@@jeffalbillar7625 oh yeah I didn’t kno that I’m going to check them out, I want a fire eel but my tank only a 55 gal, I don’t want to put the elk through that I do like a lot of the fist they get in at Predatory Fins but my tank can maybe fit 3-4 full grown cichlids. so I was thinking of just getting a lot of lil size pleco and growing them out or 2 cichlids and a couple pleco. But ima wait till they come to NY bcuz I live in philly 1 flight or me and my homie drive over there.
It's a tie between the beautiful Fire Eels & that stunning white Diamond Sturgeon.
My favorite and absolute dream fish is the black dragon cactus pleco! They are just so expensive everywhere I see them. One day I’ll get one!

I would have to say the Harlequin catfish I use to have 2 of them 6 /7 years ago and have never found them locally since ... and I love all the odd ball fish you bring in time to time

I love those plecos! Definitely going to get one. You have to check out Aqua Hut in Coram NY when you move up. The owner is a great guy and they always have a great stock of different fish all the time! I will definitely be coming to visit whenever I get leave to go back home to Long Island.
I suggest you to have "yellow sentarum channa", " Toman", and "jardini arowana". All of them are from Indonesia. That's should be awesome

Have you ever thought about breeding all those monster plecos like the Adonis/black dragons etc, could be pretty lucrative and you’d have the resources available to figure it out. Idek how much you’d save on shipping costs
The problem with that is that the volume of sales he has, for B2C business it’s ok but for wholesale they won’t be enough. You need to wait months or years in some species for the fry to to have the size of fish that you can get by importing them in a shorter period of time (so that you can charge more for the same fish but bigger)
@@tanodondero2954 fair point but I don’t think anybody is breeding the larger species and who knows what the ecological environment of the Amazon will look like in any number of years
@@RobsAquatics yeah, I think the new PF facility in NY will be bigger enough for Rod to breed fish, he even say that on the video. That will be really good to preserve monster fish species
Too spiny to hang onto it long enough to breed it successfully... I couldn't imagine what damage that those spines would cause to your wedding tackle...
Man... talk about what a spiny exoskeleton can do... just trying th get one to hold still long enough to even attempt to breed it... a man would almost certainly be guaranteed to end up with some serious injuries that would be at the very LEAST... probably a severely shredded sexing stick that would go along with that pair of permanently punctured berries... gloves too... need gloves to hold it with in your hands the ENTIRE time during your attempted breeding session with that monster of a spinosaurus...
