I have been using same since 1.5 years But from last month utensils are not getting clean also detergent doesn't completely finish in a cycle I use usually turbo with steam
@@firdausasrar9409 hi, can you tell me what you find has changed after this 1½ years - the water or the detergent or any other settings etc. which could be affecting the cleaning?? If I know these I can suggest some corrective measures. In the mean time you can check/clean your spray arms and filters for any blockages. If your water is very hard, try descaling.
Hi Prasenjit, thanks for sharing your views. LG dishwasher is an excellent machine with amazing features, which is what I've shown in my LG dishwasher video series. But a lot of viewers reported heating element issue and also a lack of auto resume feature. I have shared this too with my viewers. I guess they must have rectified these in subsequent lots. You are right about the possibility of HE error occuring in any dishwasher.
Hii Bhuwana ma'am....all ur videos on dishwashers hav helped me sail smoothly with my new lg dishwasher...haven't faced any difficulty till now...this is the best new addition to my kitchen...made my life really easy in these trying times of Covid 19 ...cant thank u enuff for all the help and quick response from u...my utensils look brand new now....😁
Very happy to know that Ranu. Glad that my videos helped you in sailing smoothly with your Dishwasher. I'm sure it must be making you quite relaxed fit not having to bother about any help and happy to see the shining dishes. I can relate to that feeling. Enjoy your dishwashing and explore your machine to the fullest! 👍 Thank you. 🙏
@Ranu Please provide your detailed feedback Any HE error How about Salt indicator? How about Auto resume in case of power cut ? How about front panel heat ? Also could you please share the price you got for

