They fouled Brighton 20 times in one game. Sorry, discipline issues or as a directive to slow down play the issue is there - LFC commits too many tactical fouls

The only one I concede is the Jota card. You’re bringing up tactical fouls like that’s the reason we’ve received Reds, it’s led to literally one red card on Jota. Stop waffling

They throw a ton at the wall to see what sticks initially... spending a lot for sure, but did stay up. This season they bring in Sangare, Dominguez to add midfield quality then Callum Hudson Odoi and Elanga combined cost just 13-18M with add ons. Their initial business was haphazard but thickest clubs in the market? They're sat in 13th, having played Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal ALL away from home in their opening 8 games, and have Luton at home next... which you'd imagine lifts them to 10-11th. In their second season, to call them thick... seems like an emotional reaction to them signing a lot of players in their first season... they've obviously done smart business to progress so quick.
Worth noting that Liverpool have had a very tough start to the season - 5 away games (including Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton and Spurs) and only 3 played at home so far. Also as mentioned, they're playing with a brand new midfield, which will (or should) only improve as they become more used to one another.

Striker market is always a potential overpay market, but right now the high end keeper's are in high demand. There aren't many capable of playing both the sweeper keeper+ start of build up phase ball player, who can also combine that ability with impressive post shot xG stats. Bayern simply couldn't find a keeper to stand in for Neuer with, and that absence of quality in the market hasn't resolved itself yet. There's potential for some major transfer errors from big clubs.

Never understood the logic behind Bournemouth buying Fevre for like 15 mill and sending him immediatelly on loan to France. Spending that kind of money and not using the player right away seems foolish for a club like Bournemouth
They have sinisterra on loan this season who would of cost 15 or more, then replace him next season with faivre

He might improve them, but the 80 mil fee is way overpriced he should be available in the 40-50 range. 11 of his 32 goals in the Prem were from penalties. This is over two seasons in 68 matches. He is also 27 when most of the high fees are for young players
when will people stop looking into stats from 7 games with Liverpool considering they play with 10 men 50% of the time, its such nonsense to look at defender activity and shots conceded when you get two red cards in a game. The red cards so far have all been shambolic bar van Dijks against Newcastle. Jones you could argue should be red but in no way does it seem like the type of challenge that should go from yellow to red unless you get shown a 10second still of Jones' studs on the ankle like they did with the ref. I have tons of confidence in Liverpool to finish 2nd this year and even mount a title challenge depending on City's form from now on

KK they managed to offload for a decent return, Aubas also gone so his wages are also out. Chelsea don’t need another striker, it’s getting better, when was the last time Chelsea had scored 4 goals, ok it was Burnley but they are our bogey team we always mess up against them and didn’t this time. We have Nkunku coming back who can play up front, especially with our other players coming back from injury he’s most probs not going to end up as our No.10 with Gallagher and palmer who play there, chuck is coming back, it’s probably better if we don’t get another striker

Pat is not really a good guy to have in these discussions imo. He has a real lack of enthusiasm and also too many biases. I still don't get what he has against Liverpool and Nottingham Forest. Not a forest fan, but if you take away the fact that they just signed a lot of players, most of those players are really good. And still people say their approach is not good.
They say Chelsea are likely to make a mistake in the transfer market, yet since the new directors have come in, they have pretty much no misses. Caicedo looking amazing, Palmer looking great, Sanchez top 3 GK statistics in league, Disasi been solid, etc.
