Whatever the criticism is regarding Nicki’s verse whether it be a verse or something else you didn’t like or get, it doesn’t matter lol. The time spent on Nicki’s verse alone just proves her presence on the track is what gained the most attention. Ain’t nobody listening/replaying this song for the Migos or Cardi. Without Nicki all you’ll have is mediocre lines and a ghostwriter showin off. If we talking about actual talent and delivery, they ain’t touching Nicki. She did them a favor by agreeing to hop on this track. Nicki saved the track.
I definitely agree with this but Cardi deserves respect for her performance. She’s all personality and good performer. Maybe she’s not a super talented writer/lyricist, but she’s a great recording artist.