Hi mam! Thanks for detailed video. I am confused between Bosch and LG. The largest duration of wash cycle in Bosch is 1:30. I have few questions. Which program in LG, is best for daily washing of utensils/plates which are normally soiled? Is this too big for family of 3? I want to know the duration of wash programs actually. And any big changes in electricity consumption as steam usage will need more power? thank you.
@@AtulKumar-sw6fc Thanks a lot Atul sir for your detailed explanation. Im sorry for a late response and thank you for your willingness to help. You replies are fair enough. One of the other main reason for my confusion b/w Bosch and LG is LG is 14 plate setting. We are a family of just 3 people.I just didnt want to bring a big machine where I won't have enough utensils to wash and then ill end up washing in half load mostly. That was also my concern. I have AC, Washing Machine from LG and I just love them. Another question, apart from Eco, can turbo mode give good cleaning results for daily washing if in case I want to opt for a program of less washing duration? Any clue how much electricity this washing cycle consumes? usually Bosch, Siemens etc have these details in their manuals, LG doesn't, Thanks again for your time and patience Atul bhai.
Sorry Ahmed, I seem to have missed your query. Just now went through the exchanges between you and Atulji. I'm sure with his detailed explantions you would have got to know about the LG dishwasher with extraordinary features. Having said that I would like to tell you that my 8 year old BOSCH which does not have so many options and programs is equally good and I'm still getting amazing cleaning results always. Finally it should be your decision based on budget, your requirement etc. Hope you've made up your mind by now. Good luck for buying yourself one. In case you haven't yet, please wait for my comparison video very soon. Of course Bosch haven't yet come with their latest advanced model. Thank you.
Hi, thanks for the review. Please advise if the machine completely dry up after the wash cycle or does it leave water droplets on the door, rack and inside of the machine? We have just bought this dishwasher and after the wash it seems that there is water residual inside. Also, some vessels does not completely dry up. Have used rinse aid too. Please advise if this is normal as we feel that our machine could be faulty. Thanks
Hi Vidhi, Turbo cycle may not give full drying. And even in other programs, drying is achieved by following the correct door opening procedure at the end of the cycle. Don't open the door fully immediately after the program is completed. Keep it slightly open for 10 to 15 minutes and then open fully for sometime before removing utensils. Thanks.
Excellent video. Very informative. I dint even had to take a demo after buying the machine. Kudos and thank you! Few Queries : 1. I am skeptical in placing the cooker lids in dishwasher. Have you had any issues/damage after its prolonged usage in the dishwasher? 2. I don't see you placing the cooker gas rings or the weight in this particular video. Do you recommend placing them in this dishwasher model? 3. Can I place big tupperware boxes and their lids in the bottom rack when the steam option (Delicate cycle with steam) is on? I am skeptical about that too. 4. Have you tried placing tupperware utensils in intensive cycle with steam option on? Thank you!
Thank you Janani! Answers to your queries : 1. No. Even after 8½ years of washing the cookers, lids, weights, and gaskets, in my Bosch dishwasher, they have not got damaged till date. 2. I may not have shown in the video, but as long as I had the LG with me, I had washed all of the above in the LG dishwasher, safely. You check out all my LG videos, I would have shown these being washed in any of them. Remember, the cooker and it's parts withstand 100 deg C while cooking. So they can withstand the dishwasher temperature easily. 3. Earlier i had quite a few Tupperware items, which I've washed in Bosch. But I hardly have much Tupperware with me now, and at the time i had this LG with me. Tupperware is safe to be washed in dishwashers, but I'm not sure about it being washed in steam. You have to try doing so with an older Tupperware item, for testing. Hope you find my answers helpful.
Very nicely explained. Thank you so much for the video. It helped us making up our mind on buying the correct model and also how to place the utensils for better cleaning.
Hello Bhuvana Madam. Thank you for your sincere effort for all the dishwasher videos. I have the same LG machine you have displayed in this demo. I may be using the machine wrong amd hence the wash quality is pathetic. I am using Finish detergent powder, salt and rinse aid. My water TDS level is varying from 300 to 500. But utensils are never shining and has white and rough salty surface. Please suggest how to overcome this. What is the ideal water Hardness level ? Or is there any other change to be made. Please help.
Hi Bhavana, Thanks for your query. Getting a good washing result from dishwasher is dependent on a lot of issues like proper placement of dishes, whether the dishes were kept soaked or not, using the correct program/cycle based on the load, the quality of water, the amount of detergent used, etc. You have not mentioned which cycle you use and which cycle gives bad results. I am sure you would have set the salt setting in the machine to suit your water hardness. If you are missing out on any of the points mentioned above, you could try to take care of that. In case everything is alright, you could try some other detergent or tablet. Although I find Finish to be the best and Fortune not giving good results, there are lot of people who are getting good results from Fortune. Just be patient and try to understand which factor gives good results and which gives bad results by trying out different options and noting them down. This is a very advanced machine with lots of program cycles and options. So you will need to try out different combinations. Over a period of your study and usage, you should be able to understand your machine and get good cleaning results. Good luck. Feel free to write in case you still have problems.
Thank you so much . These videos are very helpful. After seeing your comparison video on Bosch v lg and also deciding ourselves , we purchased LG dishwasher . Thank you for again for such helpful videos And also doubt solving replies to the comments .
Hi Latha, This is a 14 place setting dishwasher. If you mean the kind of dishes, you can wash stainless steel, ceramic, heat resistant glass, branded plastics which are marked dishwasher safe, Tupperware, etc. At the moment there are reputed branded detergents, etc available. I have not tried any organic cleaning agents and hence cannot comment on their efficiency. In case you wish to, you will need to search for such products online. Thanks.
Namste bhuvana garu, tq so much for detailed explanation in every aspect... I have a doubt that can we avoid rinseaid for very first time in lg washer, if the water is softened, and plz tell me that how to load machine very first time and what type of wash cycle should we use.... i am waiting for ur response to start my washer for very first time.
Hi Nagapoojitha, Rinse aid is used for drying and giving shine to utensils. If you don't want to use, you need not use it if your water is soft and if you're using tablets. If detergent is used it is better to use rinse aid and adjust setting according to your water hardness. Nothing happens if you do not use rinse aid initially. But to avoid the rinse aid indicator from staying ON, you can set it to level 0. In this video I have shown loading of utensils. Also watch my other videos of LG dishwasher in which I have shown other cycles like Pots and Pans, Glassware, Ceramics, etc. If you watch these videos you can see how to load the utensils. I am sharing the link of the full playlist below - ua-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYoWei5t-ZGBgsL7tBV1ymkX.html LG Dishwasher videos playlist. Thank you.
@@nagapoojithagadde8014 please adjust your salt level of you're going to use tablets always, as tablets already have salt and rinse aid to some extent. If your water is soft, then keep both the salt and rinse aid setting to minimum, while using tablets.
Thanks for the dishwasher uploads ma'am, it is really helping many of us. Please tell us your honest opinion about which is better LG or Bosch.I found Bosch is better than LG. I have bought LG dishwasher (white) last week and my sister-in-law bought Bosch. LG dishwasher takes 3 hrs 26 min for auto mode, whereas Bosch is doing this job (auto mode) in just 1 hr 20 mins. The machine and utensils are not getting dry in auto or turbo mode . Further the installation guy of Bosch had brought Finish tablets (2 in no.) and Finish rinse aid liquid for demo where as LG guy did not have any tablets, detergents or salt for demo. So he gave us demo without tablets. He recommended us to use Fortune products.I don't know about its quality. Please help me , whether I should go for Fortune or not.
Thanks for the appreciation.I am using Bosch for 8 1/2 years now and am very happy with the cleaning. I know LG has lot of long duration programs which could be a put off. But remember most modern machines have long programs which give good cleaning at less power and water consumption. Longer programs consume less power. Turbo mode does not have drying. So you have to give it some time for drying. Different detergents give different performance based on water quality. You could watch my detergent videos playlist for more info - ua-cam.com/play/PLvZ681nV6tYpjbPPiogP2RIuDgCtx5Hg6.html Fortune is good if you have hard water otherwise the choice would be Finish. Thanks.
No Khalid, this model of LG dishwasher does not resume from the same point where it stopped during a power outage. It goes to the beginning of the cycle chosen.
Hello Madam, your demo was really good. Very descriptive and easy to understand. I have a query madam. When we have put the option set to TURBO + (plus) STEAM - (Minus) Extra Dry. At the end of the cycle, we are seeing that the water droplets on all the utensils and the inside of the machine is not even hot, as you have demoed in the video. Let us know if we are missing anything.
Hi Hemanth, sorry for the delayed reply. I didn't quite understand what you have written. Do you mean to say that you selected the same option like I've shown in your machine and your dishes weren't dried and hot? Or are you talking about the dishes in my video. If your dishes are not hot after this program, then that must a heating problem. If you've this machine, please go through your manual, in which they have listed many problems and their possible causes. If you meant something else, please clarify. Thank you.
I have the exact same problem with my new LG Dishwasher. After wash cycle the utensils are not super dry and there is water on the inside walls of the dishwasher. The LG service guy is not helpful. Were you able to rectify?
Wow..wonderful video..you have shown complete daily stain from Indian kitchen..extremely burnt kadai..milk pan with hard stain..please let me know the below points: 1. Which dishwasher is best IFB, Bosch or LG or other brands available in India 2. Can dishwasher normally wash brass or copper material plates? 3. I was looking for next video of this dishwasher,I didn’t able to find it
Hi Sharmishta, thanks for your appreciation. Yes copper and brass and other materials can be washed in the dishwasher, but preferably in low temperature cycles. IFB is a very popular brand and was tied up with Bosch a decade or more ago. It was one of the very early brand of dishwashers that was available in India many years ago. Even today many people are happy using IFB. All the three brands are available in India. I've used both Bosch (which I've been using since 8½ years now) and the latest model of LG which I got to use for a few months. I'm making a comparision video, and will be uploading in the next couple of days. Surprised that you couldn't see my other LG dishwasher videos. Hi Sudipta, sorry, but I do not have this dishwasher with me. I shall post a video of the same in my Bosch dishwasher at the earliest. I am sure you will find that useful. Thank you.
Mam we are using Vim tablets for our recently purchased LG dishwasher. Mam could you please clarify whether we can put 2 vim tablets At once for better cleaning
Hi Sony Joy, LG too has condenser dryer. Post the cycle the dishes are slightly wet. But on leaving it for 10-15 minutes after cycle completes , the dishes become totally dry due to condensation drying. If you use Extra Dry option, the dishes come out very dry. Hope that clarifies.
