Thanks to internet and social media conservative thoughts are changing in villages. And people are embracing changes and government is also trying to support financially for building toilets in village houses. Whereas in cities each house has multiple toilets and bathroom. Villages in India are also transforming slowly.
People tend to stereotype us for this but India is constantly evolving and this issue is now not that common
This movie is based on an incident much before when the movie was made
It's not common at all..its very rare
This isnt as much of a religious issue as much it is a financial issue for people
What financial?? Govt itna support de rhi toilet banane ko, aur shadi me badhiya badhiya kapde pehente hai aur Hagne Bahar jate hai. It is mental block of people in name of religion as specified by the Collector in the movie

@loveutube04 not religious at all...the indus valley civilization already had tpilets and a drainage system and they were sanatanis as well...hinduism doesnt impose any rules on anyone...no ones stopping anyone from using toilets

Well I did tbh I didnt even know the story was about constipation but i enjoyed it while being disgusted at those toilet scenes because I had chips and sauce of the same colour.
