@@tonytucker8651 Depends on the situation and what is needed. Does the crawl need waterproofing? Is there wood repair or termite damage? Does it need soda or dry ice blasting? How big is the crawl space? All of those factor into the price. We have done encapsulations for a few thousand dollars and some that cost over 50k. The price shared in the video is the average of all the jobs we do. Foundation repairs are a different animal all together.
The video breaks down the average cost, covering a bunch of factors. Need drainage? Waterproofing? Got wood rot or termite damage? All these add up. It's more than just the cost of plastic. Need dry ice blasting to tackle mold? Expect to drop about $2,000 just on the ice. Electrician's fees range from $1,100 to $2,000 for the electrical work, which includes a switch, service light, and a permit. And that’s before we talk permit fees for the encapsulation, labor, and all the other gear and a dehumidifier. We've done some encapsulations for a few thousand and others that shot up past $70k.
Great insight about dealing with water intrusion, fungi, and rot first!
Thank you, Dylan!
Informative but would of been nice if you included picture example
Thank you for the feedback. We will incorporate more pics in the future.
whats an endcapusalation?
It is a sealing in of the crawl space to control moisture and prevent mold and wood rot.
😳😳 14k?
It is not cheap.
@ You can get the foundation repaired for that amount