Hello madam. How are you? First of all, wishing you a very Happy Deepavali. All your videos are very helpful in understanding the basics of a dishwasher operation. Thank you so much for the detailed explanations. I am planning to buy a dishwasher within a week. Have extensively researched a lot on the internet and have seen almost all your videos regarding the dishwasher. I have a few important queries which I expect you to give me a reply to as soon as possible. I hope you will reply before I actually purchase the dishwasher this coming week. Pardon me for the lengthy query: 1) since you have used both Bosch and the new Lg DFB424FP, in your opinion which is the better dishwasher according you available today? Given a choice to purchase either Bosch SMS46KI01 or the LG DFB424WP, which would you choose? I read that Bosch is a better machine but if any problem is encountered, the customer support is not upto the mark. Considering the customer support, which one would you suggest to go for? Please give me your unbiased opinion. 2) I noticed that in this video, you have put the 3in1 tablet below the bottom rack directly instead of putting the tablet in the detergent slot provided on the door. Why have you done that? Would you please explain why? 3) does Lg provide extended warranty on this product? 4) how is the cleaning result done by this LG model compared the the Bosch that you are using from past 7 years? Is it better? My purchase would be entirely dependant on your suggestion and reply. Hence I request you to reply at the earliest.
Hi bdn317gmail Thank you for your comments, words of appreciation and queries. Wishing you and your family too a very Happy Diwali and joyous times ahead. I am glad you have now decided to buy a dishwasher and I am happy to note that my videos have helped in clearing your doubts. I am sure it will make your life easier. I will reply to all your queries to the best of my knowledge and experience: 1) The better dishwasher today is definitely LG DFB424FP. For the reason that it has some advanced and unmatched features - - Quad wash (spray arm with 4 arms) - Wider spray arms with more nozzles - Water spray from the bottom of top spray arm - Steam facility - Digital touch panel with melody - Over 60 program combinations - Bottom rack can be made totally flat to accommodate only utensils. - Wifi and smart diagnosis features (not necessary but useful) Although BOSCH SMS46KI01 has a third rack for cutlery, the above features of LG more than make up for the absence of a third rack. For the above reason, given a choice today, I would definitely buy LG DFB424FP or DFB424WP (both are same only colour is different) Yeah BOSCH is generally a trouble free machine because of German technology which is outstanding and reliable. I have had no problems with my machine for the past 8 years and hence I cannot comment about how good or bad their service is. If you see online, you will come across both good and bad reviews about their service. But we also get to read about poor LG service online. Having said this, if your water quality is good (which is the biggest factor towards getting good cleaning) I think you can expect trouble free performance in both these brands. So except some local/regional variations, service levels of BOSCH and LG both of which are large companies, should be of same level. Since I have not availed BOSCH service till date, I am not able to give any more opinion than this. 2) In BOSCH at the front of the top rack there is a handle which is also like a tray. When we place the tablet inside the compartment, it opens and the tablet falls on this tray in front of top rack. In LG this tray is absent on the top rack. Even if we place the tablet inside the compartment, it will fall on the floor of the dishwasher. And in the manual, they have mentioned about placing the tablet on the floor. This is the reason I placed the tablet in the bottom floor in LG dishwasher. 3) I could not find any information about extended warranty on LG. The website says 2 year warranty and 10 year on motor. But please note (I am sure you may be aware of this) that motor is not the main or critical component in dishwasher. Unlike the washing machine in which the drum with the weight of the clothes if operated by the motor which becomes the heart of the machine, only the water pump and drain pump (which are rather small in comparison) have motors. So mentioning direct drive inverter motor on dishwasher is just a marketing gimmick. BOSCH gives two year comprehensive warranty. In case you are interested I can enquire with the company and tell you about LG extended warranty, if any, in a day or two. 4) Definitely the cleaning in LG dishwasher is better than the BOSCH dishwasher because of the points listed in 1) above. Although I am very happy with BOSCH and it gives me very good results (I am fortunate to have good quality soft water at my place), the cleaning results I got in LG were better especially of those dishes that were not cleaned well in Bosch. I hope I have been able to reply to all your queries. Finally you can go in for the brand and model of your choice based on the above and the offers/discounts and service in the place where you reside. Before purchase, I would also request you to check the water hardness in your place and ensure soft water to your dishwasher if possible. P.S. Nowadays you get lots of offers/discounts both from company/dealers offline as well as online. I do not know how you intend to purchase. But in case you decide to go in for LG or any other Bosch model(as the model you have mentioned is not seen online) and decide on online purchase through Amazon/Flipkart, I would request you to purchase through my buying link shared below. Bhuvana Adi thank you for your quick reply. I will check with the local dealers prices and compare it with the online offers available on the link provided by you. If the prices are the same, I will definitely use your referral link. Will check for the hardness of water too as per your suggestion. Looking at the initial response of the Bosch customer care in my city, I think I would be going for the LG dishwasher. Will keep you updated on the same. Thank you very much
Hi Maya, a good question. Though the racks in any model are always removable, it is not a good practice to keep removing them on a daily basis just for the convenience of keeping vessels easily at their respective places. Anyway, removing the top rack from the rails is quite difficult, much more than the bottom rack. Secondly even if we just want to remove the bottom rack, it is not a good practice to keep it anywhere outside the dishwasher (especially with loaded utensils) as it could damage or break the wheels (rollers). In case you are looking for a dishwasher that is easily accessible in the kitchen, it is better to go in for a built in model which will be fitted in the kitchen below the kitchen platform. Thanks.
We purchased it after seeing your demo and feedback. It seems there is no memory back up in this dishwasher. Whenever power cut is there the machine restart from the beginning of the cycle.
Hi Aruna, thanks for watching my videos and finding them useful. Yes, you are right regarding the auto restart, a lot of my viewers recently have reported the same issue ie. the dishwasher does not resume from same point but starts from the beginning after a power cut, which should not be the case. I am not sure whether this is only in one lot or this is a deficiency in the machine. Incidentally, I did not face this issue when I got the opportunity to use the machine for two months last year during which I made my videos. Auto resume feature is a simple and common one which is there in all gadgets nowadays. I think you will need to call LG service to get this issue addressed. Thanks.
Silver usually gets blackened in the dishwasher, so it is not advisable to wash in dishwasher. At the most they can be washed in a low temperature cycle (upto 40-50 degrees), but still you may not get the shine. Thank you.
Hi Shalini, no dishwasher manufacturer recommends washing aluminium cookware in the dishwasher as they can blacken and lose shine in the long run. But you can wash them without getting affected in low temperature cycles in any dishwasher. I've been doing so in my Bosch dishwasher without any damage to my aluminium kadais and idli plates with idli cooker.
Mam is it a fully automatic machine,if the Power off during any cycle and power cums then the cycle starts from the starting or where it stoped.mam there is any settings to do
Hi lakshmidurga, Yes, you are right regarding the auto restart, a lot of my viewers recently have reported the same issue ie. the dishwasher does not resume from same point but starts from the beginning after a power cut. there is no setting required. It should auto resume by itself. This is a simple feature available in all appliances these days. i am not sure whether this is only in one lot or this is a deficiency in the machine. I think you will need to call LG service to get this issue addressed. Thanks.
Hi bhuvana have been using LG DW from past 7 months there was no issues now there are red small dots on all steel utensils like rust marks have been using crystale tablets. last 15 days been using crystale tablets new batch got from Amazon .what could be the issue as you are expert asking help from you. Should I call the service guy to check also please advice
Hi Vani, are you getting this in all utensils or only on some utensils? Are you getting this in only the new lot of Crystale tablets or even earlier? Some ordinary quality stainless steel utensils tend to get these rust spots when cleaned in dishwasher. But these go away on slight scrubbing. Also sometimes steam cycles tend to cause this. Try using non steam cycles or steam options, and these rust marks should go away. Thanks.
I have purchased this dishwasher a week back. In turbo mode when I am running it with fortune 5in 1 tablet, I can see a lot of water droplets present on the surface, walls, inside of front panel, trolleys. It's full of water every where. Do you know why? Also, wifi setup is reset everytime I switch off dishwasher...can you pls suggest?
HI Sumit, Turbo is a short program the duration of which is not enough to utilise the tablet fully sometimes. So depending on soiling, use turbo or eco. Use tablet for eco and other long programs. And remember, turbo does not have drying as part of program. So you have to give it some time for drying. After the cycle Keep the door slightly open for about 10 minutes and then open the door fully. Check after 15 minutes or half an hour. Wifi should not reset everytime. Please check your wifi router settings to address this issue. Thanks.
If one uses the shortest time program...the Quick one, how long will it take & do the dishes come out dry in this program? If not is there an option only to dry out wet vessels?
Hi Maya, the shortest program cycle in LG is 38 minutes, It is meant for very lightly soiled dishes. This does not have drying. You've to select Extra Dry option or another cycle for better drying, which in turn will increase the cycle time. The next short program is the Turbo cycle (with Extra Dry as default) of 59 minutes which is for moderately soiled dishes. The Extra Dry option can be turned off if you do not want to dry dishes after washing, which will result in a shorter cycle time. Hope this answers your query. Thank you.
Hello Mam could you please clarify if we can place a hot pack box ( covered outside with plastic and inside with steel) in the LG dishwasher or should we not keep plastic lunch boxes ?
I have understood about the box you've asked about. You can put those hot packs in any normal program without using additional functions like steam or high temperature. Try out a couple of times, before you decide to do regularly. I've been washing in my dishwasher in the low temperature cycles and till date the hot packs and casseroles are safe.
Hi Harsha, heat resistant plastic are dishwasher safe. You should only not put throw away, one time use and non heat resistant plastic in dishwasher. Certain plastic ware are safe to be washed in low temperature cycles. Even pet bottles should be washed only in programs below 50 deg C But Tupperware, most of Ikea plasticware and all heat resistant plastic can be washed in dishwasher. I've been doing it since ten years now without any damages. Hope this helps. Thanks for your viewpoint.
Hi Kamalinder, As per my own experience, I can say that LG is quieter. Also the respective websites mention the noise levels as below - LG - 45 dB (DFB424FP) a model recently launched by LG Bosch - 52 dB (SMS66GW01I) the current popular selling model What I have is an earlier model of Bosch and its noise level is 49 dB. Thanks.
