The riddler's obsession with the song was because he sang it as a child at thomas wayne's announcement event. The pictures on his wall show he was there, and the kids were singing it in the video batman and gordon watched at the burnt out orphanage.
Man I know you’re literally based on reactions but you should’ve saw this in theater literally insane experience at the very beginning with that fight and everything is impactful
The very beginning scene with _someone_ watching the apartment from across the street had the whole theater hushed when I saw it. And the tension of the build up to the reveal of the car was amazing.
Edward sang Ave Maria in the boys' choir, at the event where Thomas Wayne announced the Renewal Fund, and his mayoral candidacy. That's why Michael Giacchino's Riddler theme is basically Ave Maria, that's why it plays at the beginning, and that's why he sings it at Batman. Not really to him, but very much at him.
"So the job's available then?" I like how you're looking out for Gordon's upward mobility. Probably my favorite Batman film, though I must always give due props to The Dark Knight, for Heath Ledger's performance. Colin Farrell was great in this, as was Pattinson and Dano. Hoping for a sequel. Great photography and soundtrack in this, and the writing, particularly the intro, is wonderful.
Honestly it's hard for me to compare this to the dark knight trilogy. I think this is definitely the best adaptation of Batman we've had from a comic book level.
I've heard a lot of comments, from a lot of folks, about Selina missing Falcone, so it's not just you. But Falcone is excellent at ducking, leading me to believe Selina may have inherited her catlike reflexes from him. But more importantly, it's just very easy to miss a moving target, especially with a handgun. It's like when people say 'Why don't criminals just shoot at Batman's mouth?' For all we know, a lot of them may be trying to! haha Guns aren't magic, and a lot of handguns aren't even terribly accurate, at anything but point blank range. Riddler has a much better setup, to eliminate Falcone. A rifle, on a tripod, with a scope, carefully zeroed in on a stationary target.
The meta aspect of the "vengeance" mindset is fantastic, too. This feels like Mat Reeves walked out of Batman v. Superman going, "I have some thoughts." This movie truly understands both Batman from the comics and the conversation around his adaptations going all the way back to Batman Returns. It says, in my opinion, what the fans have been trying to say for years.
This movie was such a trip. I jumped on it when it came out and 3 hours later I was really wanting more. So here's to hoping they greenlight a sequel. I also recently replayed the 1st Telltale Batman game, and I have to ask: did anybody else see the parallels to that game and this movie? Selina Kyle's and the building of a hospital arc stood out to me as similiarities in the story. Martha being part of the Arkham family is also an interesting addition to the story. EDIT: As for the injures, I will grant you Batman's chin. Alfred managed to throw the bomb far enough away that it looks like the table would deflect most of the flames. As for the mayor, she was definitely hit, as you can see her put her hand on her hip just after Gordon pulls her behind the stage.
The mayor also was receiving treatments and getting bandaged up by medics (who were most likely on standby since the police was there and they are aware that there’s a flood as well as an attack happening. However, I think she got hit on the shoulder not her hip. I agree with you on Alfred, he did recognize it was a bomb and threw it as far away from him as he can, so the table or furniture that was around possibly shielded him from getting burned badly. Either way he mostly got knocked out and got some bruises from the explosion. As for Bruce…yeah he should have gotten burned on his chin or cheek or something. He was literally in front of the bomb. 😂
Other parallels to the Telltale Series include Penguin being nicknamed "Oz", Thomas having dealings with Falcone in the past(Also implied but never confirmed in "Gotham" and one of the exchanges between Bruce and Carmine is lifted directly from "The Long Halloween" graphic novel which also influenced "The Dark Knight"),Selina being Carmine`s daughter like in "The Long Halloween" animated film,Joker already being in Arkham as a John Doe prisoner and being more of a toxic friend of The Batman than the enemies they traditionally are,Riddler being named Edward Nashton and having a connection to Gotham`s past which motivates him to try to expose corruption in the city`s government and getting involved with copycat terrorists in the process.
