.....the song is about a bird that is singing outside his window, and some birds leave during the winter due to the cold winter. Thats why the song is called sumargestur, meaning summerguest because when the winter comes there are no birds singing....

I very much enjoy this song, its beautiful. also a funny thing I just noticed some of the sound remind me of Coldplay mixed with Mumford & sons so two thumbs up from me

Something about Jesus being nailed to a tree, his path is straight and true, and he never fails. And then in the chorus he says "From the heart I thank thee, friend, for precious melodies. For the sweet and pure tones, sweet and pure tones." That's all I can make out.
