What a cool video. It really shows the potential for bot busting. If these guys worked a 9-5 for a few weeks, I'm sure they could have a system to identify most bot farms in the game. Some bot farms are just going to be undetectable or nearly undetectable - written with huge amounts of care for things like randomized actions, randomized gear swapping, chat gpt integration, etc - but any of the lazy ones would likely be spotted easily. The implication of this, however, is less that these guys are geniuses - though they are undoubtably pretty smart - and more that Jagex is failing to counter the bot issue on a fundamental level. Personally, I believe there is a few incentives for Jagex to keep some bots in the game. Firstly, the purchase of bonds is obvious monetary incentive, but also from a gameplay perspective, I believe that Jagex wants there to be some item liquidity for most items in the games. Consumables like Zulrah scales, dragon bones, runes, sharks, amalyse crystals, herbs, etc all need high amounts coming into the game since they are in use often. As negative as the effects of botting on the economy are from a GP perspective, the supply of actual items being high is likely largely due to various bot farms. If actual players had to go and collect herbs, or had to buy them at enormous gp values, the game would very likely lose players. Cheap gold inadvertently aids this side of thing. I think Jagex likes to have a certain amount of bots doing very tedious activities like making soft clay and teleport tablets, killing lava dragons, and even doing things like Zulrah or revenants and so only bans a certain % of them when they go over certain thresholds. Obviously, this eventually causes the price of some of these items to crater, but from Jagex's perspective, as long as they can keep pumping out new content with new uniques that are desireable, they can allow this. I'm not sure, if that's the thought process but I believe that Jagex must have reasons to keep these bots in the game, even if they are obvious suicide bots that should be detected by the systems rapidly.
Jagex has been clear about bots for a while now. They do not focus the type of bot farms that drastically effect the game. They only bust the ones that aren't. If I had to guess, they likely have a max amount of p2p accounts they are allowed to ban each month before it effects their bottom line.

Bro, Burt is fucking good. I would pay him to teach me what he knows. It's scary how fast he made that stuff. Not only the program, but bots have to go along with them, and then get data collected, analyzed, organized and consolidated/related, thats crazy! Yo, Burt. HMU, I'm tryin to learn from you. You know how in the karate movies the Good master defeats the bad dojo master and all the students ask the good teacher to teach them because they seen how amazingly good he was and how much better he was than their "master"? Thats what this is, I want to learn from someone with skill like that so I can have skill like that. There's teaching, then theres passing on experience, skill, and knowledge, and I don't think theres many people that are on your level.
You can use the program without botting... just have it on scouting everyone you see when you play. It would be cool if you could make it a runelite plugin to crowdsource and publicize the data
yo puggs you should check out the bot farm in chaos druids, with the constant rising prices of ranarr and snape grass, they're wearing fully addy rune boots and a godsword just collecting high tier herbs. they're on multiple worlds at all times.
What normal people don't understand about an actual "suicide bot" is that the main goal is to lower the price on certain item(s) by at least 20% each. This allows their main to know GE prices before price nukes and make a clean "money laundering" profit. Ever wonder why snape grass in now 700 gp instead of 1k+ or why any other weird item that's easy to get drops in price by a month or so? Not because a bot script can easily pick up the item and trade to a main... It's too easy to detect trading that way and ban a main - but what if you crash a market with bots and buy at the perfect threshold then wait 3 months? Profit. It's insider trading without being an insider - welcome to the real world.
The bot list is impressive, the only issue is that because it is made by bot developers, they can exclude their own bots from the list. Which is unfortunate. In all likeliness Jagex probably already has a similar system, but they have to take time verifying that they aren't real players otherwise we get another wave of false bans like before. + As others have said I'm sure the bot membership is very lucrative for them.
Take a look at the botters in the agility pyramid. They're always around lvl 40 combat (probably waterfall quest etc..) and lvl 69 crafting, with agility levels around 77-95. Only recently have I started to see them at the pyramid. Is it just a pure gold farm? Why the 69 crafting?
