What James said at the very end brought me to tears. ‘Making people comfortable on their way to hell’ very impactful and should always be on our minds.

I have a 3 year old daughter and already thinking about having that roadtrip and real talk with her. Thanks for sharing, I think its very important as Christian fathers to practice our God-given authority of leadership and make sure it carries on for the next generations. God bless!

I think for a young girl to have an experience like this with her daddy, could help set her values for life, her limits in the most important issues, the choice of a husband when that day comes, and hopefully, the realization that there are consequences to every action so that if she is going to do something, she needs to think through it with her head and not her feelings, and decide if she is prepared to deal with the consequences. I wish one of my parents, especially my dad, had done this with me. I believe it would have kept me from making so many mistakes. Please preach this idea to the men in the Discipleship Group!

Instead of just seeing what is in front of me I want to see the bigger picture is to see the justice of God in the New Heaven and the New earth. Micah 6:8. This sermon last week helped me to not suffer so deeply from rejection of my daughter. I’ve been researching the justice of God. Or day He will justify all things.