Hi Sachin, Power consumption is different for different cycles. LG manual does not mention the power consumption cycle wise. Eco cycle is the cycle with least power consumption. Short cycles like turbo and express consume more power. Thanks.
Hello again Ma'am, I had another minor query for you. Have they mentioned anywhere in the manual/brochure/website about the energy efficiency rating of this device LG DFB424FP for example is it A+ or A++ or A+++ etc. I am unable to find this detail mentioned anywhere. Thanks in advance..
@@BhuvanaAdi Hello again Ma'am and thank you so much for your prompt replies. Another quick question for you Ma'am. The LG India website shows two variants of the same model DFB424FP and DFB424FW, the FW being cheaper by around INR 5000. On first glance one would say that FP is metallic brown so that's why the higher price while FW is white. So are the two variants essentially the same model performance wise & specification wise or are there any minor differences? Also does buying the metallic brown model (DFB424FP) have any distinct advantages? For example is it a longer lasting coating or anti-stain or easier to clean? Your thoughts & suggestions on this are requested. Thanks in advance.
@@mvramakrishnan9381 As far as I can see, FW is Blue White and FP is Silver. This is what I observed in LG India website. I did not see the brown mentioned anywhere. Features and specifications wise, both are identical. Only the colour is different. In almost all companies, the silver colour is always priced higher than white. Not sure of the exact reason. May be the front door panel is Stainless steel or chrome plated, etc. which gives it a more premium look than the white. Hope this clarifies. Thanks.
Hello Mam, I've watched all of your Bosch dishwasher videos. U explain everything so well. Saw ur LG dishwasher video today. Im planning to buy one. Will LG be the right choice over Bosch and Whirlpool models. Please guide. Just want to get the best one. Also wanted to know whether hard anodized pressure cookers and kadhai can be washed in a dishwasher?
Hi Aisha, when you compare to the current BOSCH models available in India, this LG model has very much advanced features because of which the cost is much higher too. With my experience of using it over a month, I would definitely say it has more features and functions. Cleaning is also excellent. You can decide based on your individual preference and budget. I cannot comment on Whirlpool as I have no experience of using it. Hard anodised (which are actually coating) kadhais and cookers are not recommended to be washed in dishwasher as the anodised coating will wear off over a period. You can at the most try washing them in low temperature cycle. Hope my answer helps you make a decision. Thanks.
Hi Yogita, that depends on your water quality. Generally for very soft water it is said that salt is not required. Also tablets usually have certain amount of salt and rinse aid. But sometimes this may not be enough especially if your water is hard. Many viewers use only tablets without salt and rinse aid. This is okay upto a certain level of water hardness. So decide based on your water quality and after observing your wash results for a few days. In case you plan to avoid using rinse aid and salt, you can set their levels to zero. I have posted a video on setting salt and rinse aid levels in LG dishwasher, you can watch that by clicking the link below: ua-cam.com/video/0o4Iq0Gx0J8/v-deo.html Also I've explained about which is better tablet or combination of detergent, salt and rinse aid, in my latest video, please watch that to clear your doubts, by clicking the link below: ua-cam.com/video/zw8le3B9w8s/v-deo.html Hope you find my reply helpful. Thanks.
I got this same model but was not happy with performance let me try and follow your inputs..u have one question is the tablet mandatory as the Lg technician it not mention .
Hi Vijaya, I don't know why you aren't happy with the performance. There are so many programs and options available. Try different options and note down which suits for your dishes and water quality. Based on your water hardness, adjust salt and rinse aid settings. I'm sure you will get very good results. Yes, please do watch the various videos on LG dishwasher which I've posted on my channel. Write to me in case of any other doubts. No, tablet is not compulsory. You can use detergent, salt and rinse aid. Thank you.
aunty thank you very much for your lovely and detailed review on lg dishwasher comparing with bosh after seeing this i bought lg next day it self and belive me iam a happy subcriber bec of you my wife got relaxed from washing duty thank you thank you very much ,so many have lot of miss conception on washers but you cleared it all in your videos. one main dout i bought crystale tablet and salt and rinseaid bec finish is very high rate ,may i know why you kept tablet on bottom i stead of keeping it in its tray, can also do same with my crystale tablet, for express should i use half tablet or 1 plz reply bye and HATS OFF for your job
Hi Rakesh, thanks for the compliment. I am humbled that my video helped me in clearing doubts about dishwasher and get one for yourself. Regarding keeping the tablet in the floor, there is nothing wrong, you can keep it inside the detergent compartment too. In Bosch there is a tray in the top rack handle into which the tablet falls from the detergent compartment and then it dissolves slowly. LG does not have this and it will fall directly on the floor once the detergent compartment opens at the start of wash. I just showed it that way because the manual mentions that way. Yes, for short cycles like express, you could definitely use half tablet as the full tablet will not dissolve and you will be left with soapy dishes. Thanks.
Hello ma'am hope ur doing well in dis time.....i wanted to ask u its more than 1 n half months m using dis machine lately m seeing white stain in my utensils my salt level and rinse level is in factory setup mode and i have filled d salt in d morning and how much time d salt will be retain by d machine for wash and second question do i have to increase d salt setting to higher level or should i wait m using finish brand
Hi Maushami, thanks for your enquiry. I'm fine. Can you please tell me your water hardness and which detergent you were using all these days? Were you using the same detergent before this as well?
@@BhuvanaAdi mam at d time of installation the kit which it came along showed dark purple but i used it in factory mode an it was giving me nice shiny utensils dnt know what happened now i have raised rinse setting to l3 but still problem is there kindly help
@@maushamisom6762 Can you share what is the mentioned against dark purple and what it means? It is quite likely your water is hard and hence you may have to increase the salt setting to suit the hardness. Increasing rinse aid will not remove white stain. White stain is due to hard water and keeping correct salt setting can help in removing it. In which cycles did you see white stains?
I already placed order for lg but Lil confused with my decision as Bosch 13 place setting model SMS46KI03I has a cutlery rack n my family is Lil big n will have more vessels Please suggest So that I can cancel lg and place order for Bosch
Hi @swapna sagar, I feel LG being 14 place setting it should be able to accommodate little more utensils than the 13 place Bosch dishwasher. The cutlery tray is mainly for very small flat katoris, spoons, ladles, knives etc. Of course that becomes the additional space. You can go for either one based on your budget and availability. Only issue LG has, as reported by many of my viewers, is that it goes to the very beginning of a program cycle when there is a power cut and does not start from the point where it stopped. So if you have power cuts frequently, this could become an issue. You could check whether LG have solved this issue. So you decide based on these.
We too are planning to go for LG Dishwasher. After using LG dishwasher after more than one year or so whether you still recommend to go for the same. What about service by LG? Thanks in advance.
Hi Arundhati, thanks. I do not have the LG dishwasher with me now. I have mentioned this as a disclaimer in the description. I had it for some time during which I made the videos. But, yes, it is a very advanced machine with lots of features and gives excellent cleaning too. But many of my viewers have reported that it does not have auto resume feature, meaning it does not resume from the same point but starts again from the beginning. So you have to keep this in mind. Especially if you are staying somewhere with lot of power cuts. Regarding LG, I have availed LG service for my washing machine and microwave oven. They are quite prompt and good. Thanks.
Hi Yashvi, my Bosch dishwasher is working and I'm still using it. I just wanted to buy a table top dishwasher so thati could use it and also make videos for the benefit of my viewers.
What to do if power goes of from main supply during operation of lg dishwasher dfb424fp model. Shall it start from the original time or from mid cycle at which the power goes off.
@Timir Mitra, the manual says the cycle will resume after a power cut. This is a very simple feature available even in simpler machines. But a lot of customers/users have complained that it starts from the beginning. What I have been informed is that every cycle has wash rinse and drying times and depending on when the power cut occurs (during wash period or rinse period or dry period) it starts from the start of the respective portion. Fortunately I have not had an opportunity to experience it till now. In case you are about to purchase, please get this doubt clarified well with the company marketing/sales/service team preferably with a demo. In case you are already have this dishwasher and are finding this problem, try to use shorter cycles more or choose times to operate the machine when you have uninterrupted power. Thanks.
There is an intensive mode program in which you can wash heavily soiled kadais. But because there is no scrubbing involved you will have to clean the grease stuck(which will become soft in the dishwasher) to the vessel after the cycle is completed.
Dear Madam, Thank you for your informative videos on the LG Dishwasher. A quick question - as per the specifications as well as images published on LG's website, the model - DFB424FP that you have reviewed includes a 3rd rack at the top as a cutlery rack; however, I did not find it in your videos. Is the information published on LG's website about the product incorrect or is there a different model which contains the 3rd rack? Your response as a user of this product will help me choose the right product and model.
Hi Siddartha, thank you. I am aware of this discrepancy on the third rack. Glad you have pointed out and asked. Yes the information given in their website is not accurate. There are some photos on the product page on the website that show a third rack but I think this must be of some other model. There are lots of photos of this model which does not show the third rack. And this model does not come with a third rack. I have seen similar discrepancies in photos of dishwasher models even on BOSCH website. I think they all must be using some standard photos for all models on their website. This could lead to confusion and doubt in the customer's mind. Hope this clarifies your doubt.
Bhuvana ji, I've read a lot of articles online that say the shorter cycles consume more water and electricity. Is this true? Have you taken any power measurements how much ampere hours are being consumed in various cycles? I have the same dishwasher (DFB424FP). i would love to get exact power consumption readings.
You're right Saurabh, short programs always consume more power and water. I've not monitored the power consumption in various programs. Even the manual gives only power rating.
Thanks. I think Wipro 16Amp smart plug allows monitoring power consumption. I'll buy such a product if possible to do some research for my own knowledge.
After every cycle whether with or without steam the inside will be very hot based on the program selected because the rinse temperatures range from 60 to 75 deg C. Once the cycle completes, you can safely open the machine after 5-10 minutes. But wait till the utensils cool down before handling them, because in case of steam cycles the utensils will be very hot.
Hi. You just need one 15 A plug point with proper earthing. For water, if you have front loading washing machine, same type water connection will do. If you are in doubt, you can provide a pipe like this given in link below - amzn.to/31sNPDm Thanks.

