    I personally cannot speak highly enough of Dr Bicer. A great choice Joe and very worthy of joining your recommended list of surgeons. She has volunteered her time chatting with me for an hour several times on all things hair transplant and her ethics are beyond reproach. Dr Bicer continually challenges herself with updating her knowledge and skills and is often a key note speaker at conferences internationally. As Joe said has over two decades in the trenches. Thanks for sharing mate!

      I've reviewed and know very well the clinic of Dr. Edward Ball in Portsmouth. They're incredibly ethical and very good at what they do. Another doctor that I know, but haven't reviewed so you may want to look into him is Dr. Manish Mittal in London. The Harley Street Hair Clinic is always a solid option as well.

This whole industry is mind boggling because it seems as if prices here in the US can be double, but the results here might not be worth the added cost. Any responses greatly appreciated.

      I haven’t looked at Gur very closely. Hattingen is truly world class and I’ve got a new video coming out tomorrow with more insight from Dr. Muresanu. Dr. Varona is also excellent and understands what natural means. If he’s on your list of considerations and he’s local you may have just found your clinic.

    • @hairtransplantchannel
      @hairtransplantchannel  2 роки тому

      I can honestly say I know nothing about the man but with Bosley in general, I know that their before/after galleries in office usually show the best of the best from all of their locations, as if each doctor is a carbon copy of the other, with regards to skill set and experience. I don't know if that is still the case or not, but always ask if what you're looking at is a patient of the doctor that you'll be dealing with specifically. As it stands, however, I only have one clinic in the LA at the moment that I've reviewed in depth and that is the Alvi Armani clinic with Dr. Hughes. They're really quite good.

    Hi
    First of all thanks for your informative content! I don‘t know if you can help me but I will try to explain..
    I have a question:
    I have super agressive mpb that started as 16 year old (diffuse thinner). My regiment since I’m 18 is 0.5mg Dutasteride daily and 10% Minoxidil every night. As I was 21 years old I had a hair transplant at the front with 1000 grafts. It costed me so much money.. But eventually between 22 and 24 the hair loss stopped. Right now I‘m 25 years old and I have never stopped with medication. My hair loss progressed agressively in 1 year and I really don‘t know what to do?
    - I‘m thinking of adding RU58841? As my follicles are maybe extremely sensitive to the remaining scalp-DHT.. (Dutasterid kills only 51% of scalp-DHT and 90% systemic according to several studies)
    - Dermaroller 1.5mm 1x a week?
    Do you have other ideas/advice?
    (Oral Minox is no option as I has sides)
    I‘m desparate and really need your or someons advice.. And I think that the mental stress that the hair loss caused got it worse..
    But I really don‘t understand why the hair loss is progressing so fast now..
    Thanks for everyone that responds!

      I'm not a doctor but if I were you, I'd ask my doctor to run a battery of blood tests to double check my overall health. It has been shown that vitamin D deficiency MIGHT be a culprit and upping your intake with dedication tablets may help. My personal opinion is that unless you're seeing improvements, the dermaroller is doing nothing and maybe discuss with your prescribing doctor about upping your dosage of dutasteride. You could also consider taking the Trichotest to see if you're genetically more receptive to finasteride compared to dutasteride. Look it up on Fagron's website to learn more.
