Hi when you drag an external file in, does it have to be music , could you drag in film voice clips like at the start primal scream - we wanna be free to do what we wanna do , things like that ?

In MPC Standalone mode I'm able to see and preview all my sounds. This is the internal memory for the device. For whatever reason, the MPC Software won't load the sounds and I can't browse my internal memory on the MPC Unit while in Controller Mode. Any tips?
What’s up quick question. I’m trying to sample an old song and I have it downloaded. Howeve when I try to import it it keeps saying it won’t load due to low memory on mpc. How do I fix that? I’m new to this and have no idea how to use the software

Yes, same process. Pretty much any MPC Beats video will work with studio 2 because studio 2 comes with the full MPC 2 software instead of the limited MPC Beats software.
Thanks for all the information, it is VERY helpful. I am however having a very weird issue, my q-link mode just turns off randomly and on randomly. In MPC beats where it says Q-link mode: Screen; All the knobs are "off" and I cant get them back on unless it randomly decides to come back, then they go away again so I can't use my knobs at all. Any idea why this is happening?

Off topic question: I noticed in the video that you have some Yamaha monitors (I'm not sure if they are the HS5, 7, or 8's) but I am curious if you have experienced any hissing noise from them? I have read reviews were some people say they do have hissing and others that say they do not. Whatever input you are willing to share will be greatly appreciated. Blessings!
I think it depends on where your using them at, if it's home studio you might hear hissing due to the the electricity that not filtered or cleaned so you have to buy a power strip filter, it should do the trick
Off topic question 🙋🏿. I have a tascam 24 SD it has no midi out only USB for data dumping. Can I use midi thru on my korg ea-1 to run it thru to the live?

For some reason when i click on one of the template options in the list (Trap Template for example), it says I would have to replace everything in my current project inorder to upload the template. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i wish you told us to export them because i just imported a whole bunch of stuff i wanted to sample but now idk how to save it and put it on my USB in my sample files. (Im very new at this btw)
When you save the project there is a project folder that saves too that will have all your samples. It is in the same folder that you saved your project in.

@@MatthewStratton also earlier I was pressing pad 1on my akai and it would play my sample and id be able to see a line on the music lines (idk what they're called) and I would be able to accurately pause and clip a sample by export but now when I press the pad 1 it doesn't start any sample even if I have it ready to be played, I have to hold down on it with my mouse. do you know what that problem could be too? Also sorry for all these question's lol.
See... I just assumed that would work when i saw the sticker on the box for the program. 🤷 i figured... The machine is amazing. Why would the software they are advertising suck? It's Akai... They know what they're doing, guys.

what am i missing? how do you put a whole song on the screen. the sample recording thing cuts off after a few seconds.

A bluetooth speaker does not work directly with the MPC One.
for the drag from files method do they have to be instruments or can they be from songs?

MPC Beats is a free version of the MPC 2 software that you can download off of Aka Pro website.

How come I only have 1 expansion working? And only has about 15 samples, 4cshow on expansion browser but only 1 on media browser

Make sure you are in SAMPLE EDIT. Then you can drag the sample right into sample edit.
