I have an annoying neighbor who allows their dog to walk in my yard and poop without cleaning up. I bought this device and started using it from inside. The dog initially barked but now it walks away. It works!

Works quickly thanks to simple video instructions for the user. Right now showing the device to my dog is all she usually needs and the beep is enough for the other times.

I watched this tutorial video and put into practice what I learned. I wear the device around my neck to use it for reinforcement and now my puppy will even react to the sound as well as the sonic mode.

@@miandathompson6356 I've used mine over 25 ft. away and he stops what he is doing and runs to my side immediately. Not being scared at all. I think this is amazing. Fixed a few problems within a cpl days. Great product. Very helpful for stubborn dogs like my corgi.

We just got this today. I really this works. We have tried several device and our Aussidoodle won't stop barking when we have someone coming to our house. She's very protective. Shea very smart except she won't listen when we say stop barking.

It's not an aggressive bark...it's more of an excited "Thanks for stopping by" bark...but so piercing.

She responded to the Ultrasonic immediately...The sound mode didn't work for her to stop barking..
One time with the Ultrasonic did the trick!

I just received this today for my 5 year old dog who really likes to talk...usually at the cats. Within the next couple of weeks, I will be getting a young puppy. Will this product hurt the puppy's ears? I plan on using this for my adult dog.
Thanks for your comment! It's better to use the device only for your adult dog. Because we don't recommend using the Ultrasonic Dog Trainer on dogs younger than 6 months of age, as their hearing is still developing and the use of the Ultarsonic Dog Trainer may have a negative effect on the dog's earing later.
If you have two dogs in the same area/room, can the dog that is not barking still be in the room or should they be taken away from the area? We have two dogs that are crated at the same time most of the time but only one barks continuously while being crated.

Hello Adolfo! Thank you for your comment. We recommend using the device for training pet dogs. However the device can be used as a deterrent against street dogs. Please note that the device operates within 16.4 feet range and there should be no obstacles (walls, fences) between the device and the dog.
@@stopwoofer Why no obstacles? Because the obstacles block the sound? Also, does the sound hurt dogs in any way? Do they find it painful?
@@stopwoofer I would also like to know if it hurts their ears at all. I have a rescued Jack, he is loud if he hears something at the door. Gets scared at times then is nippy, hoping it helps that too.
I have a ten year old Chihuahua that barks at everyone and everything. I have tried everything I know to try. I just got this in the mail and I don't actually have any real hope left but I'll let you know it goes.

My mother purchased the stop woofer collar the same time I purchased the ultrasonic dog trainer. She has a Westy that barks nonstop and the pain-free stop woofer collar started working immediately the first day! By the second day her neighbors were able to live in peace!!🎉 I hope my ultrasonic dog trainer is just as good. As soon as I get back home from visiting her house (few days) I will try it.😀 hopefully my Chihuahua is not hopeless either.🤷🏼♀️

I have a very high strung dog and a calm puppy both dogs are in the same area. We need to train the hyper dog to not jump, not to run off when the door is open and not to be so ruff with the puppy. So how will this work if this is by sound?

These behaviors usually happen while with the other dog. These behaviors aren’t just barking
If you don't want the other dog get affected by the frequencies, please make sure that she is more than 16.4 feet away from the device. If both dogs can hear it , both dogs are being punished by the sound.

Hello! We recommend starting to use the ultrasound trainer when the dog is older than 6 months, since dogs still have hearing formed up, and it is better not to use such devices. Please, wait until your puppy is 6 months old
Do you give your dog positive reinforcement after they stop barking
It's highly important to give your dog positive reinforcement. As soon as your dog stops barking or behaving in an undesirable manner, immediately stop pressing the button and reward your dog.
Hi! Two questions: 1. If your dog is barking in the crate, should the device be used then? Or should the crate just be a safe space? 2. When the dog stops barking after using the ultrasonic trainer, should they be rewarded with a treat? Or is that just confusing?
Hi Vanessa, thanks for your questions. 1.You can use the device when your dog bakrs in the crate, however, there should be no obstacles between the device and the dog. We recommend to teach your dog that the crate is a safe place. 2. After using the device, when the effect is achieved, wait 3 minutes for the dog to completely calm down and give her a reward in the form of food, pet her for her cooperation!