I love so much about this film. I like how Riddler is inspired by Batman, which I think does a good job illustrating the cons of vigilantism. I like that there's goons in this film, from the Joker boys on the train to the Riddler clones. I like that Batman has limited tech, he's still learning. Pattinson is great. Everyone is really. I'm really excited for what's next.
Movies that inspired The Batman cinematography and character relationships... The french connection, klute, taxi driver, all the presidents men, chinatown, manhunter, last days, se7en, zodiac, good time, the godfather, the conversation...... Comics that influenced are Batman: the long halloween, Batman: shaman, Batman: zero year, Batman: year one, Batman: year two, Batman: ego and other tales, Batman: dark victory, Batman: no mans land
This movie was incredible. It was a graphic novel come to life. Entire cast was amazing. Hoping we get a trilogy like Matt Reeves wants. Pattinson is so good. Check out his movie Good Time ot the Lighthouse. Both are great.
Many many plotholes and 'style over substance' moments that stand out when you get over the initial sensory overload from a beautifully shot film. Not some flawless masterpiece people have been saying it is, but an enjoyable film nonetheless.
@@kevinmatthew1050 Well I didn't say major plotholes but I can give you a few issues off the top of my head and bare in mind I give comic book stuff a lot of slack however this film really kind of bills itself as a more serious crime/thriller flick so. The pictures Riddler took of the corrupt officials etc were all from the same angle/spot outside of the club/Falcone's yet Batman, who is shown to be obviously very intelligent and picks up on clues, never realized this somehow. No one at the drug/money drop with Penguin heard the extremely brutal and loud batmobile pull up right next to the operation nor Salina's motorcycle. For absolutely no reason the corrupt cop still has Annika's corpse in the trunk of his car. Batman then essentially allows Penguin to get away, leaving Gordon/Catwoman there alone against multiple armed thugs, leading to a giant car chase with giant explosions that likely left multiple innocents seriously injured or killed when he could have either A. caught the penguin at the money drop or B. catch him later. This was all done in service of having that chase scene and the badass upside down shot of him walking up to Penguin - style over substance. You could justify this better if you framed it in the sense that Batman is so obsessed he let his thirst for "vengeance" blind him from all else - leading to the recklessness, IF you had one small scene of someone just acknowledging his culpability in those resulting deaths in the street. Riddler did all his killings up close and personal except for Bruce Wayne who he conveniently sends a bomb in the mail to. The entire third act felt kind of tacted on and cheapened the Riddler's character and removed any nuance he had by going from "I'm cleaning up the corruption" to "let's just flood the town and kill everyone".
Alfred threw the bomb away from him and dived back before going off, it didn't blow up directly in his face. He was in the blast radius and does have blast marks on his face tho.
I like how you caught on the Riddler's BS-ing. Lots of people seem to think Riddler just didn't know and Batman was just being paranoid, but he did know and was merely using that knowledge to toy with Batman's mind. Alfred: he ducked behind that huge table Bruce struggled to move, last second. Bomb: Batman raised his armored arms in front of his face hole, split second.
He didn't know. He nearly worshiped batman, but wanted to kill bruce wayne? He tells batman we almost got him referring to bruce. That just sounds like he doesn't know.
So excited to see your reaction to this!! After only about half of this movie I knew that not only is it the best Batman movie-it’s the best superhero movie, full stop. To me, the lack of lethal injury didn’t detract anything. There was already enough immersion that my willing suspension of disbelief wasn’t broken. Sure, worse injury could add another layer, but what they did worked well.
Watching your reactions has taught me to appreciate cinematography - especially colour and lighting - more. When I watched this at the cinema (please go and see it on the big screen) I thought 'WOW! Chris from CNR would love this' - especially in the scene that is only lit by gunfire. and the upside-down/fire/car crash scene. I wasn't wrong! Lol! Great reaction to a great movie! Thank you!
