- In this lesson we will take a quick dive into the Noah’s flood. Often overlooked by readers of Scripture are details that harken a careful student to make comparisons to items found in common with the first Torah portion, Bereshit.
A few of those (but not all) include the portion centred around a man with 3 sons.
•One of those three sons best known for their shameful action
•A garden being planted
•Sin entering into the story when partaking from the garden.
We also catch a glimpse that the sequence of events of the flood also mirror the 6 days of creation.
We also look at one of the most innocent comments made that has turned into a centuries old debate of just how righteous Noah truly was.

Very clear concise explanation of the Word, thank you !
Much appreciated.
Noah didn’t petition for more to be saved because all flesh had been corrupted & he knew this. This is why is says “Noah was perfect in his generation.” Which means his genes had not been tampered with by fallen Angel/Nephilim DNA.
I’ve heard that before as well. One of the translated commentaries I have says the phrasing “all flesh was corrupt” was even beyond the human DNA, but the much of the animals were, too. They say that’s why it states all flesh as opposed to mankind.
I’m of two minds about it. Interesting talking point, nonetheless.
