I just want to know for ex"- if i have assigned kick, snare and other percussion sounds from A01-A08 and want to assign those chops directly to above pads like A09-A16. is it possible because i watched so many videos i did not get the direct answer.Thanks

Can we assign sample chops directly from sample edits to those above pads like in this case if i chop a melody or vocal loop in 8 regions and want them to assign directly to the same program from A9-A16 like we get those kits by Akai? I got the 8i6 and still cannot sample from the laptop, is there a specific way I have to setup? Because I can hear music thru the interface but the sampler isn’t picking anything up
Test the different input when you sample from the CPU. The 8I6 has a stereo loopback channel that will allow you to record your CPU audio. Sample through inputs 1,2 3,4 5,6 7,8. I believe it's 5,6

I have protools and I’m new to all this. But I also have a focusrite 4i4 can I get samples the way you did on yours ?
Yes you can. I believe you have to use inputs 5-6. But try to record on inputs 1-2 - 9-10. One of those should work.

Hi how do u input samples without having to record the em internally e.g they are already a file on my computer.
Switch from midi track to audio track.
Drag and drop samples from your hard drive to audio track.
You still coulda told us the software not everyone has that Audio interface
Hi Friend; you know how make Eq Mid Side in MPC Beats?
You need an EQ that has a Mid side EQ option. Check out Universal Audio.

Are your preferences set for the 8i6? Check that and all your inputs are the corrects ones

How to use midi expansion packs with moc software
If you hit the letter X on your keyboard, it will bring up All the MPC expansions you have installed.
