13:57 - 14:31 is a great example of why it's very important to run heavy BBs (>.28g) in a bolt action springer. The crosswind in the field (wind is blowing to the right of the screen) is causing the BBs to curve significantly to the right of where the crosshair in the scope is pointing. Generally, a more precise + sensitive hop-up unit = more lift, while a stronger spring = higher projectile speed. You want to fine tune your build to be able to lift AT LEAST .30s with a cylinder assembly capable of getting shots on target relatively quickly. I usually aim for around 350 - 400 FPS with .30s, but that's just my preference. There's a lot of very experienced techs out there who know this stuff much better than me. Of course, it's good to be able to actually USE your sniper on a field, so joule/FPS limits will also impact how hot your sniper runs. Edit: also keep bucking hardness and type in mind -- higher degree buckings work better for higher FPS, but can affect performance in low fps builds. I've found 60-degree buckings to be the sweet spot for my builds. Maple leaf is where it's at IMO, but there's a lot of capable systems available nowadays.
This was definitely the sniper I wanted when I wanted to try sniping, I remember I never got it because some manufacturer issues or something a few years back. I ended up getting a Kar98, this reminded me how awesome it looks. I might pick one up.

Great video. I was considering the EMG Helio EV01 by Evike which is the Ares Striker in a different stock for less money. Wish it used a 430mm barrel instead of the 550mm, this would help with cylinder volume ratio. The cost of a budget sniper surprises me compared to an AEG. For about the same price, the AEGs have so many more added components (motor, gearbox, electronics, etc.) that you would think AEGs would be much more expensive than spring sniper rifles. Maybe these spring rifles are over priced, at least in comparison to a budget AEG (let's say $150 range).
I’m inclined to agree - AEGs also tend to be more effective in general gameplay. Bolt action snipers can be useful in certain scenarios, but the limited rate of fire and restrictions on engagement distance limit players in a lot of game modes. Built one of these up into an HPA setup, Buyer beware - OEM quality control is bad, After market parts is good. Very proprietary rifle you're only gonna get ARES or action army branded parts. Nobody else makes stuff for this gun. Also the wolverine bolt M does not like this gun, get the electro-pneumatic bolt or preferably get the Mancraft engine for it. That’s a really long shot for any airsoft gun, even at 550FPS. 550FPS is also a lot to ask of the Amoeba given the shortened cylinder. It’s not impossible, but in my experience, airsoft BBs deviate way too much to expect that kind of (consistent) accuracy, even with extra heavy ammo.

On all Striker models, the cylinder is smaller than a regular spring sniper, which means it has less air volume. Upgrading it won’t fix the size component, but there are ways of compensating (namely adding a tight bore barrel).

You don’t need gas or batteries for the Striker. It’s a spring-powered airsoft gun, meaning there’s a spring inside the bolt that is released by the trigger - that’s where the burst of air that fires the BB comes from. An advantage of using an airsoft gun like this is that they don’t require any external source of power (like gas or batteries)!
No worries man! Glad to hear your watching videos and getting informed. It’s always good to ask questions 👍 Hopefully some of my videos will help you. I have a vid on my recommendation for a beginner airsoft gun if you’re interested: ua-cam.com/video/C9EwSLTooN4/v-deo.html
From what I’ve experienced, yes. It’s equivalent to pretty much any other tracer unit. Xcortech is also good. I’ve been hands on with the AT1000, Lighter, Lighter S, and Lighter BT; all of them have performed superbly.
How do you mean? You can put higher powered springs into it if that is what you meant. Increasing the strength of your spring will increase your FPS, but that will also have an effect on all the other parts of your gun. Higher spring tension can impact your spring guide, piston, trigger sear, and your hop-up rubber, so I’d look into sourcing some other upgrade parts as well to increase performance! Personally, I’d look into hop-up and piston/cylinder upgrades before upping your FPS. Hopefully that helps. Check out the support guide in the description if you’re interested!
Lots of people put suppressors on their airsoft guns. It’s primarily for aesthetic purposes, but on spring airsoft snipers, foam supps can actually significantly decrease the “pop” when firing.
I only played advanced warfare - personally I prefer the design of of infinite warfare (one of my favorite artists Aaron Beck, of Elysium fame, worked on it) but advanced warfare was some good fun. Infinite warfare looked a bit too fast for me. Atlas 20mm was very dope, as was that one railgun sniper (MORS?).