The Ultrasonic Dog Trainer is designed for training dogs (stop barking, whining, bad behaviour etc). But as a deterrent it also can be used. But we can't be 100% sure that it'll help. Its range of operation is 16.4 feet and there should be no obstacles like walls, doors, fences between the device and a dog.

Hi Sol, thanks for your question. I'm afraid the Ultrasonic Trainer can not be used with a dog with hearing problems, she will not hear either sound, or ultrasound frequencies.

Hi! Thank you for your question! Will be glad to answer it. It depends on the sensitivity level of your cat. Ultrasound may have impact on some cats, however other cats can be not affected by ultrasound at all. But anyway, it's advisable for them not to be around when training dogs.
Hello, the beep sound for button is not very loud. I don't think my dogs hear it at all when barking.

Hi Ajaz! Interesting question. All animals react to ultrasound in different ways. We have never tested our item on snakes, so we don't know if the device works on them or not.

Hi! You should use the device within 16.4 feet (ca. 5 m) between you and your dog. And also don't forget to show the device to your dog, give a voice command and only then press the 'sound'/'ultrasound' button
What if you have two dogs & only one of them is unruly?
Hi Katie! We recommend using the device with the dog that has problems with unwanted barking. You need to train her in a separate room, otherwise the other non-barking dog will also be affected by the device.

My dog barks a lot while on a walk or riding around in our golf cart. He doesn't bark much at home.

However, your dog needs to be within 16.4 feet of you with no obstacles (walls, fences) between the dog and the device. Why does the remote need to be pointed at the dog?

We ask our customers to point the remote right at your dog, because your dog needs to understand why and when he feels discomfort, so that he has an association chain: bad behavior→command→Ultrasonic device → discomfort. I got one because my dog is very friendly but growls at neighbors on our apt property as though it’s our home. I’m hoping this stops him.

The 5 sec comment means within 5 seconds of performing The Unwanted activity you should press the button and as soon as they stopped give them the treat I was confused at the five-second comment
Hi Kim, when your dog starts barking without any reason, take the following steps:
1. Attract your dog's attention
2. Show your dog the device
3. Give a voice command
4. Press the sound/ultrasonic button
These steps should be done within the shortest possible time. It'll help your dog to build a strong connection between their bad behavior and discomfort.

Hi Liz! Thanks for your question. There's a hole on the bottom panel of the device. Insert the loop attached to the ring into the hole. Pull the loop through the second hole. Put the ring through the loop. You can press the button to adapt it so that you can wear it around your neck or your wrist.

I disagree with showing the dog where the sound is coming from, they need to learn that your voice command of "hush" means the same thing, otherwise you have to constantly have the device with you.
Hi! Thank you for the feedback! First, the dog should have a chain of associations: barking --> voice command --> sound/ultrasound --> discomfort, then only voice commands will be enough to let the dog know that they're behaving badly.
You're right that it's highly important to give clear and loud commands, if there are no voice commands, then there will be no effect.
I had high hopes for this device, but my stubburn chiweenies won't stop barking at people/vehicles that come to our property.

Anyone who think that a small beeping which isn't very loud will stop a dog barking is delusional. This had zero effect with my Mini dachshund, she didn't even look up when I pressed the beeper and still didn't react to any of the ultrasound. I believe the reviews on here are fake

10-15% of dogs cannot be influenced to correct barking and behaviour using ultrasound. Each dog is unique and needs individual approach in training.

We recommend waiting up to 3 minutes while teaching your dog different commands. If you want to stop unwanted behavior, you need to use the Ultrasonic immediately. And don't forget that you need to show the device and give clear and loud voice command before pressing the sound/ultrasound button (within 5 seconds)

It's dog abuse
Hello! Thank you for your opinion! But we don't think it's dog abuse, because such ultrasonic devices were created years ago as an efficient dog training tool. Dogs don't get hurt or something like that. Using the Ultrasonic device is a good and humane way to teach your dog good manners.
