5:51 "It does suffer somewhat from slow-down when too much is going on on screen..." That's a blinkin' understatement if ever there was one! It appears even when there's hardly anything going on it's gasping for breath like an asthmatic obese man who's just walked up a small hill!
It is exciting isn't? I know that there have always been new Amiga games but what is occurring now is something 'more' and I am thinking we will hit peaks by 2021.
I know programming and game development isn't easy, but why does your game perform like an asthmatic obese man who's just walked up a small hill? Don't get me wrong, I like the aesthetic of the game and what have you, but bloody hell it seriously needs / needed extensive performance optimization!
correct on the Reshoot R pricepoint, im not a huge shooter fan and the high price makes it a deff nono for me, but if it had been a decent low price I probably would have given it a go. love black dawn rebirth tho, may have to give Jethunt a try, Rygar is also great.
I have seen the developer of reshoot r get frustrated with talk about the pricing of his game but while we appreciate the effort he has put in, its just a little on the expensive side. I think it’s a 15 euro game at best for digital but 10 euros is probably the sweet spot. I took a couple of months before I decided to buy and that was only because I had decided to covering the Amiga scene at lot more closely moving ahead.
@@RetroGamerNation I'm not really a RPG fanatic either , but had no problem with Black Dawn Rebirths pricepoint, but Reshoot R is more than double the price, unless it has a decent sized price drop I won't be buying it in the foreseeable future, I also appreciate the hard work put into it, but due to the small potential market, surely a lower price would have helped it to sell many more copies.
Finally, 30 years later, a proper version of Rygar is released. It is just too bad that it is AGA only.

great work! Nice evaluation of the new stuff, great to see the work still coming out on the Amiga!
Thanks, the channels coverage of the Amiga scene will ramp up during 2020 to be similar with regular round ups and hopefully more preview content.
@@RetroGamerNation awesome mate
So cool that you cover these Amiga games. I really feel that the Amiga has been reborn. I am so happy! :-D :-D

I'm not whether I haven't recognized it before but the new start logo looks awesome. Very solid round up!
Yes this is the debut of the new graphic / logo. I am very happy with it, it has all the elements I was looking for in a modern vintage style.
Thanks for reviewing my game The Ninja Zombie Killer :)
Thanks for bringing new games to the Amiga.
What did you use to create your game?

so not possibble to play on A500 ? ?
*cough* Reshoot R is Project X code base and sounds *cough* :)
Black Dawn looks awesome.
I think BDR looks great as well, and it amazes me when it gets feedback that it doesn’t look good???
@@RetroGamerNation It looks great! People just loooooove complainin' ;)
The thing that makes it hard for me to get into the Amiga is the releases feeling inferior to anything coming out on the C64.
Love the vids, great accent, can't stand them cockney spiffs.😀
Thanks for the feedback...hang on I have an accent? :)
@@RetroGamerNation Yup, Australian? N Z? 😀