On all Striker models, the cylinder is smaller than a regular spring sniper, which means it has less air volume. Upgrading it won’t fix the size component, but there are ways of compensating (namely adding a tight bore barrel).
Christman has arrived early, Where been man?
Working on another project! It is going to be big!
ayo im gonna drownd
There also is a third Jen that just came out aswell amoeba t1 way better, good review 👏

First airsoft content I've watched in 6+ months. It'll be nice once the vaccine is out and airsoft is allowed to exist in Washington again.
Damn here in NY we have been able to play since July sorry bro
@@Joe-uc7qt One indoor place has been surviving on private parties only, and I don't have 9 friends to get together and convince to fork over $40 each to play.
Haven't done more than shoot cans since February.
@@Jeranhound I feel for you
We’ll get out there soon, bro. I feel you. This was a super slow year, I got out to play a few times during the summer but a lot of places were really scaling it back.
hey man do you know where you got the face shield?
You can get them on eBay last I checked. Here’s a link to all my gear, it should be in there: docs.google.com/document/d/1f1kXy-ITS10cTtLEC8IOYgF8C13Rs4HiK3-8eMgMY5w
Would a VSR10 spring fit in here?
I don’t think so. the Striker uses AEG springs, which are shorter (part of why it has a short bolt pull).
@@CallsignReach ohhh alr thx man
No prob!
What bbs do u use
Epic
2 call signs with the same sniper😮💨
Is that scope on Amazon?
I’m actually not sure what kind of scope it is, but I know that it was originally made for a crossbow. You can definitely find one like it on Amazon.

It's _oraora_ time
So do I need gas c2o canisters or batteries for the gun alone
You don’t need gas or batteries for the Striker. It’s a spring-powered airsoft gun, meaning there’s a spring inside the bolt that is released by the trigger - that’s where the burst of air that fires the BB comes from. An advantage of using an airsoft gun like this is that they don’t require any external source of power (like gas or batteries)!
@@CallsignReach thanks sorry I'm getting into airsoft so I'm new at this all 😁
No worries man!
What kind of bipod do i need for this sniper?
I was using a Harris style bipod in this video
Hey quick ? Does the ace tech lighter light up green just as good as any other ace tech tracer
From what I’ve experienced, yes. It’s equivalent to pretty much any other tracer unit. Xcortech is also good. I’ve been hands on with the AT1000, Lighter, Lighter S, and Lighter BT; all of them have performed superbly.
@@CallsignReach thx 🙏
@@CallsignReach so even the lighter but has just as good green sort lol I meant to type bt in my other comment
BT
Yeah I have 2 Lighter BTs on my primary and sidearm and both are great!
I’m going more than once
Can i put more springs in amoeba striker AS01?
How do you mean? You can put higher powered springs into it if that is what you meant.
Increasing the strength of your spring will increase your FPS, but that will also have an effect on all the other parts of your gun. Higher spring tension can impact your spring guide, piston, trigger sear, and your hop-up rubber, so I’d look into sourcing some other upgrade parts as well to increase performance! Personally, I’d look into hop-up and piston/cylinder upgrades before upping your FPS.
Hopefully that helps. Check out the support guide in the description if you’re interested!
@@CallsignReach thx. ill try it. Cause my ameoba shoots ony 300fps With 0,20 g and that is whorse than my aeg.
I mean only
Definitely read the title as something to strike amoeba with, not an amoeba-brand striker lol
We’re sniping microorganisms out here
Who put silencers on airsoft guns
Lots of people put suppressors on their airsoft guns. It’s primarily for aesthetic purposes, but on spring airsoft snipers, foam supps can actually significantly decrease the “pop” when firing.
They sell their own obrez's
im sorry but the scope covers and you aiming while using them hurts my soul ahahahahah
Better to leave them on then to have to buy a new scope 🤷♂️
think of doing a giveaway
Advanced Warfare vs Infinite Warfare - Which Was Better
I only played advanced warfare - personally I prefer the design of of infinite warfare (one of my favorite artists Aaron Beck, of Elysium fame, worked on it) but advanced warfare was some good fun. Infinite warfare looked a bit too fast for me. Atlas 20mm was very dope, as was that one railgun sniper (MORS?).
What is that black mask you’re wearing ?
Condor Tactical Facewrap. Here’s a link to all my gear. It should be on there: docs.google.com/document/d/1f1kXy-ITS10cTtLEC8IOYgF8C13Rs4HiK3-8eMgMY5w

Hello Reach, I'm Rohan Thompson of the Racoon City Police Department, we could use a guy with your skill set. What ya say? Wanna leave those corporate scumbags and come work with us? I know they have you on a contract, but you could say I have, high connections.
I don't even care about the sniper anymore. HOW TF YOUR GOGGLES NOT FOGGING WITH THAT MASK ?

Them orange tips on the gun look so bad don't know why people have them
Why does Airsoft hate left handed people?
Southpaws have been asking this question since the invention of firearms.
Hello Callsign: Reach. I am not sure if you remember me but I used one of your clips in a airsoft compilation. I was wondering if you would be okay if I used some more of your content in future compilations. If you would be okay with that could you please contact me by email (you can find my email in the about section of my youtube channel). UA-cam sometimes does not notify me if someone replies to a comment. So make sure to email me if you would like to be in another compilation. Thanks! GG.
