Teach them how to surrender their life to Christ. He will take care of the rest. “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Your comment does not represent what was shared. In context, what was shared is that it is unwise to avoid planning for retirement in hopes that Jesus returns in your lifetime. Jesus is guaranteed to return, and we long for that day, but it's unwise to think that will happen in our lifetime. No one knows the day or hour of His imminent return.