YES!!! I'm watching this movie on Saturday on HBO! The film was inspired by BLADE RUNNER, Se7en, Saw, Silence Of The Lambs, All The President's Men, Klute, Zodiac, Chinatown, The French Connection and every single Hitchcock movie.
Chris make it a #1 priority to see it in a theatre preferably in IMAX (saw it 3 x there). If Se7en & Blade Runner had a baby could so sum up the production design of Reeve's visionary take on the Caped Crusader. Top notch in every way - Idig every incarnation but love that they even made this beaker than Nolan's dystopian trilogy - hard act to top. FYI: Some on location shooting in Liverpoole of all places gives Gotham a grandiose look. Great job and choice.
It’s actually explaining what you feel a score does or why a scene is set in a certain way. I know it’s your thoughts but you caught so many things I missed. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Batman put his hands and gauntlets in front of his face, as the bomb blew up. So that is why he wasn't burnt. I'd imagine in Gotham, especially with the corruption and a mad man running around, that Rèal wore a bullet proof vest. Alfred chucked the bomb away from him to the other side of the table and most of the explosion was probably blocked by that table. Remember Alfred is military trained and probably shielded himself with something. Hope that helped erase that those thoughts from your head, dude.
Batman went from I am vengeance to I am altruism. Lol. But seriously, I like how he showed his vulnerability here. Just like a young lad searching for his identity and true calling. The best part for me is the complexity of his father-son relationship with Alfred. So many fatherhood themes here, BTW. From the mayor playing with his son despite problems with his campaign, the DA sparing his family's life by not revealing the rat's identity, and of course Selena and Falcone (who I hope did not have inappropriate relations with his daughter). Loooove the parallels between The Riddler and The Bat. I listened to the monolgue at the beginning and the first half could be voiced by the Riddler. As for the "weak sauce explosions" 🤣 , I think that the Riddler saw Bruce as an ally, and had no intentions of killing him or exposing his identity. My boy got long term plans! I checked the rataalada website too late. It's now "seized by the Gotham City PD". Lol. Nice touch. I hope DC keeps the website for future announcements. I enjoyed this reaction massively. Well done!
Another fatherhood angle, when Falcone was telling Batman his version of what happened with Thomas Wayne, Falcone was being very fatherly to Batman, and you could tell that he wanted that and was falling for it against his better judgement.
@@ThreadBomb Falcone was such a dastardly character. The actor who played him did a fantastic job. I need to see more of his work. The thing with Falcone is that his story about Thomas Wayne saving his life seems benign- as if he was a "friend of the family", an "uncle" to Bruce if you will. But underlying that is a sinister message of Thomas' affiliation with the mob. It's like, don't act so high and mighty, your father and I are one and the same.
One thing I picked up on was Carmine knows Bruce is Batman when he dies... you can see the recognition in his face, more specifically his eyes, because he recognized Bruce's eyes... remember they how he told Bruce earlier at the funeral that he remembers his eyes watching while his dad helped him. Nothing was mentioned or said in this movie purely by accident. What I love about this movie is that I've seen it 4 times in theaters and you pick up on little details everytime. Like the weather at the bottom of the news screen, lol. Also the Batmobile literally shook the theater I was in with it's reveal. That part still gives me goosebumps. And yes please react to the 5 min deleted scene between Joker and The Batman.
Welcome to Matt Reeves's new Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman with Paul Dano as Riddler and Jeremy Wright as Commissioner Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred
No wonder the city flooded so badly, so quickly. It was pouring rain for the entire story except the funeral scene (when it was still dark and overcast). I get that it's supposed to be dark but I could've done without the constant Blade Runner rainstorm that never ended.
He put his arms up to his face to protect him from burns when the DA bomb exploded. The wing suit landing didn't kill him because his suit is armored up, not just bulletproof.
You got a point. If you’re morally corrupt and killed by the riddler you stay dead. My comment was definitely off the mark and I can now see fair reasons why they survived, I just expected this film to kill off someone we cared about and I thought they did a few times.
