Skelton key and just got the hometown hero split best borads out there!
Cant wait for the new 159 Deep Daze 3d to arrive!
In conjunction with my StepOn Ions it will absolutely blast in Pow!
Just got the custom x with genesis bindings and the ion boots. Can’t wait for this weekend to break it all in!
Sweet video, Kelly's comments about leg burn were interesting.
She's right. With a pow board, you don't get leg fatigue like a normal board.
Take it hero 152..last size in shop..my weight 73kg a hope in powder enduro))
Loving my Fish 3D 161. I put the Freedbacks on my Cartel bindings. It’s surfing on snow !!!! Highly recommend ❄️🌊🏂
HI! I am looking for a snowboard for the first time, what do you like the most about it?
Love the tree
They're our favorite type of tree.

Awesome! Thanks
Get a big board on a powder day and watch the foots tracks grow off your trail
The ski and snowboard industry and community should do more to combat emissions and preserve natural environment. Protect what we love.

Hometown Hero
I owned a few Burton boards that were made in Vermont and Canada (I am positive it was made in Canada). Are these boards still made in North America?
They are made in Austria and China. I think the Austria factory was one of the OG factories for them.

not sure that 3d shapes are the future. I bought the 3d daily driver and the topsheet cracked and bend where the 3d shape bends. Ugh