@Leena Maini, thank you. LG mein abhi sirf ek model hai. Usme quad wash, true steam hai, par third rack nahi hai. Actually mere hisaab main, third rack ki zaroorat nahi hai. Foreign mein jyaada spoon, fork, etc use karte hain, to unko wahan useful hai. Yahan third rack ke bina bhi use kar sakte hain, anyway cutlery basket hai, jisme saare cutlery rakh sakte hain. Agar aap ko third rack ek dum zaroori hai, to Whirlpool main 3rd rack hai. IFB aur Bosch main 3rd rack ke saath ek do models hai. IFB main ek model hai jisme steam aur third rack hai par quadwash nahi hai. Par mujhe IFB use karne ka experience nahi hai.To finally aapke zaroorat ke anusar kaun sa lena hai decide kijiye. Thanks.

We have recently purchased LG dishwasher today only we have switched it on but as soon as it is on within two minutes it is getting automatically off . Is there any solution to this Please if you how to solve this please inform us thank you
Hi Nirmala. Is it switching off before starting the program or after starting the program? After powering on, if you don't select a program and press start within 4 minutes, the power will turn off. You can see this in Page 24 of the manual. If this is happening after starting the program, then please call for service and have it checked. Thanks.
Hello ma'am. Your video was very through. Thank you. I have a query, another youtuber who bought this same model had heating element issue. HE error code showed up after a month. Did you face any such issues till date?
Mam, is there a difference in wash quality between Bosch dw and Lg dw. I have a Bosch and my parents have decided to buy one. So I would like to know ur opinion as to which is best.
@Daydreamer Day, hi! First of all sorry for the delayed reply. The LG dishwasher that I've shown in this video is very advanced and latest model. Other than wash programs there are many other special options like steam, high temperature and extra dry which enhances wash quality of dishes.. Especially the steam option gives excellent cleaning results. Also there are more holes in both the upper and lower spray arms, with additional 2 arms in the bottom. The quad wash (4 arms in the bottom), definitely has an edge over Bosch in terms of cleaning. This is my personal opinion. Hope this helps you. Like I've said in the video, I plan to upload more about this LG machine in the coming videos. So please keep looking out for the same in my channel. Once you get to know more about the machine, then you can compare and decide for yourself. Thank you.
@@AtulKumar-sw6fc Thank you so much for all the appreciation and praise. I am overwhelmed. I just did what I intended to do by sharing my experience to help people. Support from viewers like you keeps me motivated to try and make more useful content. Hi I am not using a stand for my dishwasher or washing machine. So I am sharing link of a stand which appears to be popular and lots of people have bought it. The price also appears reasonable. amzn.to/3qSaKAW Amazon fkrt.it/2pCkfsNNNN Flipkart Generally companies do not recommend stand but people buy and use them based on their need and requirement. This is the reason big companies do not make stand. However Bosch makes stand but it is priced higher than above stand. So you can choose based on your preference. amzn.to/2OSh1iL Bosch stand Hope this is useful. Thanks.
@hassan luby, It is difficult to reply in a single line. But putting it very briefly, LG has lot of advanced features and functions but is also expensive. And some users have complained about absence of auto resume feature. Bosch is a trusted German brand, and is famous throughout the world for rugged dishwashers. I myself am using for more than 9 years happily and can vouch for it. Beko is an international brand and is a popular budget dishwasher brand in Europe and West Asia. Finally you must remember that getting good cleaning in a dishwasher is dependent on many factors, not just the brand. Thanks.
I have tried Bosch, LG and Voltas Beko table top and they all have given me good cleaning. Based on my personal experience I can share that Bosch gives less complaints and is more reliable. Thanks.
Hi Mitali, LG has advanced features there are a couple of issues which many of my viewers have shared - program not starting from the point where it stopped during power outage, salt indicator blinking even if salt added, heating element problem. Not all face all these problems though. I do not have LG with me. I just got a chance to use it last year for 2 months from a friend during which I made the videos. I did not face any problem during the two months. So in case you decide to buy LG you've to get these clarified with the company, because it is priced at least 10-12K more than BOSCH. Bosch is a reliable and reputed German brand which has been there since decades. I am using BOSCH Dishwasher for the past 8½ years and am happy with the performance even with the limited programs. Final decision should be yours based on your budget, offers, service in your city and preference. Hope this helps. Thanks.
Dear Madam, Sorry to bother you again. I understand the machine specs are - Height - 34 inches, Width - 24 inches and Depth - 24 inches but if possible, could you please let me know how much clear space (in inches) is required to open the door of this dishwasher and pull out the racks fully?
@@BhuvanaAdi Just wanted to check if you had a chance to check the required space. I'm asking because the exact space I have from wall to wall is 56.5 inches.
Hi Siddartha, sorry for the delayed reply. I was waiting for the exact dimension sheet from LG but it has not come till date. I have measured my Bosch dimensions with door fully open and the LG dimensions should be almost identical I believe. The clear space required in front to open the door fully is about 23 inches. The total dimension from back of machine to end of fully open door is 47 inches. Assuming we have to leave at least 3 inches between the machine and the wall at the rear, I feel in your case, you will have about 6.5 inches between the wall and the open door. You will need to check whether this space enough for you to stand and load the dishwasher. The space I have in my utility room with door open is around 12 inches. Thanks.
Thanks for detailed video. Have one query about cycle resume after power failure. There are confusion that this feature not there even though mentioned in manual. Can confirm on this. Thanks
Hi Sharad, Yes the manual mentions that cycle will resume from same point after power cut. As I understand, if power resumes immediately within a few minutes, it is supposed to start from same point. If the power cut is a little longer, it is supposed to start from beginning of wash or rinse or dry depending on which part of the cycle power went off. But a lot of my viewers/users have shared recently that it does not resume from same point but starts from very beginning. Actually I did not have this problem when I used the machine last year during which I made the videos. And I do not have the machine now. So I am not sure whether this is a problem in the recent lot. I would request you to please verify this feature availability clearly with LG. Thanks.
Hello mam.....iam ur new subscriber.....can u plz tell the tablet should be in a compartment or just in the floor..?..plz reply..... ihave exact like that lg dishwasher
Aluminium gets blackened/tarnished in high temperatures when washed in dishwasher, hence manufacturers do not advise that. But I've been washing aluminium in low temperature cycles without causing any damage. But if the water is very hard, it's better avoided.
Thanku for all the information....I just brought Lg dishwasher....But not getting any dishwasher aid.... Is it ok to use it without salt for the first time

