The Art Power Plant : Exploring Immersive Art at Kunstkraftwerk in Leipzig's Plagwitz

What do you imagine you'd find in the old halls of a power plant? In Leipzig, the old power plant in Plagwitz has been transformed into a creative space, the Kunstkraftwerk.
It specialises in exhibiting deeply immersive and interactive art installations, some of which literally fill the giant halls. In smaller rooms around the plant, smaller exhibits wait to draw you in.
When we visited the main halls were closed for private functions, but we to explore exhibits in two 2018 shows, Visible Sound and Relations. Check out some of the work by artists using technology to create exciting, interactive, engaging and thought provoking art for visitors to Kunstkraftwerk.
