@@jessicabuais Thank you for the feedback! It's too long to share all of the details for a recipe in the description but I do share to my blog when I can. Cheers!
Nice video! Great to see the progress and improvements to your videos over time! Love how you're being more of a personality vs. purely focusing just on the overhead shots of prepping the treats. Keep it up!
Thanks so much positivity and kind words Kevin! I really appreciate you watching my videos and also noticing the changes that I’ve been making a little over time. :)
Hi Rox, I’m making this and followed your link to your black cocoa cake but what size recipe am I following (I took a screenshot of the ingredients and measurements) - is it the sheet cake size and I’m using a 13X9 pan?
This is amazing! Thank you for sharing. I plan to make it for my son’s birthday. When you carve the rocket shape, is the cake frozen? If so, how long do use freeze it for before carving it?
I’ve never done this before but I bet if you create canal on one half of the cake, add the cream and then attach the cream side to the cake board so it holds - it should stay together.
Hello, do you have a write up for this? I'd love to bake this this week but wonderful how much cake batter I need for the planets and the black cake. Thank you.
Thank you for this question! I’m actually launching a blog next month which will share written recipes for occasions like this :). In the mean time I have the recipes in separate videos on my channel.
Hi Rox.. please help me, I'm new to baking.. if I'm using a six inch pan , then how much cup of flour do I need and what should be the time and temp of cooking with the cake pops inside????? Need help at the earliest...planning to bake on kid's bday.
😊 I noticed you are commenting on the rocket ship cake but mentioning a 6” pan. Have you seen these two videos? ua-cam.com/video/C60L3tuDYws/v-deo.html, ua-cam.com/video/GrMHaLalLOM/v-deo.html. Just trying to figure out what you’re working with so I can help you (:
@@RoxStarBakes so sweet of u to reply...I'm planning a galaxy cake with cake pops inside.. I want to bake two cakes separately..in a 6 inch pan then I will frost and stack one on the other. I'm just incorporating the cake pops in my round cake pan. So want to know the temp and time for baking the main cake with the cake pops inside.

Nice video. May I know how you removed outer crust of cake pops you used as planets . I see it has brown coat but in video you removed outer crust . How to remove without disturbing round shape ?
First! I love your Goku Super Saiyan pic - I love DBZ!!! Next!! Thank you for watching the video!! I haven't experienced that the planets get dry. Science isn't exactly my thing but I feel like osmosis is the best way to explain why it doesn't get dry - "a process by which molecules of a solvent tend to pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one, thus equalizing the concentrations on each side..." [found the definition via Oxford dictionary]. Since the outside batter is moist, it doesn't over dry. If you like! You could use simple syrup or milk to moisten your cake before filling and frosting if you're concerned (:! Also, tip - when you're baking and you check if the batter is done with a skewer, it's okay to have 5-7 crumbs on the skewer. It continues to cook once out of the oven. Once cool enough, you could wrap with plastic wrap and freeze until you're ready to use it. It keeps the cake moist and helps further develop flavor. I hope this helps!! 😊
So excited to share this cake! Let me know if you have any questions :)

Mine are ready when the light goes off but I've found 4 minutes is great. Thank you!

Hi! Where can I find a serving surface like that?! It’s perfect! Thank you.
It’s the back of a baking sheet I purchased from TJMaxx 😃

😊
Can you please what size the cake pan
And can I fill the inside cake with cream
It’s a 13x9 but you could use a smaller rectangle cake pan if you’d like and make a smaller proportioned cake. Thanks for watching :)
Do you mean like an additional surprise inside? I’ve never done that before. Is it because you’re worried about the moisture of the cake?
Yes my kids love cream inside cake thank you so much for answering 😊

Thank you so much. I don’t remove them. You won’t see them once you’ve made the cake. Thank you for the question.
Very creative and unique recipe👌🏻👌🏻💯
Does the prebaked cake planets and stars get dry when baked again? How to keep them soft textured afterwards?
