I would love to come and ride with y'all I've been a volunteer since I was 16 years old 59 years old still on the fire department I love to fight fire I've been a lieutenant two times I am Maxton North Carolina at Queheel fire RESCUE at sta.15
Hope you don't mind advice from other F/F'rs. Spend more time getting some training, and less time looking for video movie stars as characters. If this advice offends any of you. It proves you need to spend more time Training.
Poorly trained? You've gotta be joking me. These boys see more fire in two months than most companies do in a yearly stretch. As someone who has rode along with a PG Company before I can say with all certainty they do indeed know what they're doing and do it well.
Great job by all, man these guys do a hell of a job!

Must suck to live in an urban environment and not have a brush truck.
LOts of PPE violations as well as in poorly trained engineer and nozzleman.

Treat every fire the same and if something goes wrong your ass is cover for insurance and medical costs.
highcountrytimber the NFPA does not require the use of a scba for brush fires BUT it is up to you if you wanna use them.
Failure of following a ppe program is the leading cause LODD and LODI!
highcountrytimber yes but the NFPA does not require a use of the scba on a brush fire even the forestry dont use them