You need to see more movies. Even in non-superhero movies, if you're caught in an explosion in today's movies, it doesnt engulf you. It just pushes you out of harms way! One could say Batman's armor protected him but still... As for the mayor, previous one was killed in the beginning, so thats two mayors attacked.
D.A. Colson (the schmuck in the car) is played by Peter Sarsgaard. He also played Hector Hamond in Ryan Reynolds ''Green Arrow''. And his wife is actress/director Maggie Gyllenhaal, who played Rachel in ''The Dark Knight''. Who's brother is Jake Gyllenhaal who played Mysterio in ''Spiderman: Far From Home''. Which makes me wonder if there are any actors in Hollywood anymore? Or just not a lot of parts?
With how much you appreciate the emotional connection between characters in these reactions, along with the score.. I would fucking love to watch you react to Succession. It's so fucking masterful. Definitely on my Mount Rushmore of television.
Loved the movie. The makeup and acting by Colin Farrell was terrific. The inclusion of Something In The Way by Nirvana was perfect for the mood of the scenes used in it.
@@CasualNerdReactions It was weird that they put all that makeup on him and had him act so differently, when there are actors from the Sopranos who could have played the same role with much less latex involved.
This kind of Batman is similar but different to the video game Batman: Arkham Origins. In this movie he is not a veteran in his 10+ years of crime fighting career, but an experienced crime fighter in his second year of his career, who is raw and unrefined.
The mayor was shot in the shoulder. Alfred ducked behind the desk. Bats had his arm in front of his face. Yes they should have all been more injured, but that is how they "explain" it away.
the use of riddler as like this online radicalist that convinces his followers to harm and destroy people is so interesting and relevant to the time we live in. I knew Paul Dano and Robert Pattinson were gonna be so fantastic together in this. I love love love this movie. can't wait for the sequel. and also oh my god the Joker's make up is amazinggggggg. melted and bubbles and vicious. so rad.
So glad we could watch this movie with you! I loved this film: there was so much care taken by all involved, and so many beautiful, perfectly crafted moments. But then there were a bunch of silly little flaws that brought it down. The romance with Catwoman is probably the one that has the most screen time; I found it unconvincing and unnecessary, and the second half of the film would drag much less without it. If I could, I would also CG her silly mask into a proper balaclava. I really liked this Gordon. Unlike previous screen versions, he was not a saint, or a buffoon; he was a tough guy in a tough job, and you could really sense how hard it was for him dealing with the corruption and politics of his job. Turturro as Falcone was the movie's MVP for me. The character was actually the lynchpin of the plot, and although he didn't have much screen time his presence in the story was really powerful (in a similar way to Orson Welles in The Third Man?). The guy playing Riddler has been criticised by some for going over the top. I think he was trying to bring to life what was on paper a very underwritten part. He definitely made a unique impression, I must say. And I loved the bathos of his social media persona: "Hi guys, it's ya boi, the Riddler." There are a pair of great videos on the Dolby youtube channel, interviews with the movie makers covering the movie's sound and cinematography. I think the one on sound (and music) was better, but the one on photography did include great tidbits like the fact that they deliberately used old flawed lenses to give the movie its unique atmospheric look. And it occurred to me while watching this video that Matt Reeves may be the guy who could bring us a great new Alien film... EDIT: Forgot to mention -- taser gloves! Wish they had come back later.

I don't want to sound like an idiot but the batman and the bomb if you look closely at the short shot after the bomb blows up he shields the face, especially the exposed area of his mask with his arms. Second, when it came to him punching the guy in the face as many blows as he took to the face you should watch UFC to know how many punches it takes to knock someone out completely.
Very good reaction man, you should also react to the deleted Joker scene of this movie. It's really good and it takes place after the second victim that Batman and Gordon see in the morgue.
