Does the breakfalling originate from Japanese Ju-jitsu?
Love the channel by the way. No nonsense self defense 👍

Excellent tutorial, as usual. Question: For the push and/or front choke, once our arms are inside the attacker's, why not use under arm lock (left arm under right of attacker) + right hand across attacker's face and behind the neck, and throw with a tenkan-2 (Aikido) movement while moving down and to the right as if to kneel on the right knee, using forward energy of attacker and your own weight and momentum for the throw? This throw would be all in one fluid movement, once the arm lock and neck are secured. If the attacker does not know how to role out of this, it would either put him on the ground face first, or flip him onto his back. Is this not practical in real world "street" scenarios? I studied Aikido for many years, but I feel this technique is relatively easy to learn, but maybe not good for basic self-defense? What are your thoughts?
