I bought this Craftsman V20 Cordless Stick Vacuum almost 3 years ago. We have used it every day to clean up after 2 dogs and 2 kids and it has been great. It is a great price of $149 and is a great value. But recently, it broke and died!

Bro, TY so much for this vid. We have the same vacuum and it broke after about the same period of time. I didnt even know the warranty was that long. We went online and started a live chat and they just needed the manufacturing stamp number. Sending me another one in 2 weeks!!! Saved me another 150 bucks!!

Dont' throw the battery away!! file a warranty claim on it and they will send you a new one.

You might want to see if you can return the bulged battery under warranty. Bulged batteries are dangerous, so I would stop using it for now
Too late threw it away at Lowes already. If it was a 4ah battery I would have tried by the 2ah is hardly worth it.
I have now had two Crafsman stick vacuums. I have my original receipt for the last one purchased - it is 6 months old and no longer working. I took the vacuum, the manual, charger and receipt to Lowes where we had purchased it. Lowes told me I had to contact Craftsman because I was outside the 90 day warranty. I went online and followed the directions to submit a warranty claim and request a refund - I also uploaded the receipt to the site. I then had a long chat conversation a Craftsman customer service representative who said my request would be expedited and I would hear back within 3 days, After 7 days I reached back out and Craftsman response was go to Lowes. Disappointing!
Maybe try calling again and getting a different person on the phone. My experience was easier than I expected. Thanks for watching