Yeah, they probably tried the scene with Batman backing off before the bomb exploded, but I’m sure that doesn’t look good on film. You see the meme with Batman running away? They obviously couldn’t burn his face. So we got what we got, and we just have to accept it. It is fantasy world after all. I mean, that armor is out of this world. Haha! I like the movie very much, though, and I accept these fantasy elements for what they are. Also in Dark Knight Batman fell from a building without a shute and walked away. Nolan was fantasy too.
I haven’t seen any memes yet 😅 I avoid social media lol. But it definitely didn’t impede my enjoyment of the film, the world of the film is just so great and I’ll just chock it all up to the best armor ever 👌
Yeah I see what you mean. If he ran off he would seem cowardly and that he didn't give 100% for the guy to spill the truth. I think someone pointed out he was shielding his face by crossing his arms as the explosion pushed him, but that's definitely not gonna do much if it were real life. Movie was already too long to have Alfred in a coma so It is what it is, as you say.
Great reaction. The movie is amazing but it would have been perfect had it been shot in 4:3. I feel like there are a lot of scenes that would have looked greater if they were shot in 4:3 aspect ratio.
Not sure if I agree there or not, but my experience with 4:3 is mostly cropping the sides rather than adding. I'm all for it if it means adding to the image and not taking away.
It was very important for Selina to be in this movie. She is a version that Bruce could have turned out to be. He unintentionally inspired Riddler to start his murderous crusade. Selina was out for blood. Falcone was only looking for power no matter what it meant. Oz was just looking to have his moment to be on top. Mayor Mitchell, Commissioner Savage, D.A. Coulson, and even (unintentionally) Bruce have been living comfortably and profitting off of the Renewal money. All this corruption, vengeance, fearmongering, murder, and blackmail have taken over Gotham. The Batman was supposed to be a symbol of change. But ironically it only allowed the ones in power to continue to do what they were doing for years. Selina was the first person to open his eyes to how he wasn't having an effect.
Regarding your comment on everyone being fine, I wonder how much of that is due to the already dark nature of the film and the need to keep it PG-13. I feel like some of the violence was toned down a bit to accommodate the drops drug usage and serial killer stuff.
@@chrispeterson3362i don’t think we are getting a live action one unfortunately. but i heard the new management of DC wants to make a animated Beyond film to rival The Spider Verse.
This movie drags on far too long. I feel that a good 30mins could have been edited out of this movie and it would have been just as good. The theatrical version feels more like the director's cut lol. During the up-close explosion scene involving Batman, it would have been more realistic if he was wearing a full protective face mask.
Have my doubts about Twilight being Batman but he pulled it off... Probably the best Standalone Batman movie they've ever made... Well other than the darknet I should say... Still think Ben Affleck was the best Batman it's a toss-up between him and Robert Pattinson

Batman got his hands up around his face just as the explosion went off, so that explains why he had no burns
That’s a really great touch with Carmine!
Welcome to Matt Reeves's new Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman with Paul Dano as Riddler and Jeremy Wright as Commissioner Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred
A lot of ppl fake it but this felt like a real first reaction. Respect. New subscriber!
No wonder the city flooded so badly, so quickly. It was pouring rain for the entire story except the funeral scene (when it was still dark and overcast). I get that it's supposed to be dark but I could've done without the constant Blade Runner rainstorm that never ended.
😅 I didn’t even notice. Gotham being dark is just something I’m used too I guess. Great point though.
In fairness to Batman, he does seem to have covered his face with his arms, when Colson went boom.
This movie was unbelievably beautiful in Dolby and IMAX, especially in Dolby.
Oh yes! Dolby is usually my viewing preference unless it was filmed for IMAX. This would have been magnificent in Dolby.
He put his arms up to his face to protect him from burns when the DA bomb exploded. The wing suit landing didn't kill him because his suit is armored up, not just bulletproof.
I think I’m just having a hard time believing any suit can be that protective. 😅
You can thank Michael Giacchino (Star Trek, Doctor Strange, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Rogue One) for the great soundtrack.
Yes! He always delivers. I remember discovering the same person did lost, the incredible, and ratatouille - blew my mind.
