we need billionaires who will invest in our own state in the infra sector like ambani and adani do in Gujrat.
If you're a billionaire would you invest in West Bengal? I think you would never. Because they know it's better to invest good states like MH, TN, UP, KN.

That being said, Bengal needs better laws and incentives and most of all it needs BJP.
The Startup ecosystem of West Bengal is very i mean very poor. Its very hard to start from here specialy tech product. Even small cities like Jaipur, Mangalore are ahead of and getting more funding than Kolkata. Im into startup and i really i wanted to start my startup from Kolkata but after starting in Kolkata i found here is no good talent, environment and VCs so i had to move Bangalore.
Its very sad that we're very behind and its to hard to catch up.
95% of start ups in India have failed horribly... And those are still alive, look at how they are performing!! They are all loss making companies.. Loot at the financial of Paytm, byjus .. It's really serious.. U can understand if it's happening to paytm, byjus, what is going on with other start ups!! Why don't india learn something from USA or china??? Poor start up india..

Look at china in 1990. Gdp was same as india.. Today, china is 6 times bigger than india.. China bcm a superpower and why india remain poor?? Only 7-8% people are in formal sector in India, in china, 70% people are in formal sector.. Don't u think it's shameful for us?

Is there any reason why 95% start ups which were formed in the last 10 years in India failed miserably??? Look at paytm, byjus, perhaps the biggest start ups in the last 10 years in India.. These start ups are in heavy loss.. Looks to as if at any time these will fall.. Very poor condition of start up india.

West Bengal should launch state Startup policy to help startups in West Bengal.
Baby copy paste policies don't yeild anything unless it has incentives , Ease of Doing Business measures , Market and Profit Potential in the region .

There should be some basic support for startups from govt. like Grants, interest-free loan, incuabtors for technoloy hardware/software based startups. Most of the startups have already these policies like Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and many other states. And these helps in building the startup ecosytem. And this is what I mean.
Simply big Manufacturing Industry required, without this Startup will not survive
They will never understand B2B
They only know B2C which is bleeding sector for most of the startups around the world .
