That is the most impressive jersey collection I have seen anyone have. I about fell out of my seat when you broke out the Garnett (original T wolves jersey design that is my all time favorite) and the Larry Johnson jerseys.

But the majority of game work jerseys were screen pressed. Look closely at photos of the games in the 90s and you'll see it. I was against the screenprinting but now to me, it is more "authentic" per say than a jersey that's sewn on that never was when they wore it during a game.

It's crazy how we always consider something authentic if its stitched when in reality the jerseys the players wore especially in the 90s were heat pressed... so in reality a heat pressed is more authentic than a stitched...and keep those Laney 1s man...I kept mine and will never let them go, great leather and suede is butter on those. They dont really make them like that anymore now days
no they started stitching the jerseys in the 90s. a lot of the jerseys in the 80s were heat pressed and some were stitched .
@@demarcusp359 they didnt start stitching until 93-94 season . My point is "Authentic " jerseys can be a heat press or stitched because the NBA players wore both
@@drejack7 That’s actually false some teams jerseys were stitched and some were heat pressed for example the lakers jersey were stitched in the 80s and mitchell & ness tries to be accurate to the original jerseys of the that time. The stitched jerseys in this video were originally stitched back in the 90s.
@@demarcusp359 in the 80s when Magic Johnson won his 5th title against the bad boy pistons, both teams jerseys were heat pressed facts! That year I believe was 88. My point is just because something is stitched dosent mean authentic because the nba players wore heat pressed and then stitched. Watch the footage from the mid to late 80s those jerseys are all heat pressed. When Jordan wore #9 in the Olympics those were also heat pressed.

I recently bought a Hornets purple "Grandmama" in Hong Kong and it's stitched. It appears that both the Blue and Purple Hornets ones are still stitched (Made in Spring 2019), so you may want to buy them now.

At this point, I have too many to keep in the closet smh lol. I’ve had to store them on their own dedicated clothing rack. I’ll be sure to show it in a future.

Hey man idk if you knew but Reggie Miller isn’t in the retired players union. So mitchell and ness can’t make his jerseys without his approval. The only legit reggie jerseys are old school champion and reebok ones. Same with Barkley

Yo rio, what would you say is the big difference between a heat presses jersey and a stitched jersey? Why is it a deal breaker for you?
Ummm how bout the fact that one is heat pressed and the other one is stitched? That in itself is the big difference if not the ONLY difference between them and THAT is the deal breaker, PERIOD
Stitched is much higher quality. And less likely to fall apart over time.