The worst part about this is how it highlights jagex's complete and utter incompetence. In one day they figured out a way to scout bots more efficiently and accurately than whatever they're running. Actually embarrassing.
Not gonna lie the tool they made to find the bots was the best part of the video would be nice a video sir puffer using it to find a nice big farm of bots and busting it
Idk if you know about this but theres 2 bots farming blue dragons in ogre enclave in EVERY DAMN WORLD. I had to go there for a Konar slayer task and kept getting crashed by bots
These guys are super chill man! Love the script to find other accounts. imagine if Jagex used a tool like this, they would decimate the bots so quickly that it wouldnt be worth people making them anymore
To put it into perspective, those Leviathan bots literally went at it until over 104m Ranged Exp. Also I get why you don't wanna use their program. Scout bots are the reason many don't even touch the Wilderness (Imagine your HCIM's name, stats, risk and entry point getting ratted out to a PK'ing clan's Discord the second you go into the Wilderness) and even though it'd result in massive ban waves, there's always the possibility you'd get sacked for using Scout Bots to call out the bots. The main problem with bot busting on the company's part is that they go off a sort of "Time based ban wave". They rack up the guilty party in an ever growing list and don't hit the ban button until a certain time frame to try and "fool" the Bot Makers into not knowing how their system was detected. However the time gaps are wide enough to where the game still suffers as a result.
honestly if they put their effort into busting bots with you i could totally see jagex giving them a big thumbs up, for switching teams i just hope its not a bait and switch,
Hey sir the falconry bots are going CRAZY just now by the time i write this comment, the price of gloves of silence plummeted awfully, those bots are out of control, many lvl 3 suicide bots and perhaps some hacked accounts
Just a friendly reminder that Jagex is a company, and companies exist to make as much profit as possible, and bots make them profit, therefore Jagex will not ban bots even if they could. Ignore people saying we need bots, we don't need bots. We need a player economy that will reward new players for doing lower level content that the bots, for the most part, do en mass and make unrewarding.
The only beef i have with the scan bot is how do you make the difference between a bot and a multi logger because if i was running 20 accounts at the same time they'd all run the same gear

This botter/bot scripter duo is more than eager to help Pugger slaughter their competition so they can upscale later. They likely think they can outsmart Jagex and, as long as they can outlast their competition, they'll have market dominance after the ban waves take out their competitors.
@@bodaciouschadI'm not sure if it's that deep. I know guys like this and guys like this do this shit for fun.
I was helping a friend test his anti-cheat for a private server of a game and a guy popped up with the most advanced custom cheats that had ever been seen in the game. He just hung out, showed off what stuff he could do, helped test the anti-cheat, and even gave some good advice on how to improve it.
A journalist would never reveal their source, an undercover cop would never reveal a CI and Pugger should never dox or report these lads. It's beneficial to have eyes on the inside, no matter how much you may or may not trust them. Remember all that crazy schizo shit with the duel arena RMT guys sending people credible death threats? If we had inside men at the time maybe those dudes would've been brought to some kind of justice.
There's a keylogger and malware on the program they made for him
Bro, Burt is fucking good.
Have you seen the fletching bots sitting around the GE, multiple in every world, all with 120+ fletching
You can use the program without botting... just have it on scouting everyone you see when you play. It would be cool if you could make it a runelite plugin to crowdsource and publicize the data
I could probably make that. Do you think people would use it?
yo puggs you should check out the bot farm in chaos druids, with the constant rising prices of ranarr and snape grass, they're wearing fully addy rune boots and a godsword just collecting high tier herbs. they're on multiple worlds at all times.
he scrolled over of the names with his mouse it's churliron470 and hypoocuvula.
Bruh why
Admittedly these guys are really funny. That’s what really matters
So much truth
whats the 47 hunter for...
don't worry about that. *both laugh evilly* had me rolling
I need to learn how to bot. Honestly, these guys sound like they're having so much fun and it seems like a decent money maker.
