Like I said most retcons were just fine and don't even contradict, but that's not really my point, you can't tell me his vision of the show went in a totally different direction as time went on. Making the Sharingan and dojutsu (besides the Byakkugan) in general a gigantic focus in Shippuden, reincarnation of Indra and Asura, Kaguya (which was literally Shonen Jump making him kill Madara so they can seed the plot of Boruto) and his ultimate sin imo, making Black fucking Zetsu the architect of basically every event in the show. Warping the show around the Uchiha and Senju over time and making it generally about destiny more than self-determination. It's more about what these direction shifts did to the feeling of the show overall than anything else. Even little things like Kakashi never really living up to his title as the "Copycat Ninja" after the Land of Waves arc bother me. Like the Sharingan really went from the "Copy Wheel Eye" to reality-altering, all-powerful magical bestowed by the gods type of shit. I like Naruto I just often think what the show would be like if he didn't go in this direction. @@makima4life

Orochimaru took a "Shinra Tensei" to his face and just shrugged it off, while Sasori was like "WTF just happened" 😂 Plus it was nice to see at least a little more of Konan and how much of a dangerous opponent she could be, not to mention Orochimaru fighting in the Akatsuki cape 🤝

Kakuzu powers are one of the nastiest yet badass powers in the show how he can detach and stretch his arms and how his hearts act on they own outside of his body
These scenes were actually made by the Ninja Storm team who got the chance to add totally original animation for the Akatsuki Recruitments. Since then Kishimoto showed us how they actually got recruited in canon and the scenes are slightly different (Except Itachi little broing Deidara in the coolest way ever with his genjutsu which will play into the story much later), but these were cool to see in game as a fan back before the show was even finished in 2016.

Regardless, he was still confident to beat him. And it makes sense. Same nerfed Orochimaru was having fun with 4 tails Naruto, Sasori would have no chance against 4 tails Naruto. Sakura and Chiyo would never give Orochimaru a hard time lol. And if we're talking about healthy Orochimaru with his hands, then it's just too easy for Orochimaru. He gets underrated a lot. In this cutscene it's all pretty accurate. Orochimaru toying with Sasori and mocking him, they're not on the same level. And in terms of intelligence? He was 1 step ahead of him, fooled him the entire time. On another note, Sasori was a genius of puppetry and poison. Orochimaru has done so much more. Sasori's not nearly as intelligent.
It seems to be chilly and fantastic to witness the Origin of Akatsuki 😄 Also it seems to be nice that the cutscenes be in English as we hear some iconic Voice Actors in the this game. So fun fact about Pain’s VA is being Troy Baker, the one who voice Sam from Uncharted 4, Joel from Last of Us, Joker in Arkham Origins, and more. While we have Deidara “Clay Artist” being Roger Craig Smith, as he voiced Ezio from Assassin’s Creed 2-Revelations, Batman’s in Arkham Origins, Sonic the Hedgehog and Chris Redfield

The Akatsuki are probably the most infamous group within this world. Pain in particular is the leader of it for a reason. And I was honestly waiting for you guys to question Pain’s appearance. But maybe that will be later.
My favorite members are Sasori and Deidara! In the show, they bicker quite a lot because they have similar prideful personalities, even though the reason they were paired together in the first place was because they're both artists! My other favorite is also paper girl, because her powers are pretty unique for a ninja. I don't feel like I've seen any other character (and believe me, there are a LOT) in the show use paper only as a weapon!
Akatsuki members must paint their nails to show loyalty to the cause, it shows that you stained your fingers with the loyalty of the Akatsuki and you plan on keeping it on even when on the verge of death. I also heard that in the Feudau Japan, some of the richest people painted their nails in order to show their power and status, also also, Ninjas painted their nails to appear more threatening, somehow...
Most of this was true, now Kishimoto, the author made a canonical version of this and a lot of this was changed, you could said these 10 members were defenitely not definitive, they kept switching members, the guy with masks in his back for example, have a lot partners in the past but he always killed them, that's why they recruit an inmortal guy
This was considered canon first since the one Kishimoto made just adds into this origin story. Reminder that these OVAs are game exclusive too so this is actually the only Akatsuki origin story we had at the time.
Man, it's weird seeing story play out from Obito's perspective. The Akatski all remain complete mysteries until they run into main characters very late in the series. We only find out everything about Obito during the final arc.
If you were sad about the death of Naruto's parents and wanted something more positive for the next episode, you would have to be thankful that they jumped to the villains and didn't continued with Naruto.
i feel the anime/manga introduction of them has more mystery cause Itachi and Kisame just show up to stalk naruto out of nowhere after a super big arc and you wouldn't really have known about this group beforehand. Like the world building feels more natural
Madara's words aren't so much a cult. His whole thing was to break the cycle that humans are stuck in, put everyone in a dream. Essentially every human is in a coma and everyone gets to enjoy their perfect world in their own dream. Even if your perfect world is you killing people, you are only killing phantoms that don't exist, though in your dream you believe they do. Yet nobody was actually hurt. What Madara speaks on is primarily, enlightenment.

Choice is an illusion, nobody ever has any choice in anything, people only believe they do. And people wouldn't want to go into this perfect dream out of fear which is not logical. Also if some were allowed to be out of it, they could just kill those who are in the dream. Also people don't know what the hell they want lol. People also believe in "heaven" which is exactly what Madara is trying to offer. Would anyone refuse heaven if it was a real thing?

These games did a pretty good job of getting the focal points of the story through. I gotta say tho. If you two enjoy anime, you should check out both nartuo series. They are a bit of a commitment for sure. But thw world building and story are so worth it

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Apparently it had to do with the creator of Naruto Kishimoto, the devs of the game were given some freedom with the characters origins, but Kishimoto himself hadn't made the canon version yet in the anime yet.
Yall should watch at least naruto shippudens fights and story of the tv show there portions of the story are my favorites some of the characters like pain, itachi, sasori, dedira and really all are awsome and impactful.
