Hi there my people. I cook mine totally different. When I had a restaurant I sold tons of it. My mother use to bring it dry from Sudan and I cooked at my restaurant it was one of the best seller. I also got 5 mufraka as backup. I sold my restaurant back in 2012. Now I'm thinking of opening one again. Coriander, clove and 4 more spices plus 3 vegetables and at the end Gadha. I sold the platter white rice, chicken or beef mulokhia and a side salad for 12.99 and I couldn't keep it on the steam table.

Why did you disable your comments for Amigo Restaurant? I wanted to say that the lady was creative and smart with how she decorated her restaurant and used repurposed and recycled items!!! Looks good and can't wait to visit South Sudan.

I think cooking garlic with meat at the same time is better to reduce that much garlicky smell. But you did a good cooking though😆.

Molokhia is Egyptian. It dates back to the Ancient Egyptians.

      Shkorina shkorina
African cuisines, including the Egyptian cuisine, have lots in common; they heavily use vegetables and leaves. Molokhia may be a dish eaten all across Africa and may have been discovered by different people, but what I wanted to say it's been found on Egyptian tombs that they made it.