Incredible video Pugger, I smeta redemption ark for these lads 😂
this is the best content the game has to offer nowadays
Need more botters taking out the competition like these guys
Sir Pugger the Godfather of the Botting mafia confirmed 😂 👌
Need a part two with these guys!
I love these two 😂 had to do a bong rip to match that energy
He wanted a lil' treat soooo bad 😭
LC is a REAL piece of work. I grew up with the guy's father and I could tell you some stories :O
Funny how two friend botters can make a program to find bots and the Jagex team are still slacking.
These guys deserve a huge shoutout. What a legend!
“What’s the 47 hunter for?”
“Don’t worry about that”
😂 these dudes actually pretty funny. I hate bots tho lol
plot twist: sir pugger is the biggest bot script writer and distributer macerating as runescapes biggest bot buster.
This joke has been made on almost every one of his videos.
ive been killing half those lava dragon bots you had on screen for weeks now . up dang near 100m in bones/black d'hides alone
The worst part about this is how it highlights jagex's complete and utter incompetence. In one day they figured out a way to scout bots more efficiently and accurately than whatever they're running. Actually embarrassing.
should take a look at the bandos bots running at the moment, more and more frequent!
world 352 at the undead druids, found 2 accounts both well over 99 range, one name is Aamurs2, seems to just sit at undead druids for decent loot
8:42 "I used to do this back in the day."
He must realized how pointless and futile is to be on a good side when you can make easy money on bad side.
This is ur best vid yet love it
Regular Chins are already going up haha!
Sir Pugger gives away that he's a DnD fan. "Some real chaotic neutral sh*t"
Thats fun. Cool Collab
Zalcano bot farm has been running in 477 for over 6 weeks now. I've reported them over 100+ times.
all in all, they're pretty wholesome dudes !!
335 is conveniently the actual world our clan uses, when we split money with irons
These guys are super chill man! Love the script to find other accounts. imagine if Jagex used a tool like this, they would decimate the bots so quickly that it wouldnt be worth people making them anymore
All you need to do is find out which accounts don't appear in that software, and you'll know what their bot accounts are.
However the time gaps are wide enough to where the game still suffers as a result.
honestly if they put their effort into busting bots with you i could totally see jagex giving them a big thumbs up, for switching teams
i just hope its not a bait and switch,
The people around you influence you, before the hero becomes the villain
Alternate title: “Mob boss recruits police to eliminate competition.”
This video should be called "Sir Pugger" helps botters take out the competition"
Jagex needs to hire these guys. that was the most giga chad move ever.
Hey sir the falconry bots are going CRAZY just now by the time i write this comment, the price of gloves of silence plummeted awfully, those bots are out of control, many lvl 3 suicide bots and perhaps some hacked accounts
thanks to sir pugger i now know how to build a bot farm
“Cows. Cows to level 75 range” 😂
i love sir puggers
Bandit camp chest , every world.
caught this one right away
When botters are better bot busters than jagex officials
I keep finding mage training arena bots, they have level 50 combat stats and like 105 magic. Wear like full rune with the progress hat
Just a friendly reminder that Jagex is a company, and companies exist to make as much profit as possible, and bots make them profit, therefore Jagex will not ban bots even if they could. Ignore people saying we need bots, we don't need bots. We need a player economy that will reward new players for doing lower level content that the bots, for the most part, do en mass and make unrewarding.
there are now pk bots in rag at lava dragons that team with eachother
lol blackout the name but clearly showing @6:54 Skobos
"im not gonna hold you"
i sure hope not
gonna close the gate whenever i pass by cows now
I cant stop thinking that the two botters are getting way more out of this video then we are
Those two botters are taking out there competiton
The only beef i have with the scan bot is how do you make the difference between a bot and a multi logger because if i was running 20 accounts at the same time they'd all run the same gear
