      I used to suffer from anxiety and then I cut sugar out of my diet and my anxiety levels dropped significantly. When I wake up in the morning I honestly wonder where it’s gone. I’ve since done a lot of research and have found out how much sugar affects the serotonin and dopamine and neurotransmitters. I had no idea about it. If you ever get to read this I hope it helps

    The frog-croaking audio transition between each section in the video was a nice touch. It repeatedly reminds the viewer of the destination (France). LOL 😆

    I'm so glad I watched this before booking a ticket! I find Ferry ports unnecessarily confusing, almost seems deliberate. But compared to the route you had to take at Folkstone, i think I'll take the Ferry. The only benefit I see is that your car is less likely to get damaged on the train (if you avoid the high likelihood of an accident before getting on the train) than it is on the Ferry. You still have to park up and wait to be called.
    Overall it may still be quicker but is it worth the extra cost and stress....

    • @londonwalker3362
      @londonwalker3362  4 місяці тому +1

      Thanks a lot for watching. I haven't tried the ferry yet, so I'm unable to do fair comparison. Maybe I should try next time. :)

      On the booking confirmation email, I was advised to arrive at least 1 hour but no more than 4 hours before the booked departure time. Hope it helps.

    Thanks for the video, you have answered to many of my questions 😁 have you ever been much earlier than you booked the ticket? Is it possible to go earlier or you need to wait for your booking time? 🤔

    • @londonwalker3362
      @londonwalker3362  3 дні тому +1

      Thanks a lot for watching. I think you can drive to the terminal much earlier than the time they suggest, but it doesn't always mean you can depart earlier than scheduled. The check-in machine would only give you several departure options that are within your departure window. I guess you may need to pay extra if you want to check in for other trains departing too early or late than your booked one, only if there are available slots. It is why I seriously consider to buy the Flexi+ for my summer holiday this year, as I mentioned in another video of mine - FYI ua-cam.com/video/-Bi0MpKMBhU/v-deo.html

    I'm curious on what you do when you get on the train. Do you just sit in your car for the duration of the journey?

    • @londonwalker3362
      @londonwalker3362  3 місяці тому +1

      I think most people (including me) just stay in their cars, but you can use the toilet facility or stand outside your car if you want. As it takes only half an hour for crossing and you should immediately drive out once you arrive, you wouldn't find anything else to do really. :)

    Good and especially educational video on how to drive onto the train to Calais with a passenger car with or without a trailer/caravan.
    I myself have been able to do that for several years in a row, sometimes 3 times a week with a truck/Lorrie, which is a completely different story, ha ha, so as a driver you are not allowed to stay in your cabin, in contrast to passenger car transport.
    Here is a short impression of how I rode onto the train at the time, if the link can remain for a while, I don't want to hijack any viewers or something like that. that is not the intention, but this gives a different view of transport through the tunnel from Folkesone to Calais and vice versa.

      Depends on which. We have just compared both for our holiday and both were around £120, but that is dependant on what times you book and how far in advance.