Batman has a bullet proof cowl but his face was covered by his arms, gloves , and gauntlets during the explosion
"Nobody dies"
The Mayor, Commissioner, DA, Falcone: 😶
You got a point. If you’re morally corrupt and killed by the riddler you stay dead. My comment was definitely off the mark and I can now see fair reasons why they survived, I just expected this film to kill off someone we cared about and I thought they did a few times.
Here's the hint with ave maria song
Baptism. Gotham's baptism. Flood. Water. 7 days. 7 bomb.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE comic stories................LOVE EM......thank u
You need to see more movies. Even in non-superhero movies, if you're caught in an explosion in today's movies, it doesnt engulf you. It just pushes you out of harms way! One could say Batman's armor protected him but still... As for the mayor, previous one was killed in the beginning, so thats two mayors attacked.
The orphans sang Ave Maria before Thomas Wayne’s speech about that Renewal program
Great reaction, Chris. My favorite scene was Batman emerging from the flames.
It was EPIC!!
Loved your demonstrative reactions. Just recently seen it for a second time & you made me want to watch it so close to my last time. Love this movie.
As far as Batman’s face not being burnt he did cover it at the last minute
With how much you appreciate the emotional connection between characters in these reactions, along with the score.. I would fucking love to watch you react to Succession.
It's so fucking masterful. Definitely on my Mount Rushmore of television.
I'd surely pay the $10 to access your full reactions to that.
Nobody dies...
All of the riddler victims :
Am I joke to you?
Valid point 😅 I think what I felt was that it seemed like no one I cared about or who wasn’t corrupt died.
Loved the movie. The makeup and acting by Colin Farrell was terrific. The inclusion of Something In The Way by Nirvana was perfect for the mood of the scenes used in it.
Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of Colin Farrell, but he slayed this role. 👏👏
@@CasualNerdReactions It was weird that they put all that makeup on him and had him act so differently, when there are actors from the Sopranos who could have played the same role with much less latex involved.
@@ThreadBomb Doesn’t mean they can act as good as Colin Farell did playing the Penguin
If you look closely, Bruce covered his face RIGHT before the blast.
This kind of Batman is similar but different to the video game Batman: Arkham Origins. In this movie he is not a veteran in his 10+ years of crime fighting career, but an experienced crime fighter in his second year of his career, who is raw and unrefined.
I loved the way they he a little experience and yet gave us a narrative that was the perfect starting point!
Bruce Wayne is ninja. And he loves to fight with nirvana.
46:42 look closely. He covered his face with his hands
Really enjoyed your reactions!
Thanks!!
There's going to be a Penguin tv series, starring Colin Farrell.
If I’d heard that before watching the movie, I’d roll my eyes- but now I gotta see it.
The mayor was shot in the shoulder. Alfred ducked behind the desk. Bats had his arm in front of his face. Yes they should have all been more injured, but that is how they "explain" it away.
Good enough for me 😅
the use of riddler as like this online radicalist that convinces his followers to harm and destroy people is so interesting and relevant to the time we live in. I knew Paul Dano and Robert Pattinson were gonna be so fantastic together in this. I love love love this movie. can't wait for the sequel.
and also oh my god the Joker's make up is amazinggggggg. melted and bubbles and vicious. so rad.
I actually cant wait to watch this one again!
This was such a crazy ride in theaters
And I loved the bathos of his social media persona: "Hi guys, it's ya boi, the Riddler."
There are a pair of great videos on the Dolby youtube channel, interviews with the movie makers covering the movie's sound and cinematography.
How did you find the Catwoman romance unconvincing? Robert and Zoe have great chemistry. You're like the first person I've seen say this.
Really great movie. I saw myself in your reactions when I watched it in the theater (3 times), if you can you should watch it at the big screen.
What's his suit made out of? Isn't it obvious? It's made out of Adamantium laced with Vibranium....
This is the only acceptable answer 👌
I assumed Bruce put on some kind of anti-burn gel or something on his face.. knowing he was going to be close to the bomb.
