Thanks for the video. I just acquired a Equinox 600 a couple of weeks ago and trying to learn it. I noticed that you don't really use the pinpoint feature on yours, but rather lift the coil and start digging. Obviously it is working as you soon find your target. Question: do you ever use the pinpoint feature or do you have another trick that helps you nail down just where to dig? Maybe it is just from using the rig so long?? thanks.

Thanks for the view. Congrats on your purchase. It wont disappoint. No I don't use the pinpoint feature. I swipe back and forth until the signal goes away. The Nox has a good way of telling you were the item is you are looking for. Wherever that signal starts front to back is where the opening in your coil is, that item is almost always at that line. Mark that spot with your eyes. Spin 90 degrees and swipe till the signal starts again. You can also judge the size by my method. I've just always done it that way. I also run all 50 tones. I like to hear the differences in the pitch of beep tones. That way I'm not looking down at my display all the time. My advice...throw a coin on the ground and see where that signal starts and stops on your coil when you are swiping then moving forward.
