I will never get why people pay for a addon for a game you have to pay for lol Especially when there are free alternatives (which sometimes are even around quite a while) like GuideLime
@@dr.dudemeister7013 I never use free when I can pay a reputable third party. There's just not enough incentive to do a good job with free stuff. From lacking UI, bad UX, performance hogs, bugs, outdated content, lack of support, "you should be thankful" attitude, so on.. all too common with free software.
Gotta disagree with the sponsor. Paying for addons is against the tos. They get away with it by saying but we offer a limited demo. Then you're not offering the product in its entirety and therefore it's against tos.
Almost. The add-on itself is completely free. The guide files that it loads are not technically considered part of the addon because the addon functions perfectly fine without them. As such they are allowed be sold. This is how addons like Zygor or RestedXP have always operated. In my opinion this is an actual case of "blame the game, not the player". Or rather, blame Blizzard for allowing this situation to exist in the first place. I don't blame the authors of these addons at all. They just saw a potential market and made a product that they could sell, because Blizzard allows them to do so. People need to make a living somehow. The authors found a way to apply their skill sets to make money, and managed to create a business. That's the American dream made reality, isn't it? And by extension, I don't blame youtubers/streamers for doing RestedXP ads either. They also need to make a living. Classic WoW is a fairly niche topic; most content creators in this bubble would find it impossible to live solely off their youtube/twitch money. This is the unfortunate reality. Making these videos takes much more time than you would think. If Meta didn't do sponsorship ads, he'd probably be working for below minimum wage. Anyway, both Zygor and RestedXP are very high quality products with an absolute ton of work behind them. They're above and beyond 99% of free addons. People are willing to pay for them because they feel like they're actually worth it. The difference between the two is largely their target market. RestedXP is about min-maxing and speed leveling, it targets competitively oriented players who want to get to endgame ASAP. Meanwhile Zygor is targeted at casual players, so it prioritizes convenience above all else (and the leveling guides are only one half of the addon, it has a lot more guides than just for leveling). Btw, the reason Fojji is allowed to sell his weakaura sets is the same. They're not considered addons, they're code to be imported and used by an add-on. And again, people will pay for them because they're very high quality. Especially the boss mod sets - they're significantly better than whatever DBM or BigWigs have to offer. It's also fairly obvious why Blizzard doesn't step in. Firstly because there's no financial incentive for them to forbid it. In fact, it would cost them money to actually enforce this particular clause of the TOS, and we all know how reluctantly Blizzard spends money. Further, if they did suddenly begin to enforce it after having allowed it for 13+ years, they would cause a lot of people (the addon authors and those who work under/with them, e.g. those who run their websites) to lose their jobs, which would be bad optics. And finally, some players have become fully dependent on these addons, particularly Zygor because it's such a huge addon with guides for so many different things. These players don't want to think for themselves anymore; they just want to follow the arrow and do what the guide tells them. It's likely that many of these players would simply quit playing WoW if the addon would stop being developed, thereby losing Blizzard even more money.
There will be only one god in classic, GOLD, and one who will have most gold is MAGE. Mages can buy Warriors, as slaves. No money for repair, no money for consumables etc.
Guys play what looks cool and will keep you immersed and having fun. Go play your ret pally and balance druid if u think its fun!!! On the other hand if u think tier lists and min max shit is fun do that too thats why we love classic ❤
So I’m just gonna play Prot Pally and enjoy my time doing that and then go right back to playing something else when it is no longer fun to play Prot Pally.
It depends, when not planing to raid and only casually doing a dungeon here and there it looks different. Warriors without gear are weak, so weak that Blizzard decided to give Warriors in later phase Diamond Flask from the sunken temple class quest. Besides the heavy 75 strength its use scales 100% with +healing which also snapshots. For example overall +200 healing will result in 209 healing ticks while trinket remains equipped. That is a God trinket. Somewhat similar in gimmickry for feral druids that for the vast majority feel weak too but with cycling through a stack of MCPs, Wolfshead Helm and some power shifting macros become good enough.
People moaning about videos like this being made is pathetic, of course content creators are going to make content about classic wow its how they make money, you wouldn't go to a car boot sale and moan someone is selling old items
Everyone just milking recycled classic content at this point
And you’re hear watching it. You’re the real loser lol
lol yep but I like listening to it while I work
Because they released new servers. Of course it’s coming up. Your comment is bad
So? It’s what I want lol
Ya what did you expect. Can you make your own content?
Warrior, mage, warlock. Saved you 7 mins
And addon AD
Thank you .
how dumb is that comment
I would have guessed wayor, mage, rogue
God class is the class you wanna play and enjoy..
Ok, I am sick of excuses for selling restesxp
The fact that speed leveling guides are being sold for this game tells you everything you need to know.

Google it, full cracked guide available
25 green ones too 😂
@@dr.dudemeister7013insecurity, they don’t trust themselves to level up fast so they want a guide for it
Bro, glad you still going strong with Classic. I remember running Auchindoun dungeons with you during the first TBC classic.

I love WoW. Pay for the bese game, pay for sub, pay for the store items, pay for addon.

yes I started lvl a Mage this time around and it's amazing :D
Warlocks also have the best raid sets esthetically speaking when it comes to other casters. They're just so metal.
WTS [Lesser Magic Wand] UC 13s
I like turtles
Shadow priest baby let’s goooooo
Warriors are painful to level. If you’re not dedicated to lots of end game raiding, don’t bother making yourself miserable.
Nobody will play a healer or a tank?
Rogue and ret for life.
As a hunter more warrios more fun for me in pvp
Not really, Warriors are tanky, More warriors is more fun for mages.

The demonhunter will be nuts💯💯
Not "gods" but "god" and that would be the warrior.
World of warriorcraft
No mention of hunters and their ability to solo DMT... bad video.
Get rage baited.
yah whatever, dude.
Just want to level a hunter and do some DM tribute solo runs
Wayor
Bla bla bla.. same sht again
Why do you say “Ciao” at the end of the video?
We already know what classes will dominate, this is not a new game and you probably did the exact same video for original classic…
I cast 1 wrath on my new druid on fresh and was instantly reminded how bad druids were. Logged off instantly, wont be logging back in. RIP
Feel bad for you. Play retail lemaooooo
SoD
They dominate in TBC, though... unstoppable in PVP as resto-bear.
