I put my name on the waiting list, getting back into RC on and off road this makes since, it’s hard to find time during the day and on weekends to spend time burning fuel and making lot of noise. When you can be at the track. Thanks RCtarget
There were concerns that while the engine is mounted the con rod can fall off the crank shaft while the device is running/active. Can you please explain why this doesn’t happen or won’t happen. I’m looking into a purchase so your correspondence would be appreciated. Thank you.
We appreciate you comment and interest in our products, the concerns about the conrod falling of or even rubbing the internal channel of the engine crankcase are unfounded. To better understand this please keep in mind that the engine is submerged in oil which creates a flow that centers the conrod during operation. In the video you can see how we purposely show a broken in piston/sleeve in which the conrod has no marks at all. Hundreds of engines done with this process are the best proof that our break in system is not only the easiest to use but also the best in the industry.
RCtarget thank you for taking the time to address my concerns. I appreciate it. After the 160mins in the hot oil bath how many tanks does one have to run before the engine is race ready? From experience did you ever had to give an engine a second cycle in the hot oil?
160 minutes is what we found works good for almost every brand, by turning the knob located in the top of the machine you can feel the engine pinch. We did find the Nova P5 engines for example require some more time. After the engine is done in the machine we normally do a fuel bottle (500ml) at the track with a bit richer tune than race tune.