Mam I have this dishwasher but from last few days I am facing a problem. There are some rust spots on the stainless steel utensils. Can you please help me with this???
Hi Kalpana, can you please tell me what your water hardness is and your salt and rinse aid settings are? Also let me know what program cycle you usually use regularly.
Hi, Kalpna, If this is happening only in a few utensils, the problem could be in those utensils. They could be having higher iron content and if you wash in high temperature, these could show up as rust spots. If you scrub them with a brush they should go away. Try these in low temperature cycle and see the difference. A second possibility, the most likely culprit is the steam. Please wash without using steam option and check whether you find any difference. Your problem should get resolved. Thanks.
Hi Nayan, no I have not had an opportunity to test it. But every program has wash, rinse, dry durations and I understand that if there is power cut during wash period, then it resumes from start of wash, and if there is power cut during rinse, then it resumes from start of rinse and so on. Hope this clarifies. Thanks.
@@BhuvanaAdihi, did you get a chance to look at this? If the cycle starts from beginning after power cuts, then it's a big let down. What's your opinion/experience with other brands?
Hi Abhishek, this is as per LG recommendation for their latest dishwasher. Placing tablet not on compartment but on floor. This applies for all brand tablets being used in this dishwasher. Thanks.
Hi Reena, many LG buyers of late have reported the problem of machine not resuming from same point after power cut. I am not sure whether this issue is only in the current lot. I did not face this problem when I used the machine last year for 2 months during which time I made the videos. Normally it should resume from the start of wash, rinse or dry section depending on when the power goes. Thanks.
As mam said, it's not starting from beginning. It's resuming from the current cycle. For ex: Wash rinse and dry, if power trips by rinse, then it resumes from rinse cycle. So I don't see a problem here.
@Positive vibes, that's how it should work generally. And you're lucky if it is so. But it seems to depend on the length of the power cut from what viewers write to me.
Hi, is your water soft and gave you adjusted salt and rinse aid settings based on water hardness? Probably either detergent could be more or rinse aid. Or the selected programme may not be having proper rinse temperature. Please check all these during the next wash cycle.
Hi April Ryan, the technician who come to install the machine will download the ThinQ app and set up the wifi connection with machine. Watch the video on washing glassware in which I have shown the program being downloaded into the machine via the app. Sharing below the link of the video : ua-cam.com/video/OFDeiNkG1Cg/v-deo.html Thank you.

