One day during our regular trip to the local library, he came up to me and asked me if I knew the man I was speaking to (we were discussing a book on Greek mythology). I said no.

When my youngest son had a lesson at school about “just say no to drugs”, we went to my parents house for dinner the next day. My dad had just had surgery and my mom gave my dad his pills and said, “here are your night time drugs.” My son burst into tears because he thought grandpa was going to jail for taking drugs! 😂😂
