The movie only mentions Alice and Edwards powers but Jasper has the power to feel and mess with peoples emotions which is why he looks like he's always in pain when in school since he's surrounded by humans and has to deal with not only his bloodlust but also every other member of the families bloodlust yet he can't do anything about it
So far we’ve watches twilight 1-3 it’s cool to learn about their powers and backstories
For context, that no one had until Midnight Sun came out: Edward is literally plotting the best way to kill Bella (and everyone in class bc witnesses) during their first class together bc she smells so good to him. Yay, romance 😂

The concept of the vampires are completely different than what most people are used to. So like when they become a vampire their facial structure shifts in ways to make them like angels but also predators. And its interesting because humans can revert in an animal type nature given the type of situtation. Next their sent, voice and face attract people rather they like it or not. Which goes with what their made of. Their body erupts into different kinds of material, ice, minerals and diamonds. It goes with the myth of why they can't go out in to the sun light, why they don't need to breath, why they're so strong, and why they can pierce through skin without needing fangs. But here's the really interesting part, when they're torn apart they look hollow dolls. It kinda symbolizes how dolls attracts people and how beautiful they look. But the hollow part resembles their existence. Dolls never age, and their emotions are always beneath the surface.

Just a note on the actors, the young lady playing Angela also played Rosita on The Walking Dead. She's really good in that. If you haven't watched it, you should. I lived in Washington State for 12 years. The author picked Forks because it had the most days of cloud cover in the lower 48. It caused serious sinus issues with the molds out there, moved to Montana. 😂

I'm thrilled y'all are watching the Twilight Saga, my roommate and I binged these movies constantly in college and it was always fun to just relax and laugh and enjoy the movies! Great reaction, can't wait for the next one! ✨😊
So in the book they mentioned that the vampires have this thing where sometimes they find their mate for life. Basically like they find their magical soul mate and are bound to them. It makes sense because vampires are frozen in time, usually in pain for eternity. So the only thing that would fill them is an eternity of love. The majority of the time they fall for another vampire who feels the same way . And they literally can't be apart from each other. It's love beyond comprehension. And it's rare that a human could be capable of this kind of love. This is actually what every member of the Cullen family went through, Alice with Jasper, Rosalie with Emmet and Carlisle with his wife. It's similar to how animals find their mate and when one of the partners gets ripped away from the other, they both feel agonizing pain.

Absolutely. The way jasper controls the situation (and a lot of situations they get into) is so interesting in the books and I get that it's something that would have been hard to fully capture in the movies so I understand why they left it out but I do wish they would have hinted to the way jasper makes them look to their opps- especially how he makes Emmett look like this hulking, earthshattering force. Emmett is tough on his own but Jasper makes him look 10 feet tall.
These vampires are some of the strongest vampires ever no weaknesses to wood,silver,bullets and can reattach limbs and sunlight doesn’t kill them and they have powers.
Usually Twilight reactions are chaotic but you two are so cute, chill and funny. It was great to watch.

I am so excited to have you watch this. This is a series, and the books, I have watched and read too many times to count. My obsession with Twilight started when my teenage daughter asked for the books for Christmas.
Fun facts: Did you notice, or did anyone mention that Edward (Robert Pattinson) is the same actor who played Cedric Diggory in Harry Pitter and the Goblet of Fire?
Robert Pattinson also sings two songs in this movie. Once when they are at the restaurant and the other when he is sucking the venom out at the ballet studio.
In the books almost all the guys asked Bella to the prom. Edward could read their minds, so he knew they were going to do it. He even held up traffic in the schools parking lot to allow one of them to do it. Also in the books, it was Ben (who was not in the movies) that Angela liked and wanted to go to the prom with. Edward saw in Angela’s mind that she liked Ben, so he and Emmett (who had a Spanish class with Ben) staged a conversation where Edward pretended he wanted to go to the prom with Angela, but she likes some guy name Ben, also pretending not to know Ben was sitting next to him. It’s actually a funny scene in the books.
I would like for you to check out other movies with Robert Pattinson. To name a few…The Batman from 2022, Good Time, The River, The Lighthouse, Tenet. He is really a good actor.

Washington is the place to be this last summer. Check the weather for 2023. We got hot a couple times but we survived without AC all summer.
Next Edward Cullen analysis. Right off the back u can tell he is antisocial and shy. And he was probably like this when he was human. Becoming a vampire makes it difficult because you're in a new body with new impulses that could lead to destruction and no one can really stop you. So he has to have constant self control. Kinda like your kryptonian but with a bloodlust. And everyone wants to be around him because they're drawn to him. But because he can read minds he can probably find out what they're thinking to find ways to tell them to get lost. But because of what he is he's always alone. Even in his family he's alone in the beginning because everyone has someone except for him. So when he finds Bella, yes he's happy but a piece of him is hoping that she'll leave because he doesn't want her to feel the misery of being a vampire. Like even though he knows he'll never drink her blood because of how much self control he has over himself more than other vampires, he still makes jokes about it because a tiny piece of him is hoping that she'll leave.

In the first Twilight film Bella( Kristen Stewart) was 17 while Edward (Robert Pattinson) was 24. Stephanie Myer wanted to be cautious about who was casted as Edward since Kristen Stewart was underage. Edward’s eyes were black when they met because he was hungry. When Bella was near the fan, her smell made him want to feed on her right then and there. Some scary movies to react to are Saw, Insidious, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Leatherface ( Prequel to Texas Chainsaw Massacre).
If you ever watched the walking dead, the girl in the glasses is Rosita.
Twilight is my favorite. I’m a 40 year old mom who watches it often. It’s nostalgic for me. Is it a good movie?? No! It’s so cheesy and terribly written but the casting is perfection and really keeps you interested in it. I super dislike new moon(the next one) but they get so good after that, imo

I love Twilight, I was a mega fan at the time. It's embarrassing and cringe, but I love them anyway. It's genuinely laughable at times, "you better hold on tight, spider monkey" "you're my person brand of heroin" etc. lol The one thing I can say though is that the soundtrack is great throughout the series. If you like nothing else, you'll at least like that? hahaha
if you've never seen blade its a must for early 2000s vampire movies, also for some insite as a native american reservations were and still are the "replacement" of the land that was stolen from them and wrongfuly attempted to be genocided from the population

yes forks is real and its super west along the coast (fun fact bellas house is on airbnb)
yes the landscape is like that but we have many different climates and landscapes do to the mountains (example we got forests, lakes, mountains, deserts etc.) but where they are at its SUPER forested and pretty accurate
there is a blue hue but its NOT that intense
it does get cold but depends on the area your in the severity of the cold we are no where near like the midwest or canada level of cold
if the sun is out its good weather XD
I mean vampire diaries is good, but I think he would really like the originals. It's more "mature" 😊

Next there's Bellas character. Bellas extremely similar to Edward. She's extremely shy, she's clumsy, and she hates the attention being on her. But it's unfortunate because everyone is always trying to talk to her, be friends with her, or date her. But everyone miss judges her. So she never fits in not even in her own family. I think she only hangs out with her friend group at school because they don't miss judge her as much as other people. However she's extremely mature and perceptive. So she figures out ways to divert the conversation or situation to somewhere else. Like when Mike asks Bella out in the first movie she knew that Jessica was jealous so she diverted Mike's attention to Jessica. The only people that actually understood bella were the Cullen. That's why her only best friend was alice. When edward first met her. He was intrigued because he couldn't read her mind, she was an outsider like him, and could also tell what people were thinking in her own way. But he also disliked her because to vampires her blood smells better than any other human. And he hadn't fed in awhile.
