No, it's not the thumbnails. UA-cam's "justification" is always "sexual audio content" and then usually with a short time stamp that makes no sense or simply related to the whole video, but that is rarer.
I think an easy fix for the youtube issues would be to upload videos with no sounds, or visuals, or talking, or moving, or breathing, or thumbnail, or title. That should get youtube off of you 👍

Asmr is one of the most saturated genres of video on the platform, you can find somebody else if this aint what you're looking for nobody is stopping you
