Let us know what books you read in May and which ones were your favorite!📖🤍
In May I read Archer’s Voice, The Teacher, The Women, The Girl In The Castle were a few. Enjoyed them all❤️
I read 6 books which 2 were rereads.
1. Funny story by Emily Henry
2. The fill-in boyfriend by Kasie West
3. Falling for my boss next door by Gina Cooper
4. The exception to the rule by Christina Lauren
5. The cheat sheet by Sarah Adams(reread)
6. The ex talk by Rachel Lynn soloman(reread)
I loved funny story, the exception to the rule, and the ex talk but I loved alll of them
These are such great ones!! We both want to read Funny Story soon! 🙌🏼🥰
The last word: loved this. Also loved no exit. I love how his books feel so fast and constantly have these “ok so this is the end, right? How is he gonna write six more hours?!” And then I rethink it every hour after that. And it just keeps going with the intensity! His writing style definitely works for me!
So glad you loved it!! 🫶🏼
Dark Mattet messed with my brain after I read it. We are watching the show now. My husband hates reading but he is loving the show.
Dark matter: loving the show, they did change some things that have me and hubby and bff like “…why’d they change that? Where’s this going?!” lol. Not bad just weird changes so far.
It definitely feels like a fast paced action thriller sci-fi movie while yer reading it!
I always link dark matter with sa cosby books for that fast paced action movie in yer head vibe
So glad you’re loving the show! Now im ready to see what they changed 🤔
You ladies did a fabulous job! All those great books you have me putting on my wish list. I sure wish there was a book fairy!❤️
I swear when you guys upload I drop everything I’m doing cuz I need to hang out with my girls!! 🩷🖤🩷
This is so sweet!🥹 Thank you for hanging out with us!! 🩷🖤
Wrong place wrong time: ooooh I’m glad you liked it! I was hooked from chapter two! Chapter one the accent on the audiobook was putting me off at first. But like two seconds into chapter two and I was like “this is gonna be at least 4 stars!”
I have read Lock every door by Riley Sager, Ward D by Freida McFadden. I also read Her soul to take by Harley Laroux. I loved all of them.
I LOVED dark matter, definitely a favorite of mine
Reappearance of Rachel Price and Annie Bot are the two books I read, it was fun….
For the next read, I asked a friend of mine to choose one from the two books I chose based on the cover and summary and he chose The Way I Used To Be (the other option was If He Had Been With Me, will read that later). It’s going well so far, can’t wait to know which book is this month’s book club pick
Hope you end up loving “The Way I Used To Be” 🥰 We put the poll up for Junes book! 📚
Happy Place by Emily Henry and The Wishing Game by Meg Shaffer I really enjoyed both. I gave the Wishing Game 3.5 stars and Happy Place 3.75
Funny Story and Just for the Summer were two of the books i read in May. Funny Story didnt get my attention fully until halfway through and Just for the Summer hooked me from the beginning.
We loved just for the summer!!
I read Where Foxes Say Goodnight by Sam Burns, The Bump by Sidney Karger
My favorite Booktubers ❤y’all got me interested in some new books!!
Thank you so much for watching! 😭😭💕
I’m currently reading darling girls!! It’s so good!
I hope you love it!!! I need to read more Sally Hepworth
I read Dark Matter in May as well and LOVED it so much! Also read Funny Story and it was 5 stars for me :D Can't wait to see what the book club thinks about it!
A reread of the Cedar Ridge series by Catherine Cowles, Hunting Adeline, Satan's Affair, and Where's Molly (I got a complete copy lol) by HD Carlton.
I was able to get my Wheres Molly replaced thank gosh 😭 did you like it?
@@laurandareads yes very much. Loaned my series to a coworker who loved them as much as I did.
What moves the dead: liked that a lot. And loooove t king fisher in general! If you haven’t read Silvia Moreno Garcias book “Mexican gothic” you can lie and pretend you have now. They’re basically identical books! lol 😂
😂😂
Call me by your name: at the end I was so confused if I thought it was 2 stars or 5 stars! Looking back I can totally relate to their obsessive all consuming lust/love. But being an old ancient man now I’m also annoyed at some of the toxic behaviors they had that we all basically have at those stages of life/love. My hubby has read book two and says it’s even better!
I definitely felt that as well 😭 I’m interested in the movie now
@@laurandareads it’s got some good atmosphere and like a weirdly mellow lazy Sunday afternoon vibe to it.
i read 11 books in may! 5 were graphic novels, 1 was a novella and the other 5 were full length books
powerful by lauren roberts
five survive by holly jackson
order of the phoenix by j.k rowling
indigo ridge by devney perry
heartstopper vol 1-5 by alice oseman
if we were villains by m.l rio
cinder by marissa meyer
my favourite has to be if we were villains, it kept me hooked, especially in the 2nd half!
I loved If We Were Villains!! 😭
I read 3 books in May, The Summer we started over by Nancy Thayer & The Housemaid & The Housemaids Secret by Freida McFadden. I'm anxiously waiting for the 3rd book in the sequel The Housemaid is Watching coming June 11 on Amazon Kindle. 😊
Yesss, I am patiently waiting too!! ~Amanda
Wishing game: I felt like they took out too much of the game adventure fun of things in the island and added in the unnecessary feeling romance. 🤷🏻♂️ like adding in more game adventure would have added a lot to the book. And taking out the romance wouldn’t have changed much at all. Looking forward to reading more from this author tho!!!
Exactly!!
💖👍 👌🍀💐💖
Omg when was the last two star book rating?! 🫣 treacherous lol!
Exactly! 😭
Wrong place wrong time: ooooh I’m glad you liked it! I was hooked from chapter two! Chapter one the accent on the audiobook was putting me off at first. But like two seconds into chapter two and I was like “this is gonna be at least 4 stars!”
Yesss it was soo good!
