Cecconoid by djh0ffman - First Look

Here's a quick first look at the new Cecconoid release by Thalamus for the Amiga; this version written by djh0ffman.
I'm using a real Amiga 1200 with a Quickshot II for movement and an ArcadeR for shooting.
First we see Eugatron and Cecconoid played with PiStorm32-lite disabled then a play of Eugatron with it enabled and we see some glitching. Gameplay is unaffected. I've tried some tweaks (nocach, expmem, icnt=1, etc.) to no avail so if anyone knows any way to setting this up to fix this please let me know in the comments.
Yes it's a 30fps video so sue me 😂

Very 8bit except for the music. Sounds great & looks fun, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

The original is 8bit and that's the core of the design, but the particle effects need 16bits to be this fluid! 🙂

How have I been playing this on the switch for SO long, and never discovered the ZUB room that totally makes the tedious start section a TON more bearable? I blame you, Ponder! :P XD

I got a hint from the manual under the paragraph headed *SECRET SHIZZLE* where it states, "The starship is littered with secret passages and tunnels than lead to uncharted rooms brimming with goodies. As soon as you venture out of the first room, dodge the laser beam and make a beeline for the hidden tunnel above that leads to a secret room."

It's damned good. I opted for the boxed version. All sold out now but I wouldn't be surprised to see a digital download version before too long.

Ok, so the graphical glitches are related to the pistorm. Reckon we should get them to take a look at whats wrong with their emulator 😅

theres an updated whdload package that fixes the issue on pistorm/vampire now at least.

@@disasterincarnate I did install the update. Still some issues on the title screen but can't remember if there were any in game. I'll try again soon.
