The rabbit holes you can go down on Blowout threads of people trying to estimate print run on some of the rare 90s inserts is fun. I have a authentic 1993 Manny home jersey (with the Olin/Crews patch) - definitely a favorite in my collection.
Flair was the best and had awesome inserts. Loved opening the little cardboard box packs. Awesome to see normal cards and not overdone serial numbered cards that people think are hits.
90s inserts and parallels is easily the best era of cards. Specifically 95-00 it was all well thought out and the designers of the cards really wanted to provide something special for collectors.
You had me at 90s refractors...the crème de la crème of sports card designs! Many of these designs make ultra modern designs look like checklist cards 😛 GREAT cards! Flair Showcase and that 97 Finest Power and embossed are some of my favorite designs! That Z Axis and Summit...boom! These are cards you just sit back and truly enjoy looking at them!
Love the 90's inserts, I was lucky enough to pull 95' Summit hockey card of Mario in a artiest proof it's one of my most beautiful gold shimmer card in my collection.
The inserts in the 90s are King. Just bought several Rodman inserts today. My strategy is simple now, selling the model and collecting the 90s which I do love
Regardless of player, 90s designs were so original and high in artistic value, which translated into nostalgic value. PLUS you have a player you love = Win, win, win.
Awesome pickups, I love my 90's insert collection so much so that I pretty much stopped buying everything else. I find many more bargains at my local shows because of the low interest in this area. Well, unless its basketball, but... I do have to say that with the over production of modern stuff. I am starting to look into the inserts that most people take for granted. If I like the design and there are a handful of good players on the checklist then I will look into them. As for color matching that's a different animal, plus, to me, Panini card designs aren't all that different anymore from year to year. Be a Blessing!!!
Dont forget that the photography was just simply better back then. Poonini has brought cartoon cards because they dont have photographers with skillz like back in the day.
I made a suggestion to BGS to just change their gem mint plus cards to BGS White Label Gem Mint+ 10’s. Everything else gets to stay the same. That die cut would look great in a sexy new White Label 10. 😉
Not looking for financial advice, but do you think these low pop refractors have potential to rise in value? Or do you think they have peaked? Just looking for an opinion
Modern will become vintage. I enjoy collecting cheaper cards then $100+. The refractors, parallels etc look good in CSG. I'm jumping on some ohtani stuff.
What a sick pick up lot 👏💯💪🏻 GLAD YOU CAME TO THE #DARKSIDE My friend 💪🏻💪🏻😉😁🤣 #90sinserts an #early2k's sleepers N #Grails I still have that Manny Platinum Medallion Bigboy Card #d/66 it's Calling the "#Neo-El-P.C.-E-Ooh "😉📞.... I'll send some flics soon on IG 👍🏻 Ps.... that Unth degree is Nineteenth degree lol 😂 lmlmlllmlm
90s inserts are some of the best stuff ever. Even the mass produced stuff. Some of the quality is even better than todays stuff

Absolutely love this! Nothing compares to the 90’s. This video hit different. 🍻
Thanks!
Love this type of content, 90’s refractors can’t be beat. Best video yet NEO, thanks for sharing

So cool. Thanks for sharing this. Brings back such great memories.

I’ve become such a fan of 95-99’ basketball inserts. Some of them are gorgeous. There some Kobe and jordan inserts that are phenomenal.
My son loves Derek Jeter cards and many of those you showed, are crazy prices for Jeter in 9s, especially those refractors in 9s.
Yea it’s great getting cool cards like these are reasonable prices given the Manny Roid issues.

Loved Manny (especially when he joined the Red Sox). Obviously Griffey had the sweetest swing but Manny's swing was a thing of beauty too. Nice cards!
fantastic pick ups. The 1995 summit looks really amazing, but my favorite is the 1997 Finest "power" refractor, clean ans absolutely classic
Love it!
1997 EX 2000 A Cut Above Manny Ramirez #8 is an awesome card to pick up. Cool cards, I collect. 90s inserts of Frank Thomas, thanks for the vid!!!
Awesome stuff - I've targeted 90's topps chrome refractors.
Gorgeous cards, those old Indians jerseys sure bring back great memories
Dont forget that the photography was just simply better back then. Poonini has brought cartoon cards because they dont have photographers with skillz like back in the day.
What memories! Really cool cards NEO!
Good stuff NEO!
Congrats on adding this lot to your PC Rob. That 97 Finest is a great design! Keep up the great videos. 👍🏼
90s refractors and inserts were the best! I just made a video on my channel for my top 10 favorite 90s inserts...so many cool designs
Flair cards were really nice
Nice work!
like those cards.
Beautiful cards.
Got some Beltres 98-99 refractors at PSA nice pickups
Great cards
thanks
Flair is 🔥
How's the pink Juan Soto working out?
I dunno I traded mine last year
Baker
my most recent experience has been that BGS is harder on die cuts than PSA.

Nice. I side PC manny Indians 90’s Just the harder stuff. Manny was affordable a few years back. Some more people go after him now which stinks lol.

No idea I just like them
@ Would love to see more videos of 90s refractors. Thanks
Check out 2000 topps chrome power players refractors🔥🔥. The manny is cheap and they look sick.

Another great video
None of those are inserts though, except possibly one.
90's cards? YES. Manny Ramirez? NO.
To me 90s inserts are overrated!!! What’s not are those players who played in that decade.
