Sam is absolutely my favorite. Even though he hesitated when he was giving the ring back it was very quick. His main sense of hesitation was having to burden Frodo with it again. So even then his thoughts were pure.

The shire is a large geographical area made up of different towns. Frodo, Sam and bilbo lived in Hobbiton, Merry lived in Buckland and Pippin lived in Tookland. They were all a lot younger than Frodo who was about 50 when they went off on the quest. Almost 20 years passed from when Gandalf left Frodo until he came back to tell him he has to leave.

I was lucky enough one of the local people that got to play a con in the yard. The premiere of the movie was held at Mansfield ‘s Renaissance theater A restored 1929 movie palace. Then it had premieres in New York and Los Angeles. On a sidenote, crows from about seven counties come in to Mansfield to live the winter. There are hundreds of them sometimes. I’m glad you enjoyed the movie. I’m now 75 with Parkinson’s, so I watch a lot of reactions on UA-cam since it is hard for me to go to the movies.