Tried to complain but due to lockdown no one is answering..Please if you can solve my query..Thank u in advance
Hi Parinita, you can see water droplets if you open the door immediately after wash is completed. But you leave it for 10-15 minutes and you will see all the dishes would be dry, as by that time the water droplets would have drained off the dishes. Please check this and see if you can find the difference. And thanks that my reviews helped you to buy a dishwasher and you're getting good cleaning results.
@@BhuvanaAdi Ma'am.. Thank you so much for your reply. Just for your information that my utensils come out dry immediately after wash but lots of water droplets can be seen interior / wall and baskets of the machine. I am sharing a photograph of the same for your guidance please.
Actually that is the way of drying, called condensation drying. The interiors cool faster and the water condenses and accumulates in the bottom. This is quite normal.
Hi, please set your salt level based on your water hardness. White stains are formed due to hard water. Correct hardness setting will help you get rid of this problem. May be your setting is low for your water quality. Increase the setting to a higher level.

Hi Saranya, thank you for your appreciative words for my video. Good that you've bought this machine and you're happy and tension free using this since 3 months. This machine is really amazing with so many programs and options and because of steam and the quad wash, the cleaning of dishes is excellent.. The only drawback being the length/time duration of each program. @@AtulKumar-sw6fc Thanks a lot Atul sir for your detailed explanation. Im sorry for a late response and thank you for your willingness to help. You replies are fair enough.
Thanks.
@@BhuvanaAdiji thank you so much for replying 🙏 mam.
Excellent video. Very informative. I dint even had to take a demo after buying the machine. Kudos and thank you!
Few Queries :
Answers to your queries :

My LG Dishwasher DFB424FP is barely consuming any Rinse Aid. In last 3 months, I would have used it for 200+ cycles. However,
Madam, thank you for the detailed videos. Does it come with a stand or is it set on the floor directly ?
Thank you.
No it does not come with a stand. You can directly place on the floor.
Very nicely explained. Thank you so much for the video. It helped us making up our mind on buying the correct model and also how to place the utensils for better cleaning.
Thanks Rupam Roy for liking the video and finding it helpful.
Bhuvana Adi You have got far better knowledge about LG dishwasher than LG technicians here in Bangalore.
🙏

How many place setting is this Lg dishwasher mam?which ingredients are good to use in this? Should v choose anything organic for cleaning?
Hi Latha, This is a 14 place setting dishwasher. If you mean the kind of dishes, you can wash stainless steel, ceramic, heat resistant glass, branded plastics which are marked dishwasher safe, Tupperware, etc. At the moment there are reputed branded detergents, etc available. I have not tried any organic cleaning agents and hence cannot comment on their efficiency. In case you wish to, you will need to search for such products online. Thanks.

I have a doubt that can we avoid rinseaid for very first time in lg washer, if the water is softened, and plz tell me that how to load machine very first time and what type of wash cycle should we use.... i am waiting for ur response to start my washer for very first time.
No if you skip rinseaid then you might not get the shining on utensils. If water is soft then u can skip salt. I hope i have clear u r doubt.
@@dheerajvaidya0712 tq
I am sharing the link of the full playlist below -

You could watch my detergent videos playlist for more info -

Fortune is good if you have hard water otherwise the choice would be Finish.

Hello mam, does the Dishwasher resumé after power outage? I have the same one but does not resume.
Wow..wonderful video..you have shown complete daily stain from Indian kitchen..extremely burnt kadai..milk pan with hard stain..please let me know the below points:
1. Which dishwasher is best IFB, Bosch or LG or other brands available in India

Mam we are using Vim tablets for our recently purchased LG dishwasher. Mam could you please clarify whether we can put 2 vim tablets At once for better cleaning
Hi Nirmala, there is actually no need to put 2 tablets for one cycle. Correct selection of program based on soiling on dishes is more important.
Thanks mam. It help me figure out how to keep the plates properly 😂😂 I wouldn’t have done it without the video
Compared to Bosch which has a condenser dryer, LG doesn't seem to have dryer as part of the spec. Post the cycle, how wet are the dishes?
Hi Sony Joy, LG too has condenser dryer. Post the cycle the dishes are slightly wet. But on leaving it for 10-15 minutes after cycle completes , the dishes become totally dry due to condensation drying. If you use Extra Dry option, the dishes come out very dry.
Hope that clarifies.
For this dish washer which liquid, salt and powder we have to use madam
Hi Srinadhuni, that depends on the hardness of your water supply. Different detergents work well for different water hardnesses. Thanks.
Pardon me for the lengthy query:
1) since you have used both Bosch and the new Lg DFB424FP, in your opinion which is the better dishwasher according you available today?
I will reply to all your queries to the best of my knowledge and experience:
1) The better dishwasher today is definitely LG DFB424FP. For the reason that it has some advanced and unmatched features -
- Quad wash (spray arm with 4 arms)
- Wider spray arms with more nozzles
- Water spray from the bottom of top spray arm
- Steam facility
- Digital touch panel with melody
- Over 60 program combinations
- Bottom rack can be made totally flat to accommodate only utensils.
- Wifi and smart diagnosis features (not necessary but useful)
Although BOSCH SMS46KI01 has a third rack for cutlery, the above features of LG more than make up for the absence of a third rack.
For the above reason, given a choice today, I would definitely buy LG DFB424FP or DFB424WP (both are same only colour is different)
Yeah BOSCH is generally a trouble free machine because of German technology which is outstanding and reliable.
Are both the racks completely removable? That would help in placing them on the kitchen slab while keeping vessels inside their respective drawers
Thanks.
Madam thanks for your video, can we keep silver utensils like water glass and plates. Kindly suggest us
Silver usually gets blackened in the dishwasher, so it is not advisable to wash in dishwasher. At the most they can be washed in a low temperature cycle (upto 40-50 degrees), but still you may not get the shine.
Thank you.
Thank u ma'am ...very usefull information

Mam's can you please suggest which is a good dishwasher for alluminim kadahis and cooker

Thanks.
Is there any tiny spots of rust forming on the dishes and on the inner tub of dishwasher?
Ordinary quality stainless steel tends to show some rust spots when washed in high temperature with steam.

