    Awesome work came out looking more aggressive!!
    Did you use the same stock upper control arms?

      Thank You!! This kit form Rc keeps the factory control arms. They were in good shape so we kept the factory arms that were on it.

    Would you suggest putting in aftermarket control arms that are meant for 2-4 inch lifts? In my opinion it seems like it would help out

      The lifts are designed to work with the factory control arms. It just depends on what you are trying to do with the truck. The benefit to factory is ease in finding replacement parts. Aftermarket tend to be stronger.
      I will make this recommendation if you do go after market. Stay away from uni ball upper control arm. They take a ton of maintenance and are best for heavy off road applications stick with a control arm that has a ball joint.

    Say Josh, can you clarify which direction the rear blocks go ... Pretty sure i just put mine in backwards, my greater angle of the block is towards the rear 🤦🏻

      You want the shorter end of the block to go to the front and the longer end towards the rear.

    Did the stock exhaust need cutting at all to clear the drive shaft up front

    Does the front tires stick out more than the back tires like chevys after the lift?

    • @XtremeTruckAuto

      If it does it is it is very minor. Nothing like Chevy. However there are a few companies that do make a narrow track kit for Chevys.

    I had a 6” on my truck but when they was done it sat unlevel in the front are they supposed to do that

      Not typically some times on older truck with a ton of mile they can have a slight nose up due to the springs in the rear being worn. Other times, I have seen where other shops didn't realize they had 2 inch lift struts in it and put the 6 lift spacer on top of them.

    How hard is it to drop the dif
    And put it back in

    • @XtremeTruckAuto
      @XtremeTruckAuto  6 місяців тому

      That really depends on what tools you have at your disposal. Like lift, pole jacks, trans jack, etc. I would definitely recommend two people if you have never done it before, just to be safe. Luckily on the fords its not terribly that hard. Ford are one of the easiest to get the diff out. Are you going to be doing a lift?

      @patrickstokes9808 6 місяців тому

      Yea probably I work at a shop but I have never really done anything like that before

      @@patrickstokes9808 If you cut a bit off of the pocket first before you pull the diff, it helps it come out easier. Make sure you measure and mark before you cut anything off on some kits you have to measure from the end of that part of the frame. It makes it 1000% harder if it had been cut off..... ask me how I know. LOL You live and you learn.
