They should do one season with kids are grown up and the start of the first episode would be Judith & RJ standing and looking down at Rick & Michonne's headstone.
i think they will end it in the daryl dixon spinoff with it somehow having some sort of final war in europe. An idea I thought was maybe after Carol goes there which she obviously will, maybe by then theres some sort of huge threat with Genet's people or some other sort of organization and maybe Carol communicates it back to home and some of our main cast (including rick hopefully) comes to europe and thats where our final thing is. (I would imagine something like this happening not until season 4 or 5 of daryl dixon and maybe im stupid for even thinking this could be a possiblity)
GOOOOD video and topic, Dan! All popular shows end. Hopefully TWD ends the same way, as you said, "real." And hopefully this ending is closure to the stories, and before AMC pulls the plug.
AMC say The Walking Dead is a universe… and we have a plan to manage over the next decade, plus. That plan is a careful plan to respect the world of the fans of that world. 💯💯
In a few years they really need to do a big crossover event to end this TWD universe. Reunite everyone for one last battle... then AMC could do other shows in the TWD Universe unrelated to these characters cuz I know this asset is very valuable to them
Similar to how the MCU ended with endgame. It felt final but now the MCU can do the next big story for fans like me who are still watching past end game
Gimple and the fans are also responsible for the current situation of the show, the majority of twd fans only care about one thing, keep to watching their favorite character regardless of the quality, and Gimple is only interested in milking this as much as he can. If this show ever ends, its ending will not be remembered because no one watches the show, especially after the TOWL fiasco.
I stuck through the bad seasons of TWD and FTWD and I was paid with bad endings. I don’t believe AMC actually cares about the universe but more its profits. I can’t even bring myself to watch the Rick show as I dont have the patience anymore
Okay AMC Networks President of entertainment Dan McDermott Said: it’s a truly exciting for The Walking Dead Universe. This next phase of our beloved Walking Dead Franchise promises to engage and faithful viewers. So AMC Networks president and Scott M Gimple say this is phase 2 of TWDU just like MCU. 💯🔥💯🔥 Tbh Dan The Walking Dead Universe and This Franchise will never end no time soon to me.💯💯🔥🔥 because of biggest fan base in TWD and trying their best to be the next MCU that the problem. Scott m Gimple wants more spinoffs too so it will never end no time soon fr💯💯🔥🔥
they should've had them come back with reunions at the series finale. The TOWL would be what happened. I will keep saying it missed the opportunity with Gabriel reunion when They reunited with Judith and Rj
Try 3-5 years. I doubt it will last that long for both Dead City and Daryl Dixon. I do think both will get between 3-5 seasons, but they will likely have to get working on the crossover series quickly from AMC pressuring them.
let's face it more walking dead spinoffs are coming, and they'll be more connected to the other shows and l'm a massive TWD fan. New Season Teased, CRM Spies & New Walker Hordes and can't wait for next week at SDCC for TWDU fr.
I love this idea! End the characters we know by 2027 or 2028 and then have the younger generation take over for however long to lead the next era of this universe.
I desperately want them to end the main stories of Rick, Michonne, Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Negan and Morgan. I think they should have some crazy shit go down and then have them all settle down in either Alexandria or the Commonwealth. Have cameos from people like Eugene, Gabriel, Ezekiel, Aaron, etc... I think at that point they announce a brand new series led by Judith and costarring Lydia, Elijah, Hershel, Gracie, RJ, Mo, Ginny, Coco, etc... and have it be (for all intents and purposes) a brand new series. What would be great about this is that we know the backstories of these characters and have grown to love them deeply. We could even see the past cast in cameos to help build the kids' storyline. I would love to see the main story of these characters that we have been watching for 15 years come to a genuine conclusion and then see them hand the reigns over to the young cast. I am not sure what the story could be, but if they do it correctly, I think it could be great. Maybe make Danai Gurira the show runner lol. Thoughts?
Dan like you always say in your videos that you would say about the walking dead as a whole an I agree with you the showrunners should have just let rick and Daryl reunite in the series finale of the walking dead so Daryl goes goes off on his Motorcycle on that mission that Maggie told him to do about finding new community's so that fans don't have to wonder when rick and Daryl are going to reunite cause they would have already reunited in the finale
Thanks for watching guys!
Amazing Video Dan, I Think It Will in 5 or 6 Years.

Come on Dan we both know we're all gonna be watching this till we're dead 😂

AMC will never let this franchise die
We’re all just addicted hoping we’ll get the same high as seasons 4-6
That’s the million dollar question
It’s sure is
Crossover series will be the ending.

Everything I've been thinking as a fan too. Things being set up that are never concluded...annoying.
Happy Friday Dan.

I like the spin-offs but your absolutely right it still feels like the main story I want a real ending amc isn't gonna go for this for another 15 yrs
I think they will. At least end the characters we know now before doing other spin offs on newer characters

How can you be "forced" to watch a show 😭

PT channel says twd universe is on life support now
He can be a bit negative