Thank you.
@@AtulKumar-sw6fc Sir, how this cycle can be functional
Hello Mam could you please clarify if we can place a hot pack box ( covered outside with plastic and inside with steel) in the LG dishwasher or should we not keep plastic lunch boxes ?
I have understood about the box you've asked about. You can put those hot packs in any normal program without using additional functions like steam or high temperature.
Try out a couple of times, before you decide to do regularly.
I've been washing in my dishwasher in the low temperature cycles and till date the hot packs and casseroles are safe.
Please don't put it in dishwasher...inner container will loose n plastic is not dishwasher safe ..i have place one time and it damages..
Hi Harsha, heat resistant plastic are dishwasher safe.
You should only not put throw away, one time use and non heat resistant plastic in dishwasher.
Certain plastic ware are safe to be washed in low temperature cycles. Even pet bottles should be washed only in programs below 50 deg C
But Tupperware, most of Ikea plasticware and all heat resistant plastic can be washed in dishwasher.
I've been doing it since ten years now without any damages.
Hope this helps. Thanks for your viewpoint.
Hi ma’am ,which dishwasher is quieter--- LG or BOSCH?
Hi Kamalinder, As per my own experience, I can say that LG is quieter. Also the respective websites mention the noise levels as below -
LG - 45 dB (DFB424FP) a model recently launched by LG
Bosch - 52 dB (SMS66GW01I) the current popular selling model
What I have is an earlier model of Bosch and its noise level is 49 dB.
Thanks.
Hello dear I have to ask can we wash anodised aluminium utensils in this machine??
Hi Kanchan, anodised cookware loses its shine and the coating will peel off, on washing in dishwasher.
So it is not advisable to wash in dishewasher.
Hi ..i ve purchased lg dishwasher .would like to ask about power consumption per cycle as cycle timing is different..
Hi Sachin, Power consumption is different for different cycles. LG manual does not mention the power consumption cycle wise. Eco cycle is the cycle with least power consumption. Short cycles like turbo and express consume more power. Thanks.

Thanks.

In first wash I have used fourtne tablet in lg true steam dishwasher , do I have to use salt and rinse aid , Pl.suggest mam
I have posted a video on setting salt and rinse aid levels in LG dishwasher, you can watch that by clicking the link below:

Hi Vijaya, I don't know why you aren't happy with the performance. There are so many programs and options available. Try different options and note down which suits for your dishes and water quality.
Based on your water hardness, adjust salt and rinse aid settings.
I'm sure you will get very good results.

No, tablet is not compulsory. You can use detergent, salt and rinse aid.

aunty thank you very much for your lovely and detailed review on lg dishwasher comparing with bosh after seeing this i bought lg next day it self and belive me iam a happy subcriber bec of you my wife got relaxed from washing duty thank you thank you very much ,so many have lot of miss conception on washers but you cleared it all in your videos.
one main dout i bought crystale tablet and salt and rinseaid bec finish is very high rate ,may i know why you kept tablet on bottom i stead of keeping it in its tray, can also do same with my crystale tablet, for express should i use half tablet or 1 plz reply bye and HATS OFF for your job
Thanks.

I already placed order for lg but Lil confused with my decision as Bosch 13 place setting model SMS46KI03I has a cutlery rack n my family is Lil big n will have more vessels
Please suggest
So that I can cancel lg and place order for Bosch

@@BhuvanaAdi I asked as u gave demo of lg dishwasher.....so now u have 3 dishwasher
No. I had LG with me only for two months. I have only Bosch and Voltas Beko with me. LG was not mine, I took it from someone to make videos.
Thanks.
Can I wash heavy oily kitchen matirials .. like a meat or fish karadai ?
There is an intensive mode program in which you can wash heavily soiled kadais. But because there is no scrubbing involved you will have to clean the grease stuck(which will become soft in the dishwasher) to the vessel after the cycle is completed.
@@BhuvanaAdi thank you for your kind information

@@BhuvanaAdi Thank you very much for the super prompt response. This indeed clarified my doubt.
3rd rack comes in foreign model LG
That's great Saurabh. I am aware such things. Please share your results once you've done your research. Thanks.
After the cycle (with Steam enabled) ends, how much time should we wait before taking out the utensils assuming they must be very hot?
After every cycle whether with or without steam the inside will be very hot based on the program selected because the rinse temperatures range from 60 to 75 deg C. Once the cycle completes, you can safely open the machine after 5-10 minutes. But wait till the utensils cool down before handling them, because in case of steam cycles the utensils will be very hot.
i am thinking of buying it. Can u plz tell me what type of fitting ( Water and Electrical) are required for it and where........
Please answer......
Hi. You just need one 15 A plug point with proper earthing. For water, if you have front loading washing machine, same type water connection will do. If you are in doubt, you can provide a pipe like this given in link below -

Which one is best LG or Bosh or Volta's?
@hassan luby, It is difficult to reply in a single line. But putting it very briefly, LG has lot of advanced features and functions but is also expensive. And some users have complained about absence of auto resume feature. Bosch is a trusted German brand, and is famous throughout the world for rugged dishwashers. I myself am using for more than 9 years happily and can vouch for it. Beko is an international brand and is a popular budget dishwasher brand in Europe and West Asia. Finally you must remember that getting good cleaning in a dishwasher is dependent on many factors, not just the brand. Thanks.
@@BhuvanaAdi 1. Which machine cleans as well?
2. Which mission is not the most compliant?
I have tried Bosch, LG and Voltas Beko table top and they all have given me good cleaning. Based on my personal experience I can share that Bosch gives less complaints and is more reliable. Thanks.
I want to buy a dishwasher which dishwasher is the best? Pls reply me.. I am frm Assam (Nagaon)
So in case you decide to buy LG you've to get these clarified with the company, because it is priced at least 10-12K more
than BOSCH.
Hi Siddhartha, I'll get back to you in a day.
Thanks.
@@BhuvanaAdi Thank you, Ma'am. Really appreciate the efforts you're putting in to try and get the information for me.
Thanks.

Mam... is it useful for aluminium dishes?
Aluminium gets blackened/tarnished in high temperatures when washed in dishwasher, hence manufacturers do not advise that.
But I've been washing aluminium in low temperature cycles without causing any damage. But if the water is very hard, it's better avoided.
Thanku for all the information....I just brought Lg dishwasher....But not getting any dishwasher aid....
Is it ok to use it without salt for the first time
No Ujwala, it is not advisable to use the dishwasher without adding salt the very first time as this can damage the water softening system in the nmachine.

Thanks.
Mam is auto restart function in the machine available. Did u tested that??
Hi Nayan, no I have not had an opportunity to test it.
@@BhuvanaAdi mam, I see the utensils are slightly sticky after washing in dishwasher. Did anyone face that?

Mam this model auto restart or not
Hi, actually the manual says that it should start from wherever it stopped. But nowadays many people have written to me that their machine does not start from where it stopped. You have to check with the company.
What are the exact dimensions (in inches) of this dishwasher? Height, depth & width please..
Hi Maya K, The dimensions are

depth 600 mm
width 600 mm
