Even if you had loads of money and went to SLC, I don't think you would get audience with the First Presidency. Consider how busy they are. Instead, support your bishop and stake leaders.

The Lord looks on our hearts, not our circumstances and outward appearance. He loves you regardless of what is happening in your life. You need Him and the church needs your talents and sweet spirit. The only one who wants you to feel ashamed is the adversary. When we can go back to church, go and be healed by partaking of the sacrament and feel of his great love. Meanwhile, praying and studying the Book of Mormon daily will bless you with peace.

Brother Nelson speaks more about revelation than just about any other prophet. We don't always know the mechanics, but after receiving revelation in my own life, I don't worry about whether our prophets see angels or experience theophanies, the Holy Spirit is the best and most sure means of revelation available. Does this mean there are no angels or theophanies? No. It simply means don't sell the Holy Spirit short. He's can speak with actual words which you can write down, or just act on them. There are many evangelical "prophets" who were just proven false with prophecies about Donald Trump serving a second term. It's great having a real prophet. Never more can evangelicals hammer Joseph Smith for a false prophecy (that in reality was fulfilled). We now have an entire bank of false prophets that should shut them up awhile. ✋🤔
