- In this video, we show you the ferry crossing with DFDS Ferries from Dover, UK to Calais, France. You can also see the White Cliffs of Dover from the Ferry. It's a great way to travel to Europe especially as you avoid airport line ups etc and you get to discover something new.

I like traveling by sea. I went on one of the largest ships once and a hurricane nearby was making it move a lot which made it hard to walk but good times haha Nice tour of the Ferry 50

I rode the ferry a few weeks ago. I noticed the line for fish and chips became quite long in a hurry.
I didn't see any Fish and Chips on the ferry but I suppose it is great for their business.

Hi guys. Nice video. We are going to cross the channel on the 26th October. Do you think that 30 minutes would be enough to check in ?
We've never chanced it and always left with lots of time. We always followed the advice of the ferry operator who will tell you when to check in. Many factors come to play as well. For instance isn't it half term now in England? So it may be busier than normal. DFDS Ferries have been quite nice with us and let us go on an earlier ferry to Calais when we were early...not sure if they would allow you to go on a later one if there isn't enough time. Have a good crossing.

taking ferry may not be as fast as eurotunnel but it so much more nicer and cheaper thats why i always travel by ferry
