Motivational tip for Xenoblade 3: give it more time than just 13 hours. You haven't even scratched the surface.
I really liked Xenoblade 3. My boyfriend on the other hand felt the same as you about it. I had to drag him through the first 20h or so. It helped him to play on easy because the fights are much shorter. Wich makes the game progress faster. I personally had no problem with the characters. If I am being honest. For me they are the most interesing ones from the xenoblade series. If I had to point out my favorite things abot every Xenblade in short. Xenoblade 1: Story! Xenoblade 2: Music and exploring! Xenoblade 3: Character development. This game is a brilliant character study on a group of people who live in a world full of war, hate and knowing they die after ten years, finding out about, real friendship, love, empathy, passion and an intrinsic reason to fight and what it means to live.
By the way. The world feels much more emersive if you go back to the colonies you already visited after progressing in the story a bit once in a while. You will get really great sidequest. Learn more about the people and automaticly begin to care about them.

I really love this idea for a video. You see so many people rank their top 10 games on the year but why not rank everything you played in the year even if it wasn’t exactly from this year. I actually beat 75 games this year and I ranked them all on my Instagram stories. Made for a super fun experience. Keep this content up I love it

Xenoblade 3 was my favorite game this year, and I think it’s because of how everything progressed…the areas only get better and more fun to explore as things go on, the combat only gets more options and gets faster with time, yada yada you get the picture. I think the sidequests are in contention for best in the series, if not actually just the best far and away. I mean, there were points where I was doing one, it wrapped up, and I had genuinely forgotten that I wasn’t doing the main story.
I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t clicking with it, but I will say that at the very least the complaint levied against the characters made (quite frankly) that early on will almost certainly not stay that way with time. My favorite part of the game story-wise is how they develop and grow as people, which is inherently going to be something that has to be a long-game type deal. Either way, if you don’t want to go back to it, don’t feel bad. However, I would encourage you to give it another shot if you’re up to it.
Also as an aside I found that if I ever got even slightly bored while playing a Xenoblade game that all I had to do was switch characters and it got lively as hell again, maybe try moving classes around and stuff. Or don’t, if that’s what making you stressed out and you’d rather just stick to what you already have; it’d be a challenge run without access to some moves to fill out those extra slots, but it could still be fun.

Xenoblade 3 really improved the side content. I get what you’re saying, I had issues like that too and I think a lot of it stemmed from the overworld being far less interesting than previous games. The side quests are what really got me into playing further and fr fr the second half of the game >>>>> the first half

My favorite game that I played this year has to be persona 5. I know it didn’t release this year but this was the first year I had played it and it’s so much fun. Finished it before the multi platform release and am currently in another play through. I can’t stop😅

I'm pretty behind on Sonic, there's like a ten year delay for me. I just got Generations for Christmas so maybe in 2032 I will review Sonic Froniters. Also ending bop is by Andrew, look forward to his full remix soon

At the price Chibi Robo currently demands, basically no game will deliver. But take away it's high price today and I think it's a lovely game. I just recently replayed it and had a blast, but I also paid $20 for it as a kid. If Nintendo were to do a proper Switch Chibi Robo game, I'd absolutely buy it.

It's kinda funny how your feelings about Xenoblade 3 are pretty much the same as fine, except with one big difference. That is how I felt about Xenoblade 2, still finished it, but I probably won't play it again. (I loved Torna though)

I don't understand the high demand for Chibi-Robo. Reminded me that I bought a Wii U last year which came with a bunch of games including Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. For some reasons the prices are high for this game, I should probably put it on ebay for a cheaper price.
No no no no listen the game is probably the worst in terms of Mario vs Sonic but the OST has a bunch of bossa and samba remixes of the music from both series. Think of it as a very expensive album, that you now have the luxury of owning
How did you get Chibi Robo for cheap? And how much is cheap?
GameStop was selling it for $65. Which is actually pretty cheap compared to the eBay prices. Happened to find it when we stopped on a road trip so I brought it home.
