Hello sir i am from India recently i started using rosewater as a toner with in two days my skin colour turned into dark and also i got small small bumps on my cheeks area🥴...i am not at all using any other serums or any harsh retenol treatments also i am only using simple facewash and mamaearth light gel moisturizer and aqualogica hyaluronic acid sunscreen...i dont even understand whats the problem and i am using the rose water from tribe concepts brand
May be the rose water that you have bought is not the 100% pure rose water, it has other ingredients such as fragrance and other additives. So its cause irritation to the the skin Try Mario Badescu rose water

Hydralonic acid is dangerous.....intead use retinol or salycylic or niacinamid

Maybe It triggered your allergies which flowers typically do I definitely don't use it on my sensitive skin. I'd rather use aloe Vera or green tea.