I like that idea! It’s a part of my head cannon now. Bat burn repellant, of course.
The score in this movie reminded me of Star Wars.
Great reaction and analysis!
Really great reaction
thanks!
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😊

There is no green screen here
It's leds panels
I don't want to sound like an idiot but the batman and the bomb if you look closely at the short shot after the bomb blows up he shields the face, especially the exposed area of his mask with his arms. Second, when it came to him punching the guy in the face as many blows as he took to the face you should watch UFC to know how many punches it takes to knock someone out completely.
I like it all around, thanks!
You should watch and react to Zach Synders Justice League. It truly is an EPIC watch!
More chilling than thrilling🥱
Very good reaction man, you should also react to the deleted Joker scene of this movie. It's really good and it takes place after the second victim that Batman and Gordon see in the morgue.
Oh great idea!
@@CasualNerdReactions Thanks.
cinema experience is the best
💯
I love that Selina Kyle is bisexual in The Batman like she is in the comics.
everyone keeps saying she missed but she didn't. he ducked down and then the lights went out
He is an impressively fast ducker, but she shot and didn’t hit him. Regardless of circumstances she did miss.
@@allypezz I didn't notice him raise his arms. If I had, I guess the moment might have been more believable.
Yeah, probably should have raised arms slightly earlier, but we got what the editor and filmmaker probably thought looked better on film.
Favorite movie
Best one I've seen in a while!
I'm all for it if it means adding to the image and not taking away.
thrilling _and_ chilling = .. umm .. thrichling
New words. It’s goanna be everywhere.
47:16 just think about it .They are just ordinary people.they haven't experience with shoot someone.probably they miss
What does it mean that all TVs are on the News channel all the time?
It’s probably a factor in why everything’s so messed up. 😅
I think it could've shaved 15-20 mins off but a really good movie. 8.5/10
You are our bruce Wayne 👍🏾👍🏾
nice to see a remake of SE7EN
Yes! Her role in that arc was really a brilliant choice!
Please react to the Batman joker deleted scene. the director released it. Its about 5 mins long, it creepy! The Batman Joker deleted scene!
I just may, not my usual thing, but I have to watch it!
Regarding your comment on everyone being fine, I wonder how much of that is due to the already dark nature of the film and the need to keep it PG-13. I feel like some of the violence was toned down a bit to accommodate the drops drug usage and serial killer stuff.
It could definitely be a factor!
I mean I’m glad, there isn’t a character I don’t want to see in the sequel.
The fighting was a letdown though
Really? To me it felt just about right for a more basic young batman with rage issues. What did you think was lacking?
Are you fan of the animated series and beyond? I grew up on Batman and love all versions
Yes! I haven’t watched either in years, but I remember watching both as a kid. I thought Beyond was the coolest thing ever!
@@CasualNerdReactions it totally is. I've been hoping they would make a live action movie for years
@@chrispeterson3362i don’t think we are getting a live action one unfortunately.
but i heard the new management of DC wants to make a animated Beyond film to rival The Spider Verse.
Nirvana forever
Bruise Wayne
🤣🤣
This movie drags on far too long. I feel that a good 30mins could have been edited out of this movie and it would have been just as good. The theatrical version feels more like the director's cut lol. During the up-close explosion scene involving Batman, it would have been more realistic if he was wearing a full protective face mask.
It was OK! Too long!
I thought I’d feel that way, but I didn’t. Perhaps I’ll feel differently when I rewatch it.
Thrilling and boring at the same time
Oh see, I didn't find it boring at all, but I suppose some could.
Only problem I have with this film, is they literally stole like 3 scenes straight from Se7en.
Haha What scenes? I didn’t even notice.
*took inspiration
Have my doubts about Twilight being Batman but he pulled it off... Probably the best Standalone Batman movie they've ever made... Well other than the darknet I should say... Still think Ben Affleck was the best Batman it's a toss-up between him and Robert Pattinson
