They are also schizophrenic because they say the line in intro I think "we have the whole world in our yard to explore" so this is imagination and in school in recess u have time to go out in the playground and in mental hospitals u have time to go in the yard for leisure time and in every episode there is always a strange figure in white uniform or smth watching them through windows so they might be the doctors or nurses at the mental hospital they are also kids so they don't have any permission of elders to go anywhere and animals can't talk so ever thing is just imagination
